This is a super simple driver drill that will make you hit the driver SO MUCH BETTER. I can’t tell you how many clients have used this drill and have seen so much improvement and taken it straight to the golf course! In this video we are looking at driver setup, to make sure the driver set up is right. Shoulders, alignement, where you hit the golf ball. All of these things are so important and contribute to you hitting the golf ball longer, hitting the golf ball further, hitting the golf ball straight down the fairway. I know these areas. are where a lot of golfers go WRONG.

now if you need some serious driver help like Pollock here saying Alex I need some serious driver help help me well I’ve got just the hack for you to use this summer and I’m going to be honest with you there’s not many tips in golf where you can take them straight out on the golf course and they work pretty instantly but I find with all my students this is one of them for this drill you are going to need a Sharpie and if you are playing golf you should have one of these any anyway so you can mark your golf ball but you’ve got to do it this way now now don’t worry for one second I’m not saying you need to hit a volley ball like this it just really helps me explain to you exactly what I mean and if we look closely we’ve got the slice side of the golf ball the draw side of the ball and this bit here imagine it right we’re trying to hit it here so we get that spin that spin you hit on the outside you’re going to get that spin let me go into this in a little bit more detail but honestly this hack P it works seriously good so let’s look at this down at the ball so we’re all forever told to hit in to out but this is the way you got to imagine it imagine this being your center line all the way to Target so many of us work outside hit the top right of the go ball the slice side creating the ball to move poof in that direction so we know we’re driver we want to hit from the inside check so we need to feel as that we’re focusing on this side so we also need to focus on hitting up so you’ll notice I’ve got a little star in the bottom left hand quadrant this being 1 2 3 and four I’m really trying to feel as I’m hitting on that little star and that’s my focus with a slightly closed face so that would then create this curvature this curvature which is our draw see let me just sort of paint this picture a little bit more for you out here again let me just line that ball up slightly better we’ve got our slice outside quadrant that’s been on the golf ball now we’re going to focus on hitting that inside quadrant with a closed face and that’s the way I honestly think well I don’t think I know for a fact because I’ve used it with my students you can use this hack to have a lasting impression on your driver that works pretty much instantly so hopefully you can see with that big ball the theory that I’m working to let me show you how you can line your golf ball up and Mark your golf ball out on the golf course right now if you’re going out tomorrow please please do this so if I just replicate what we had on the volleyball here on actual golf ball this is something like you could create on your ball yeah you could lose the draw and the S here for draw and SL ice but you could literally create something like this and I would definitely recommend a hack doing that if I draw on here exactly how I would mark it up based on our Theory I would possibly get one of those line me up tools of Amazon or wherever but you could just freehand it get a line through there and then I would literally in one of the bottom quadrants just put a little star so let me just show you this this is what I would create have a look at those you have your two versions you’ve got your theory version on the right and then you’ve got your gamer here on the left just honestly copy this the way I describe this works is a little bit like the hammer and the nail analogy right when you’re hammering a nail into the wall are you concentrating on the hammer or are you concentrating on the nail well I’m I’m hoping for the sake of your fingers you’re concentrating on the nail so if you’re concentrating on that inside Point that’s seriously going to help help you hit there it’s going to help you hit more inside and with that sort of star being slightly on the underneath it also helps you hit up as we explained in that theory now there’s one thing that I’ve just forgotten to tell you and this is crucial if you want to hit that draw so grab your gold ball and I would Tee It Up literally like this get it pegged up like this so if we’re hitting in that direction there that’s exactly how I would be pegging it up so you got that real draw Focus point on the underneath to hit up and on the inside of the golf ball so then when I walk into this ball there’s literally couple of things I’ve got to be able to do look at this here I’ve got to be able to see the star so that encourages a little bit of shoulder tilt it also encourages me to pin that shoulder back because now I can see that dot if I’m here shoulder out there’s no way I can see that star or dot I’m in I’m feeling there I’m able to access that dot and star so I mentioned this feeling of having a closed face and hitting from the inside now I literally cheat when I do this it feels like cheating so I hold my club up and let’s say that square like that right Leading Edge is straight up and down I slightly close it only a few degrees and then I place my hands on so now I’ve got a closed face relative to where I’m swinging so you walk in you get your ball position you get your chance to see the dot so we encourage the shoulder back and the shoulder tilt hitting up hitting inside I hold it up slightly close it place my hands on now I’ve got an inside path Focus point and a close face to allow me to hit that draw let me just take you back to that theory but first let me show you this ball flight right look at that shape and on the 13th here at mom Hall it requires that High baby draw all day day long this hack is the easiest hack you’ll ever have this summer you know what I’d say it does it makes you relax into your golf shot because all you’re focusing on is seeing the dot at a dress closing the face and trying to hit the dot you’re thinking can it be that simple well this is why it’s that simple so if I go through my full routine I see the dot I pin the shoulder back close the face and put my grip on look if I swing now and close my face through what spin am I starting to put on the ball even just pushing that there you can see how it would create that spin that right to left and think of a plane right we going to hit the draw we’ve got to tilt our wings to the left so doing that again if I’m hitting from this inside point with a closed face our point of contact creates this spin on the golf ball this hack is one that I need you to take to the course right now and you know what I can’t wait for you to tell me Alex thank you for saving my driving this summer you’re going to have freedom you’re going to have draw shots and I think you have the best summer of driving
