him in the future taking out of course the HSBC bwf World Tour finals trophy that’s been on show all week so looking at the order of play for these final five matches we’re kicking it off with the women’s doubles number one seeds Rin iwanaga and K nakanishi taking on liim and sun shun Chan the number six seeds both those pairs best pairs of the week meeting up in the final that’ll be followed by the women’s singles since a repeat of the 2022 Singapore open Final that was won by cindu the number five seed taking on wangii binton Asia Champion mixed doubles will follow that it’s a fairy tale story for the newly words goat and sioban Li Jamie one of the two Malaysian Representatives on Final Sunday and of course they’re looking for a great wedding gift by winning the title from rivaldi and mentari the number three seeds men’s doubles will follow that Jin Yong and nasung from Korea the new pairing that’s a Aron Chan soik taking on Kim asro and Anders Ros and the number two seeds before it is a repeat of that epic 2021 all England final Victor axelon the number one seed back in Action into his first final taking on liy J Who’s now made it two consecutive finals on the HSBC pwf World Tour after his success in Thailand last week so looking at the women’s doubles draw that’s how we broke it down from the quarters all the way to final as you can see two comprehensive victories for iwanaga nakanishi and Lee and shin in the semi-finals over the STA sisters and tan and tinner and looking at the race to the finals as of now crasto pppa with some good results up at the top youa nakanishi as you can see in second spot four pairs from China in the top 10 which is wonderful a lot of more bment to be played of course throughout the year but that’s shaping up nicely Ki Japan and you can tell from the cheers that there are a lot of fans here ready at the axat arena for this first match of final Sunday ever stable ever Alliance ever competitive yanaga and nakanishi the world number 12 pair the number one seed here this week your opponent Le well these two were in absolutely RedHot form yesterday and their opponents P tal and Tina actually admitted in their postmatch interview that they were quote schooled by this Korean pair they are the ex partners of the world number two pairing of big hanana leis so he each of the ladies has played with each of those ladies but now coming into their own the world number 26 paack great run this week lie Lim especially has been on fire never met before these two pairs that’s going to be about which of these pairs can also the significant player in each of their semi-finals it’ll be interesting to see are they going to move forward 25-year-old Rin iwanaga from Yamaguchi in Japan peing at 12 always good to have being the top of your game ke nakanishi 28 years old now 5’7 silver medalist of the Asian championships that was in Manila 2022 and together they’ve picked up three titles Tai International 2023 Spain Masters this year this is how they got to the final suan in in 28 minutes sun and Yu in 53 minutes and the St over sisters in 48 minutes Flawless haven’t dropped a game all week we do like that stat between them so far has been the speed of play and that’s big pass point for the South Koreans that have been moving around so quickly getting to these great shooting angles that is watched safely by changed complexion this match but finally after tying it up late in the second game iaga and akanishi look to have a little bit more control and they’re the ones now defending a lead [Applause] and steep from nakanishi in fact that Wasaga Servo I think they may have it seven they haven’t really had to adapt all week but they have now far more frequent scoring pattern for them worrying times for lean chin again 1411 up in the second game [Applause] beautifully dropped in by nakanishi well the first two mid game intervals fell to the South Koreans and the third one just seems to be assured into a fascinating matchup again she drops it in and it’s 119 at the break game ends 20 seconds 20 seconds P turn your chair 119 pach P to your chair please players coach well it’s all getting a little bit unruly now as the coaches seem to be overstaying that time limit so this is it the conclusion to an epic match 77 minutes on the clock so far but somebody has to take this title home and we’re to find out which of these pairs it’s going to be close enough [Applause] [Music] one game each 119 nice this gu dropped from the back from nakanishi a beautiful Drop in but absolutely out Fox chin no idea that was coming 129 right now it’s almost a lesson in how to close out games from the Japanese pair nice touch by the ulim [Applause] inaga that time caugh out the well I did say at the start of the match it was nakanishi on the Japanese pair that was the engine of change and she really has been again here fired up a partner catching out liim and shin just a bit too flat at the back leaving way too much space up the front to the thank you four points back how quickly things can change sh Le please get ready Shin you’re receiving play [Applause] [Applause] service over that’s a good start 103 bit late there nakanishi [Applause] St in service over it’s turning against him 14 10 and it’s all smiles Japanese camp [Applause] [Applause] service over there 114 well the next three points really are going to tell a story it goes three points to the Japanese pair and they’re at 17 three points to lean Shin they tied it up oh couldn’t allow that to even risk going out great great touch in by Shin that’s one of those points she took a risk well on the right side by keeping that in okay thank you thank you well that’s one of the three points that they absolutely need in the bag and that might just [Music] be now I think it’s just a mop down nakanishi’s back on her feet both pairs a little bit guilty of delaying play [Music] this serve it’s deep okay mistake from the ULM and that reestablishes the three-point lead 15 12 things turning against the South Korean the K are just aching for another Point that’s in that’s a risky shot considering where nakanishi was too close to call play wait okay okay [Applause] play oh nice into the corner Shin didn’t really have enough traction on that to finish it off so Play Still Alive oh she’s managed to get over too late 163 well how cruel it is you can lay your opponent out on the floor a big thumbs up and a smile yep thank you the current situation at 85 [Music] minutes yep as I said both of these pairs had 48 48 minutes matches yesterday in the semi-finals and this one already thank you is about to beat the longest that we had yesterday that was 88 Minutes between cindu and shin F shin and kamasa play Robertson trying to keep this moving as quickly as possible but it is turning into a physical battle now go wonderful defending from Lee ulim that’s unbelievable service over 1 14 16 2 three and then that for a fourth [Applause] what a point that was nice from Shin still comes back good defense by nakanishi Naga St out no it’s called in no challenge service over 17 certainly left it late in the third 1714 play [Music] [Applause] oh late take still EU Lim keeps it alive but it’s come out with Mishi on the attack oh what a time for a bad read and she knows it 14 okay thank you players to court please thank again creep forward they’re two points away from the title now remember their opponents were three points away from the title in the second game they’ve had a lot to deal with it’s been a very tough day at the office for lean chin practically put away by Lee service over and they live to fight on 17 19 Ren play [Applause] [Applause] fake out by Shin Le still leading the [Applause] attack just that last shot that drops so go three match points after 94 minutes and they’re going the way of iwanaga and Naki 20 match points 17 play Shin Shin Play theyve Stuck in there oh it’s a card shinan
