the problem what about certain unforeseen circumstances injuries or fluctuations in form was this the case with Thomas the season although there are no records of Thomas’ recent injuries the golf icon might have had to deal with some unforeseen circumstances at one of the first events in 2023 the Phoenix Open JT showcased a strong performance finishing fourth with a score of 13 under par unfortunately his performance in the following tournaments only went downhill but things became even worse during the Masters Tournament in April where Thomas experienced a huge setback missing the cut for the first time in8 years at this event it marked the end of a remarkable streak of 12 consecutive Cuts made since July with the Genesis Scottish open being his last Mist cut despite this regain his form and returned home after missing the cut again thoughts I can hear them but it’s clear that this has not been Justin Thomas’s year at the end of the season JT went for the FedEx Cup playoffs hoping things would turn out better however the opposite happened as Thomas fell short in qualifying for the FedEx Cup his quest for a spot in the top 70 of the FedEx Cup standings reached its climax on Sunday at the Windham Championship despite putting all his energy into a lastminute push the two-time major Champion couldn’t secure the spot following the end of the game Thomas turned
