In this video filmed in 2011 Will Raison is on the Syndicate Lake at Gold Valley where he shows how to use groundbait to target commercial fishery carp in the margins on the pole. He shows the mixing and the feeding, rigs and bites.
He backs this tactic up with the method feeder.

Creators note March 2024 : You may know that I shot and edited the Will Raison Fishing videos that were published by V2V Angling Productions but illness (I have a rare form of blood cancer) brought me to a point where a few years ago I could not continue making them. As the copyright owner of these productions I believe they are still packed with good info and advice even if they are somewhat dated now. I enjoyed these Videos will, but wonder as it’s not a match, is there any reason why you put them in nets. Why not just return them as soon as they are landed.
Crazy bait “Gold”. Now that takes me back when it used to be one of the only commercial groundbaits on the market! Must be going back 20+ years !! Maybe longer.
