this was last night thoughts and prayers with his family and loved ones let’s all take a second say something nice to someone we love someone we don’t know we never know what they are going through and Harry after the victory today um addressing the crowds at that corn fairy Tour event here that is I kind of thought about this moment and how to maybe remember Grayson and it just kind of dawned on me um that I would just everybody that’s here one thank you so much for receiving me and congratulating me and cheering me on throughout but this golf stuff and the result it’s lovely sure but it’s just not it’s not that meaningful um one thing that I kind of thought of last night especially laying in bed is I would challenge everybody here and I’m going to do this myself as well each day say something nice to some someone you love and also make it a point to say something nice to somebody you do not even know the world is a very difficult place thank you the world is difficult and only getting more difficult I’ve been blessed with great parents and a great support system and I haven’t had other than some frustration at time any battles mentally but Lord knows how many people do and it’s only ever increasing so if we can everybody here could be a difference the difference brighten up somebody’s day it it could mean the world Harry higs in memory of this guy Grayson Murray and we’ll have a little bit more to say about Grayson when we come back

  1. Amen to that 🙏 Well said Harry. One person at a time we can make the world a better place. Even if in small steps, that may not seem significant. Less tribalism and politics and you vs them.

  2. I wish more people thought like this and lived like Harry's words. I have lost a close friend that I loved to suicide. He was 10 years younger than myself and I always felt like he was the younger brother that I never had. Grayson's loss this weekend just brought back so many sad and great memories of my friend. Shalom

  3. Suicide is devastating for the "survivors". I was scheduled to cover the 2009 EDS Byron Nelson Championship as a still photographer. I had performed this task numerous times before, however on the morning of the Pro-Am my 68 yr old father took his own life. The 15th anniversary just recently passed on May 20th. The emptiness sometimes remains, the
" what ifs ", etc. I have had lots of prayers, my beautiful wife's undeniable support, and the mercy of God (which is new every morning)….May God grant the entire Murray family the peace that passeth understanding during the days, weeks and years to come. One particular song that helped me was Rascal Flats "Why"…Also please stop the stigma of mental health… participate in an annual AFSP walk in someone's memory. This is another great way to keep their memory alive and helps in the healing process.

  4. Well said, but I recall seeing Harry Higgs being quite discouraged and emotional during his golf struggles. With good parents and winning back to back on the Korn Ferry Tour, it is easy to make a speech like this. This was the greatest two weeks of his golfing life by far. Can he make this speech after missing 5 cuts in a row and not having a clear path to ever play on the PGA tour? We will never know.

  5. Lmao at the rich prick in the background going "wooo."
Fuck you, golfers. If you were decent people, you wouldn't be soaking up undeserved millions for your stupid little hobby.
Do you realise how many lives Gayson's money could save? It's in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. Dude was a jerk. I have zero sympathy for rich people. Why? Because when i tried to kill myself money was 90% of the problem

  6. "We had the same swing coach when we were 8," chimed in a blueblood clone of a pga tour player. Maybe therein lies the problem. I mean, look at this hack. Big deal, he won one tournament out of the 200 or 300 he has competed in. Without his parents money, he'd be digging ditches.
