WHO IS WINNING THE PGA CHAMPIONSHIP?

good evening degenerates and welcome back to another episode of DJ hour it is the PGA Championship we are doing things a little differently this week we’re going to be posting two podcast episodes one on the PGA Championship which you’re watching right now and then NBA playoffs right after that coming tomorrow so we have a lot to talk about PGA Championship this weekend it’s second major of the Season we already talked about the Masters we were very sharp talking about the Masters we absolutely nailed the Masters and uh let’s try to just keep it going let’s carry it on spiritual numbers one and two over here I can’t wait to see what Michael has to say about this episode he uh Avid golfer huge I got things to say if you watch the golf Vlog you’ll know how serious he is about his craft so I can’t wait to see what he has cooked up without further ad let’s get right into the [Music] action for the Masters we started out by picking the winners oh and the sucker bad you really didn’t have to be that sharp to pick the winner because there was a golfer playing some of the best golf that’s ever been played in the history of golf I saw a couple stats thrown around earlier this week that were saying tiger or Scotty’s playing better right now than tiger was in his prime it seems like B it’s not as far as winning goes it’s obviously not longevity the same but like the advanced statistics for golf are saying Scotty’s literally playing the best golf of anyone ever right now um take that however you want it very interesting we uh we picked Scotty to win The Masters pretty easy yeah he won the Masters we live bet it we bet it pre- tournament we did everything we could top five top 10 top 20 hammer it as hard as we possibly could and it came in also Scotty not that bad winning you know shortly after as well oh yeah the guy’s pretty good at what he does he’s good um I’m starting with UT Tate for who you think is going to win the PGA Championship does Scotty just keep going on this run I mean he’s the overwhelming favorite this week you see him at plus 400 right now yeah I mean uh Scotty’s just he’s just absolutely been incredible congratulations Scotty had his had his baby last week I saw I saw tiger gave him fatherhood advice while playing golf and then the top comment was like tiger stop playing like you actually like RAC your hand while you were playing taking out strippers behind the club for like going to winning events Scotty had a a quote he’s like yeah I was holding you know my little newborn in my arms with the green jacket in my closet he’s like felt pretty good yeah yes just winning that was everyone else’s only chance quite a FX if they’re having a kid on the course well I you know I kind of I I I figure some of the other guys will give you Scotty so I chose to exclude Scotty from my my actual outright picks I’ve got three I got three of them for you um the second second best um odds is going to be Roy mroy uh Roy is on an absolute tear uh vhalla plays really really long so you’re going to want lot of 7600 yard 7600 yards it’s going to play really long and you better believe that Ruff is going to be insane at an at a major championship so the players that can hit the ball it’s going to be rough the r be rough thank you Mel the rough will be rough so driving accuracy driving distance is going to be huge Rory M leads leads the uh PGA in driving distance so we’re going to rock with Rory maoy our first pick plus 750 um and then secondly I’ve got ludvig aberer um people are all over him guess are all over he’s yeah he’s an absolute freak he came runner up to Scotty at the Masters this year um he’s top 25 in driving accuracy and distance on the tour um he did not play last week I think he’s dealing with a little injury but I think it was kind of a look ahead spot anyway to prepare for this week so I think he’ll be good to go um I’m I absolutely love lvg I love the talent um I think he’s too talented to kind of you know he’s clearly proven that he can be in the hunt and I think someone at plus 2200 uh with that much talent you know might as well hop on him now I’d love to be early on him that’d be fantastic hop onig yeah third my Absol long shot I’m not even bet I’m not even betting him to be top five top 10 or top 20 but I have him to win sepa se straa he uh he has a weirdly surprisingly good major record in his career wait what are the odds on that plus 11 yeah plus 11,000 110 to1 all right um he t16 at the Masters this year t7 at the PJ championship last year and T2 at the open last year a lot of people don’t remember that T2 and t7 t16 and his last three major championships trending down a little um yeah well his last two starts have been his last two starts have been T5 and T8 um on the PGA tour so very very encouraging he’s playing really well clearly he steps up in big moments for uh the major championships uh he’s very much in form and I think he can he could possibly contend so don’t be surprised if you see SE Str at the top of the leader board I like that step first