when it comes to the somewhat confusing world of golf balls trying to find out what golf ball is right for you is a tough question some things that you could consider when buying your golf balls for your game let’s talk the technical first you could think about launch some of the balls if we take the pro1x and the prov1 and amongst all the other manufacturers as well you’re going to find slightly different launch characteristics between those two balls now where they will be very small like you’re going to struggle to eyeball those differences over time there is a measure difference that might make a tiny bit of difference to how you play if you’re a low launcher you’ll go for the higher launching one those kind of ideas that’s a small very better players decision but it’s something that you might see spin huge one when you come down in this range price you’re going to get less spin than you do up at this range so if you’re looking for that inter green control wonder how they get that ball to stop on the greens like you see on the Telly or even it’s spinning back they’re using premium balls so in any manufact if you go up to the top end of golf balls you’re going to get more of that green side Spin and control than you are down at the bottom end feel so something like the soft feel from shrix it feels soft some people dial into that feel where something like the Prov one or Prov 1 x might have a slightly more clippy feel than you’re going to get again with any of the brands they all have a version of soft and Fir feeling golf ball that’s dialing into your personal preference personally I wouldn’t get too addicted to soft feeling it would be my advice because it doesn’t really do anything in the performance even though it feels soft that doesn’t mean it’s going to land any softer if you want that you’re going to have to go at the top end of all the manufacturers golf balls to get that premium ball alignment AIDS obviously we get alignment AIDS Callaway huge on alignment Aid so this one is the 360 fade that has this alignment on the golf ball you’ve got the tp5 pick that has this very interesting pattern allowing you to line up all manufacturers have some version of a line or lineup bade nowadays on most of their golf balls some just much more definite than other tricks and do a divide literally it’s two halves the balls different colors on either half of the golf ball so if alignment Aid is what you’re after you can do that at almost any price point now so you can be top end or come down to the lower end so that is an option for you and finally the big one for me I think is price if you are shedding peace if you are losing golf balls all great and good everyone’s saying let’s be up at the top end which would be my advice as well these are the better golf balls in all the manufacturers so trixon Callaway Wilson Taylor Maiden whoever they make a top end golf ball that will compete with this one but they’re expensive and if you’re losing them a lot and you don’t notice that difference when it lands on the green cuz your ball’s coming in much shallower because you’re hting from further out like most average golfers me personally yeah I would be in that middle range the bottom when you get down the cheap golf balls they’re fine you can lose them you are going to sacrifice some uh um performance I would stay much more around that middle range of price personally cuz you get a bit of the both or or The Best of Both Worlds from those golf balls it’s a confusing world but hopefully that gives you more of an idea of what to look for when it comes to the next golf ball you teared up with
