  1. Blame games aren't nice but this gives the sensation that a little more could have been done… for anyone who knows or follows golf, players do not withdraw with two holes to play. You withdraw in Hole 11-12 at the very most, but usually it happens in the Front 9. It was very clear and evident something was happening mentally to Grayson at that moment. Maybe a tour official, someone at the clubhouse should have been a little more attentive and offered to have a chat, spend the afternoon with him. Maybe it would have avoided this. Players are not machines

  2. Absolutely tragic. Condolences to all Grayson's family. May God guide you. For God sakes please talk if you are sufferering. It might not be a silver bullet to solve all problems but its a start! Be kind people! Remember what really matters!

  3. I’m writing this in the hopes it will help anyone out there, if I can help one person it will be worth every word of this…
I’m 64 years old and have been suffering with depression and anxiety since high school… I have a profound faith in God that has kept me going for all these years I’ve thought about taking my life many and many of times in all those years but my faith in God is the only reason I have not done it yet…
I hear people always say they took the easy way out but I’m telling you that’s not a fair statement… It hurts and is so painful,it’s the most horrible experience you can go through… I can’t even come close to explaining how much pain is involved,it’s the worst feeling in the world…
I found out a few days ago that I have terminal cancer and the pain is so bad I can hardly move… Every bone in my body is in terrible pain… And compared to the mental health problems I have— my cancer is nothing, a piece of cake compared to my mental health issues… I hope people will understand how absolutely horrible depression and anxiety is for a person to go through… So please if you have a love one that you think might be in this situation please please help them get the treatment they need…
May God Bless you and love you always…..

  4. RIP Grayson. So sad to hear as after your win at Sony, You said how much better you were and that you were fighting and beating your Demons. Sleep well brother 😢

  5. I feel so sorry for Grayson's family, but I also know how debilitating anxiety, depression and panic attacks can be.
There are medications, but it can take years to find the right ones, if at all.
I remember how horrible it was, just knowing how long it might take, but I got lucky, early on. My family would call this a win because I am alive and no longer a danger to myself…
But this sickness will always be with me. It is something I can only "manage" but that is enough for an old man.
When my people pass away, I am secretly envious and I know this is no way to live.

Please forgive Gray, and know that he has found God's mercy, or he would never have been able to see this through.
    I absolutely believe this.
Suicide is not an act of cowardice, but one of desperation. It is forgivable.

  6. If these stories were shared instead of hidden more people would not feel alone. Even in small communities families are embarrassed but if they would open up it would help more people imo RIP

  7. no mention of his fiance in the whole "loved" part of the family's statement. i find that rather odd. im assuming she was some kind of net negative on his mental health overall, but who knows. strange.

  8. You die twice in this life. The dayyour heart stops beating for the last time, and the last time someone speaks your name. Rest in peace Grayson, I wish all his friends and family strength at this horrific time.

  9. It pisses me off how people were saying heart attack. MENS MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS SOO MUCH MORE THAN YOU BOOFS COULD IMAGINE

  10. No one cares. That's the problem and for men it's harder. Men don't talk to anyone about mental health because it brings shame and being labelled an outcast. The time to do more is now. Man up!

  11. I wish more psychiatrists would speed up the implementation of esketamine for in office care. It was specifically designed and approved by the FDA for instances like this. Results within hours not weeks like every SSRI/SNRI. It is the only breakthrough for TRD in over 40 years.

  12. @saymyname8925. Why troll people with sad comments. Someone suffering from severe depression and committed suicide. People are leaving condolence messages yet all you can do is reply nasty troll messages. You come across as a sad, pathetic, horrible person. Hopefully one day this scenario doesn't come to you or someone you know.

  13. Shame that no one was able to help him, he was a successful guy, needed only to appreciate what he had and focus on the positives. It’s so sad and such a waste of life

  14. His fiancée wasn’t mentioned in that statement…am I the only one who finds that to be odd???? There’s something there.

  15. i a hugh golf fan. ive followed his play and tournments. i had to pick him this past week at charles swab .the news he is not with us any more is so sad.i try tio understand how some one with 2 wins and a win in 2024, could be un happy . may god bless the parents and family as they go thru this time in life .I love every one and prayers for all that knew grayson. if you need a prayer i be glade to add you to my list also ,thanks jsmith3964

  16. I don't usually get it with, what's wrong with some Europeans, how do u summon up the courage to take your own life .. Despite the fact that things are working out perfectly for you

  17. The guy looks older than 30, you can tell he's been through a lot in those 30 years. That's a battle, a war he went through. RIP

  18. How tragic.
Please, if anyone is struggling there is always someone to talk to.
    Help is out there

  19. Arrested Friday played a bit in tournament then drops out due to illness then toe tagged on Sunday !? What the hell is going on?!!?

  20. Mental illness is no joke. Just look at all the pro Palestine protesters at universities around the US. I don’t know how they managed to gained admission.

  21. RIP Grayson, depression is a terrible disease, I myself barely make each and every day, you're pain and suffering is over my friend.

  22. This seems to be a good warning that people should be more careful than they are about carbon monoxide poisoning. It is sad to see this guy die so young.