just long shot that I just have a weird feel for I don’t know why but his b kind of feel what it’s a feel your rooster yeah my rooster feel good luck in editing Booth with that my feels going to be crazy okay you got to stop on fire that’s five bleeps in like seconds five roic grows that’s Sor I love that edit uh give me uh Victor hin I got at plus 5,000 it’s been moving around a lot I saw even more like plus 4500 right now yeah um I think I don’t know why I just feel like in big moments he sometimes plays well he sometimes plays terrible he’s my long shot just for fun I think he can ball out but my actual pick for the PJ Championship it’s about distance got to drive it long to play well Bryson to shamboo how you do it I think people uh the Masters he did crumble at the end I think just around the greens he had a little stuff to work on WE over you got so excited about that pick he had to fall over holy [ __ ] I thought it was a great pick okay you good though yeah I see what just happened I don’t we get can we get the replay whatever just happened something happened you like immediately apologize I was like what repl no replay you’re good I want to see where hands too keep the table going I’ll keep wor but yes I have uh Bryson at plus 2900 I think almost 30 to1 for a guy who has done it and knows how to do it and at the Masters I mean he looks great and just couldn’t perform around the greens I think if he just cleans a little bit up the driving is going to carry it’s going to kill a lot of Strokes off his score I just I think driving so big Bryson 30 to1 bang all right yeah um so no one want to give you Scotty I’ll give you Scotty Scotty plus 400 there you go why the sucker is BET keep betting this [ __ ] that’s my that’s my note that’s that’s the only thing I have say uh he wins playing the best golf in the world he wins you’re get him at 4 to one it’s not the juiciest thing in the world uh he’s going to be in contention he’s minus 125 to get a top 10 or what is it top 10 or top five top five minus 125 to get a top five so like he’s going to be in the mix and when he’s in the mix he’s been winning so I love that’s my bet for this tournament um John ROM I love it 16 to1 plus 1600 um he’s third in the field and strokes gained off the T and in Strokes gained from the T to the green also third so literally top three off off of the tea and getting there he’ll be a very under owned Superstar this week because he didn’t play well at the Masters and he’s been on live people kind of just like you’re talking about distance I mean like he’s gaining Strokes when you yeah like better than almost everyone just getting to the green clearly being cont and we’ve seen him put and clutch moments you look at the US Open that was the one I went to at Tory Pines I mean clutch putt after clutch putt after clutch putt so in a major I like John ROM and then my long shot Jordan spe plus 7,000 look um every single of these days every single T it’s going to hit one of these days I will keep betting it I have at 70 to1 I have 69 more events shout out 69 have like five or six probably oh yeah well we’re starting now we’re starting now 69 more tries to get this right to break even so I love the juice here one of these days is going to hit um he’s a beast I love Jordan spe used to be one of the best golfers just you know get a little spark back we’ll see what happens J uh yeah I’m definitely not betting Jordan spe uh what I am betting is Roy mroy for sure at plus 750 uh the runner up in odds but the previous winner in 2014 I think at this course uh so you know the said weird but’s right but the familiarity of the course you know will play play well his experience there there you go some research there no I’m a genius and second second here’s here’s where we get really deep my my longer shot my 54 to1 uh pick now it is Cam Smith Cameron Smith Mr Smith a Smithy uh yeah Aussie aie Aussie wait wait wait let me tell you the reason the reason why is because I was at work the other day and I was talking to my boss and my boss mentioned that there’s a new uh new series of Mr and Mrs Smith about the two spies who are living in the same house said it was a great great film that was a great film back in the day Angel Jolie Angel Jolie shout out shout out her she’s uh beautiful and uh yeah so Smith great film Smith great golfer Smith winning Awards signs bang Mr Smith 541 bang sharp I mean I can’t disre sharpness I mean I’m actually going to bet that because his brain does work in that kind of he hit Windam Clark like that just say it works in the weirdest way where sometimes like what the hell is he saying but like I’d much rather have him do that than try to pull out golf step no I’m a genius if he’s just saying words and that’s when he’s sharp don’t don’t count him out no I’m smart how much was Windam de wasn’t like 70 was a lot a lot and he just randomly picked a lot to a little snip the No No you had no part in my this is America is America shout out I’m free to choose what I wish boy this is America don’t catch you tripping though