Some offseason improvements:
1. AD works on jumpshoot and goes back to 4.
2. Need a defensive/lob threat center. Also who can set good screens! Dwight as a backup center?
3.Vando gets healthy and works on his perimeter shooting and floaters.
4. Trade Rui if we can get more size, def, and shooting.
5. Need a veteran pg on this team like when we had Rhondo. CP3 is a defensive liability and injury prone, so questionable.
6. Need nother 3 and D
Lakers don’t have any defense at all but if they get Kai sotto they will have a defense for sure..
If lakers need a good defensive player get Kai sotto and renz abando this two player will lockdown any player in the nba..
Frank Vogel is available and he is the most experienced coach on the market.

i say dont add 3rd star and fix a better roster (non injury prone players) but they'll try to add 3rd star post lebron, but it also depends on the new contract so we'll see, but 1st they need to get their coach 1st

So frustrating to watch. They've had two seasons and one playoff series to know that you should never leave MPJ alone. Why would you double Jokic, with AD on him, to leave MPJ wide open? They had the talent but not the coaching staff to come up with a better defensive plan. Minny understood this and took MPJ and Gordon out of the game. What were these coaches looking at to make them come up with such a horrible plan.
Keeping Reaves is so hard to plan around. How many truly great 3 and D point guards are out there?

Get rid of stat padding Lebron James. He’s playing selective defense since he came to LA.
If the lakers hire there Head Coach & Coaching staff.. They should implement a System like what Phil Jackson did The Triangle Offense.. If the lakers have a system to follow whether its offense or defense this will help them to be more organize..
I hope with the LA Clippers having there own arena.. The Lakers arena atmosphere should be change look how organized other teams in playoff time… We need that vibes and energy in thr building..

Just a suggestion Sean, when You're breaking down the play, there's no need to switch back the screen of you talking because it makes it a bit more difficult to process the action when you constantly take the play off the screen. Or maybe do one of those green screens where you can yourself at the corner of the video while the play develops
You won't get there by leaving 3 point shooters open and not making any adjustments.
Sean what you are doing is what is missing, coaching. Your coaches are the one who gets you on the same page.
Defense begins with anticipation! You cannot wait for the pass to be made and then move. You need to be in help position before the pass or dribble drive, You need to then be moving as the ball is in the air. Not see the pass made then rotate. Cannot stand and watch then react. Watch the shot then try to rebound. As the shot is taken find the man, block-out , then rebound. In other words start playing the man before your man gets the ball.
All you showed me was Dlo Rui and LB was lazy on defense even AR at times. You can blame coaches all day but these plays you see these players IQ is terrible. Rotating on defense is basic fundamentals sh*** Rui was lost all year
Move AD to center and bench AR
Trade players that don't play defense. Period.
