Connor Bedard got riled up over this

The Chicago Blackhawks suffered a 4-0 defeat to the Anaheim Ducks and Connor Bedard was not happy with how some of the calls were made in this game. #hockey #nhl #connorbedard

well Conor badar did not have the happiest night in SoCal so the Chicago Blackhawks looked to build off their recent win against the Ducks where Bard had five points but this game would not get off to a good start as the Hawks Trail by two in the second and then there was this interesting sequence that involved Conor Bard and Mason McTavish now to provide some context Bard and McTavish have been going at it for much of this game but as McTavish heads North here bard pounds him for the puck and he gets called for a hooking penalty a hook he doesn’t like it he’s going right over to Trevor Hansen this frustrates madart a lot because he thinks McTavish did a good cell job to get the call by falling on the ice and it sent Bard to the simin and the Ducks to the pp where they didn’t score but almost did something worse to Bard as they scored right when he came out of the box by using him as a screen colorin with an excellent shot here that solder Bloom couldn’t track and the Ducks had a comfortable three nothing lead in this one things didn’t exactly go better in the third as Bard got sent to the Box again this time for a high stick and then Felino followed him off a rather weak slashing call that had him angry as well as the Ducks would go up two men and cash in off this vrono snip the Ducks would close out a 4 nothing win here at home against the Hawks who got black led by one of the worst teams in the NHL I mean that has to be disappointing I guess this goes to show you that there’s a reason why this team had a 22 game Road losing streak this season despite the boo though that were raining down in Anaheim Bard came out firing in this game and got some looks but no really great a chances to cash in as the Ducks effectively neutralized the rookie star but unfortunately their own rookie star in Leo Carlson suffered a major injury as he went knee on knee with Hawk defenseman blasic here tough to see for such a promising young talent but stuff happens in hockey and you really do wish the best recovery for the young Swedish Center in a play that just looked like a freak accident anyhow the Hawks still have one game where they can write the ship on this California swing against the Sharks and we’ll see if they can put up a better reforms than they did against the Ducks up there over and out

  1. Refs act the same way in similar situations. The reason is Bedard must control his stick he puts in.

  2. Bedard has been way over hyped. He is not McDavid, he is not Mathews, he is not Mario or Sydney either. He has already had his confidence dismantled. A broken jaw is a career changer. I knew he would get hurt and doesn't have the size to be a generational player. Kaner always played the perifery and avoided contact. Bedard not so much, even guys like Lindros the Superman of physical hockey had his career ended with one physical contact. Magic only works if you have the space to wave your wand and Bedard does not respect that because he thinks the big boys in the big league will make space for him. Just my opinion but I stated about 8 weeks before he got rocked that he was going to get hurt, just a feeling I had but he has a tougher hill to climb now because his confidence has been damaged. Great player, don't get me wrong but I don't think he will be generational. More like Gaudrea, or Marner…

  3. It's kind of weird to say the Hawks lost to one of the worst teams in the league when the hawks are complete ass. Bedard is the only player doing anything on that AHL team. Sooner they find some decent players to complement bedard the better. Hopefully, both these teams will have strong futures ahead with the prospect pools at their disposal.

  4. Hey, he's a kid. A very talented kid. He doesn't have to set the world on fire. You haters are just that, haters. Shame on you and your parents

  5. Here's an idea, when you chase a player, don't put your stick in his gut. If he falls, or if it slows the other player down, (in the refs eye)you will get a penalty. McTavish definitely helped. 😂

Don't want this to happen to Bedard, but someone is really going hurt him again.

He is an exciting player to watch.

  6. Lazy defense coming out of box, either block the shot or get out of the way so you’re goalie isn’t screened. Hook or not I think you just can’t put you’re stick in that area anymore or refs will call it.

  7. I'd rather have Michkov and Foerster than Bedard. Michkov is basically the Russian Bedard and Foerster is already a stud. On a team full of young talent, he still has 31 points with 19 goals. 3 behind Bedard. Connor is obviously going to produce more than other rookies because he's the only skill player the Hawks have. He's THE guy. It's not really a team. It's Bedard and some guys that help him get points. LOL.

He is a stud too. But his talent is going to be wasted on Chicago until he's old enough that he either leaves, or, they rig a Cup win for them just to make sure he has one before retirement. They'll do the same for McDavid if they can't get it done on their own.

  8. The fukin' refs let players elbow, board, and interfere with Bedard, but some guy grabs his stick and he gets a penalty. Pathetic.

  9. These nhl refs have been terrible this year seen so many bad calls if you don’t see the play in full don’t call the penalty absolutely horrible ought to be a 4 minute double minor for faking a penalty

  10. This is call referees not doing their job. Just like the call where Connor was pushed into the net and yet Connor was given the penalty for goalie interference.

  11. Seth Jones is a disgrace to the NHL hockey. He is baby himself. He does a lot of stupid things but never one good thing for the team. Yet only Blackhawks will reward him with a contract go figure!