okay um what okay uh yeah for for this it was pretty easy for me uh I went with two people one of them already mentioned Scotty sheffler uh I bet Scotty um sprinkled a few of the bets top 10 top five we’re going to talk about we’re going to talk about the in a second well we could start with you for those after so just keep going but excited love Scotty he’s playing out of his mind obviously so had to had to sprinkle Scotty in there but my pick to win this Mario it’s gonna be Rory maroy and I’ll tell you why 10 10 years ago he won this y but something happened 3 days before divorce no broke up with his girlfriend 10 years ago and Rory decided to go on an absolute run yeah tearing it up Rory just got divorced that’s what I’m saying he just got divorced just got divorced he did just get divorced 10 years you see him at the range what you see him at the range today hit drivers absolutely stand like just juicing it up yeah no I like it the signs are there every like divorc Rory I mean he’s going to look like is it going to be like tiger on Sunday I me he’s yeah Rory Rory Rory everything well let’s just jump right into the props while you’re on it um bang best prop bets you’re seen you already named a few for Scotty yeah I I did the same bets for Rory and Scotty so I’d bet top five for both of them um for Rory was plus 175 Scotty sheffler minus 115 yeah uh top 10 Scotty’s minus 185 Rory minus 120 and then first round leader sprinkled a little bit Scotty was plus 12200 which he would have been first round leader in the Masters if Bryson didn’t go crazy so I feel like it’s not a terrible bet just a Sprinkle anything he a great and then yeah and then Rory first round leader plus 1750 I’m just he all in on Scot and Rory and they finished one two Mario not bad and then and then obviously I bet each of them to win out right I like it mik yeah let’s get cooking all right so oh gosh I was doing some some research I was in the lab and I was thinking I was hey what do I like the most in life not not the most what do I sometimes enjoy if they deserve it praying on people’s downfall oh oh he does you love to do that like Miss the cut who’s going to miss the cut exactly gz first out shout out T Grizzly pray my picks to miss the cut because I want them to lose who do we got Mike this is awesome first one Cameron’s Mr gu Taylor G I like Taylor I don’t know who the he is but he sucks he’s really good no he sucks you’re right his odds Miss cut and guess what his odds to miss cut plus 125 cuz he sucked so bad plus 125 got bre out of your mouth whoa that’s inappropriate that’s a family show family friendly family show second second I don’t like this guy’s name I I think he’s stupid um his name is sunj m no plus 150 this guy’s a loser he’s the most Korean I’ve ever met hold on you’re not even let me let me let me uh this guy sucks he’s not a winner he’s never won anything and he’s not going to win today so he’s going to probably get out of the cut yeah uh and last but not least Al to miss the cut Tommy Fleetwood plus 225 cut himself juice on that I might all of them to make the cut you will lose all of your money they’re all missing the cut actually uh but yeah I don’t I don’t know why this guy has a cool name but he’s a loser he’s probably going to lose yeah well whatever and uh I’ll go through the last part quickly but top 10 walking Neiman plus 300 and top 10 Xander Shuley at plus 150 wait wait I didn’t hear either say either one Walkin Neeman that’s how it is that’s correct no no plus 300 yeah do the next one and then Xander Shuley shout out Xander shule shout out chufle Shu he’s a local guy too cfor sha well you know what would have been closer was cha which is actually how it’s pronounced but that was close all right well plus 150 I think or like Xander yeah Xander shle and last last but not least my favorite my favorite prop of the whole thing y top Asian and this is no way that’s I swear American Top swear to God this is this is my pick JM sew Kim yes love plus 450 see is a legend dude that guy’s on an Absol no I love SE those are my problems those are my problems so why do you I mean that’s so weird I feel like the top Asian you’re going to be kind of locked in for oh yeah those are my people yeah you’re feeling Korean Japanese except for sun JM yeah okay no no no that guy has a stupid name yeah all right I’ll just say a couple of the I like these aren’t super except for one but I think these are all kind of free John ROM top 30s minus 140 top 30 top 30 minus 140 um I feel like that’s extremely free based on how he’s playing I know he had a bad um last month or whatever but I I think that’s literally stealing money from a baby um top 30 Jordan Speed plus 120 Ty knows all about that that’s if he’s in the mix Jordan spe like I think there’s a decent chance Jordan Speed can start hot and then like make the cut and be in that top like 12 and I feel like 30 is a big enough wiggle room that’s fine um Scotty top five is a must bet every tournament minus 125 you’re laying money you don’t care you just cash it he’s going to be one two three that’s fine um and then one that I just this just spoke to me was just a random line will zalatoris top 10 after round one plus 800 I feel like he starts hot very cool I don’t know why just a gut feel not for the tournament just for round one you get so yeah that’s that’s my those are my props uh starting off with the pick I’ll pick every tournament for the rest of my life Scotty sheffler top five I got a minus 115 so juice juice juice I’m also hammering because I think this is again free top 10 for minus 185 for Scott sheffler minus 185 is a fantastic Bett like that’s not people think that’s like you’re losing that’s perfect I’ll take that every day 185 Grand walk away with 100 grand every time I know easy absolute yeah go buy yourself a new pair of sh oh my God free really nice I mean maybe then put it on black in Vegas or something like make it that’s you down payment on the house whatever floats your boat probably put on black yeah and then if he hits that dou down two down payment no moved to bakro player bank that’s a great Point play Bank Great oh yeah back to back to the picks um when I’m Clark I have top 20 I saw plus 155 I think that is the most joke of a bet ever he is unbelievable golfer if he could just get off the te he’ll be I mean this is going to be the freest bet ever he has like four top 10 finishes this year I have no he’s one of the best golfers when he’s hot he was absolutely hot fell off a little bit I love wi Clark um Bryson to shamboo I already have him to win top 20 plus 115 again another pick if I have him to win I’m going to bet plus money at top 20 get a little wiggle room there I love it absolutely also a guy Mr mediocre Mr average um Xander how do I say this sha chule top 10 I got a plus 135 um I just think it’s free he’s pretty he’s pretty like even golfer I think top 10 he’ll get in there pretty especially at a hard course um and then I have Cameron Smith as top Australian at plus 215 the only person there my there’s only like Jason day and minu Lee theoretically and I just think Jason day has not been playing good enough Golf and I think Cameron Smith just clears him easily and then last sprinkle murder have fun with sprink murder sprinkle murder I might put 20 I might put 200 I don’t know how I feel about it Victor havin first round leader plus 4500 I love that 45 to1 I’m pretty good at first- round leaders not going to lie it’s Hit or Miss but I’ve been hitting lately and let’s go nuts 45 to one I love that tay I have a feeling you have a few yeah uh we definitely have a few so we’re going to start with our top fives and then move down the list so our for our top fives obviously Scotty everyone else talked about it Lifeline it’s criminal that it’s almost even money why don’t we just collect all like put a fund together and put it on it we every time and hits every time I object to it I want to miss all right and then uh uh top five as well I have Rory plus 180 if he’s not I have him to win and if he’s not going to win he’s going to be in contention top five that’s just easy money um and then Michael I have Cameron Smith at plus 850 to get top five um such spice on a guy that is a great great great major championship player he’s very consistent um he’s just an such an all-around good player whenever he get if he can get the ball on the green he’s one of the best Putters in the entire world um I just I love and I think the odds dropped off way too much for top 10 so that’s why I chose top five a lot of juice that’s the juiciest pick I’m going to give out we’re going to move to our top 10 bets in uh Xander shafley chule chuley uh Xander schafle plus 140 he is an absolute top 10 machine I mean this guy’s going to be on the first page of the leaderboard every single second of every single day he’s not going to win but he’ll be on the P first page of the leaderboard not to win he is probably the most consistent golfer if not you know I he’s probably the third best golfer in the world at least on the PJ tour right now um consistent non he’s the most consistent on tour other than Scotty eighth place every time um yeah he’s Mr he’s Mr automatic I mean Absolut from he’s 100% from the field love it just top 10 love that uh my winner lvic aberg plus 210 to get top 10 um he already has nine top 10 finishes in his young PGA Tour career he’s been on the PGA tour about two years played a couple random events but two years nine top 10 finishes guy he’s very impressive um I I absolutely love this um and he he’s already proven that he can contend in Majors uh Bryson Des Shambo at plus 270 three of his SI three of his last six so major championships have been top 10 finishes okay three of his last six major championships I love it um and not to mention this course fits the way that he plays like we talked earlier plays long he going to do one the driving distance is huge Augusta National did not fit the way he plays golf at all this golf course 100% does so I would be surprised if Bryson didn’t play well um this should fit his eye beautifully so love Bryson at plus 2 270 um moving on to top 20 bets we have ludvig don’t have anything to say about that even money even money top 20 I’m everything winner 510 leig uh Bryson same as Ryan I I got him at plus 130 juice yeah he I’m surprised this is actually plus money honestly um we too and then about to hammer that missed the cut no kiding I’m kidding this is my this is probably one of my very very very favorite bets uh T Hatton plus 200 for top 20 he’s he only missed three cuts of his last 40 event starts on the PJ tour three Cuts Mike’s got a bed miss the cut now so over the last three years 24 of those 40 starts were top 20 finishes 2 four of 40 That’s OB obviously over 50% five of his last eight major championships that he’s played in this prop has cashed plus plus 200 aka Mr consistent I love I love a guy that’s going to make the cut automatically makes if he makes the cut a chance yeah you have a chance at it no matter what I absolutely love this too much value plus 200 T Hatton um this one hurt me a little bit uh because I absolutely hate this man more than life and I but it’s it is incredibly disrespectful Patrick Reed top 40 oh God at plus 160 n missed the cut sorry 25 of his last 35 Majors have been a top 40 finish 25 of his last 35 he’s cat this bet that’s 71% hit rate how many of those were front loaded in not the last two or three years not that much you’d be surprised no this loser tearing a this weekend oh Mike’s calling for the injury can you bet that no it’s praying on his downfall I bet him to miss the cut every year at the Masters uh I think he got top 15 at the Masters this year sharp did selfed Captain I think anyway hate you but top 40 this disrespectful also if he misses the cut I will hate him and never bet on him for the rest of my life yeah it’s a win-win it’s a win-win it’s a life hedge love life hedge love life hedge and then my favorite of the week is um someone missed the cut someone missed the cut yeah hey it is someone at this table is going to be very disappointed oh can’t Jordan spe what are the odds on that Jordan Speed plus 220 oh my God I’m adding it I’m adding it to my list oh my God y I’m adding it to my list there’s a 0% chance he missed oh my God I’m sure yeah I’m still uh last week last week was his best driving performance of the whole year and he was playing okay but he’s clearly dealing with a little bit of a wrist injury oh yeah um oh yeah if he if he’s going to have to hack the ball out of the rough if he doesn’t drive the ball perfectly this tournament it’s going to be really rough for him I wouldn’t I would not be surprised to see him miss the cut I think he’s going to if he could he could struggle very easily with a dealing with a little bit of wrist injury I mean obviously we know major championship rough is just Next Level he just loves the water the guy loves water he does uh so sorry Tyler but sorry Jordan Jord that’s your favorite bet huh plus 220 favorite bet of the week favorite bet of the week uh plus no I think it’s just you know I got a little favor bets but that’s fine yeah anyway Jord spe miss the cut that’s my whole card and before we leave does anyone have any live bets or scenarios that they’re looking out for to bet because that was really sharp in the Masters Scotty was like in first place double bogey we caught him at like plus 310 and then immediately like 10 minutes later Scotty double Bogies again I’ll hammer it that’s I’m saying so for me at least I said if Scotty ever gets outside plus 800 no matter what bet it um I think there’s a chance could happen he’s plus 400 he starts slow or something happens you could see those odds move you can ever see him plus 800 or better bet it doesn’t matter what the score is and um I’m betting the leader after round two to win outright I think the lead I think the weekend is pretty like scratch I think the weekend is like pretty stable I think there’ll be a lot of movement between round one and round two but whoever that is I’m just adding it to my card so whoever the leader is whatever odds they are after round two I’m betting that I don’t know if anyone else has any I mean I’m betting Scotty Sheffer at any plus money at any time as soon as throughout the he finishes 18 he’s in he’s in the late slate of tea time so like if someone does go nuts in the morning his odds before he even tees off could go up and especially if he doesn’t have a great round run as soon as he finishes 18 I’m betting any number that’s plus 20 doesn’t matter if it’s plus 105 I’m bet he Bogies the first hole just hold no no no I mean it’s just Scotty shuffler it’s just free you do it every single week and it’s the freest thing you ever do y but um anyone else just we’re thinking Scotty Scotty Scott and Rory or if you live bet Jordan SM that missed the cutout out Jordan Speed cam Smith there you have it I mean you got the PGA Championship we love ourselves some golf we’ll definitely be doing some golf Vlogs oh yeah as the get back the Maj continue to roll we have a fun idea for a vlog you’ll guys see you’ll see in future episodes um I think
