looking at some of the action from earlier Ashley bigh with her fourth at the par 510 yeah drove it drove it into trouble but watch this this looks like a birdie all the way what a shot she’ll defend the title coming up in a couple of weeks down in Atlantic City ARA Janar on her fourth hole of the day the 13th her third I got a off to a hot start Bird’s at 11 and 12 and would roll that one in for three in a row world number one Nelly Corda had her five tournament win streaks snapped just down the road at upper mon cleair last week her third at the eighth looking to restart that streak two big shots on this part that will take her to four under two under for the day and then area for another this at the 16th 16’s playing much easier today tons of break on that put beautiful roll from Arya a well-placed three-wood off the te to this point where she’s just got a little seven iron in slightly downwind yeah beautiful approach there whole location all the way back center today this playe is one of the hardest holes on the golf course today he only given up seven birdies so far today really nice opportunity for birdie here maybe a little bit of right to left movement in this putt this would be for her third birdie hasn’t played much Morgan well she’s missed a lot of the first part of the season with the thumb injury we didn’t see her until the Chevron Championship you can see her thumb is taped up there the morning wave it was very rainy and wet much easier conditions now and Nelly taking advantage of it two birdies in a row to break back into the Winter Circle so is arage tanagar prolific winter early in her career rear this is her second at 17 this was Nelly ctis third at the 10th short-sided third shot on this par five uphill Li it was kind of a dodgy little lie here’s AR tagar at her ninth of the day the 18th this is such a tough finish he playing as the in toughest hole on the golf course today it’s going to be left in a low area putting up and over a slope drove it in a spot of trouble but recovered well and was able to get on the Green in regulation and make really quite a good par from considering where she drove it yish shura two back after the bog [Music] 11 and an extremely um severe up slope and not much grain to work with h that that was manufactured really nicely that was remarkable really this tough par 4 playing a little bit easier than it was yesterday but it’s one of the best shots you’re going to see in there and when you think back to the Chevron Championship these were the putts that she made all week long not to be here on 11 that looked like a pretty good stroke just a maybe a little misre playing it to drop left and it didn’t it’s been a bit easier green to hit today without that strong North Wind that the players faced yesterday full attack Britney out here still playing got AR tanagar tied for second BX is Mo with third at the 13th area made birdie there they both hit good ones in there making the turn over at the first area Janar it’s an interesting little par three here dog leg right Creek that runs along the right side that’s area here’s Moria if you ever make it over here in time for the to call a few shots a good pairing for both Gabby and Arya here kind of beating off each other the way that they’re playing today and to the 14th to tie the lead a TI tikun putting up and over a little Ridge and that was always going to be a bit challenging to get the speed dialed in just right I think okay we mentioned uh yeah sorry go ahead no I think she aired on the proper side coming up just a little short we mentioned Ash tally winning the uh women’s Amer four ball this one looks like it might want to pull just a little bit right due to the way the cup is tipped yeah or dead center Alex the [Music] 15th the right side of this Fairway and that’s just a safe sensible shot I mean this is a 410 yd hole see if she could take advantage of this club in her hand she looks like she got ahead of it a little bit not able to be as aggressive as she would have like to be with a pitching wedge a little bit uphill initially then quite a bit downhill I could see her being a little tentative with this unfortunate to not be able to take advantage of that incredible drive there k but all in all pretty easy par here yeah she might be thinking about that missed wedge shot for a little while or at least we’ll try to sharpen up her next wedge shot and they’re contending here individually titun for birdie at 15 and she is tied for the lead wow three birdies in a four hole [Applause] stretch just running over the ridge is very difficult to get the ball close to the hole today this screen is sort of cut into three segments like having a landscape picture at the bottom and two portrait picks at the top and this one’s top right where they’ve cut the flag today and this for her will just be a little wedge 108 yards oh boy is she feeling it right now or what 995 105 a per game like we’ve seen it in the last couple months and hit a good wedge in there going hard after this little gap wedge well was right over the flag I think she thought that would spin back a little that’s going to leave a quick putt with a lot of break to [Applause] it what a day for ataya six under right there again Morgan and that has made all the difference and made her look so much more comfortable again with her full swing at the six Gabby Ruffles third yeah that from 118 just couldn’t get there after the drive so played safe and she’ll still have a chance for birdie he the good news the ran down into a decent lie got a lot of green to work with but it’s all downhill to the hole and that is looking really good for Speed she got away with that one that came out kind of funny that wasn’t the shot that I would have anticipated she would have played there ruffles for birdie at six yeah downhill left to right and a good hard working birdie that from the Australia parut for area Janar to stay tied for third this has been a wild hole for area all in all a five on the card finishing up at the 18th naren on top 50 remember not 65 in ties as usual but top 50 make the cut so at the moment it’s one under she hit it so far down there just a nine iron she went after that hitting it really high trying to get it drop a little more to the right yeah that’s that safe place that we’ve seen most players end up not wanting to be too aggressive even with that good angle tremendous consistency k fill it up wow seven under today nine under for the tournament and how about this run fell back a bit but won it in the end area at seven yeah driven it down the right side good angle to this flag from 122 yds and it’s a good result yeah really clean there area at s he managed to get it onto this little shelf here and so much easier in putting an impressive performance Nelly out of position at 18 yeah going at it with a seven iron how about that Morgan just give her some kind of swing and a shot and she’s going to often do something remarkable with it really nice Rhythm to her swing right now just trying to saw something off there get it falling to the right maybe took a fraction too much off of it here is Allison Lee at the 16th no more than 25 ft wow another fabulous stroke that looked good the whole way still me 22 putts yesterday 25 putts today Nelly for birdie what will she take away from this round Morgan you know she played okay today she had certainly had some really good opportunities for birdie was a tough day yesterday they weren’t um too thrilled walking off the golf course those conditions yesterday but five birdies I mean that’s some solid golf around here a couple squirly shots like that t-shot on the last but she’s right in a good position again solheim Cup team she’s ninth in the standings at the moment top seven qualify on points SE young Kim second at 17 oh nearly perfect played safe out to here so still quite a long way for her third shot into a par five considering how much length she has in her game and this one left of the flag it should be just fine that’ll be okay but not able to really take advantage yeah and that flag is tucked up on the back tier today I sure will be confident of knocking this one close oh that’s just so good in terms of distance wonderful shot sometimes the snapping works we all think it does difficulty is just getting that pace right there’s a real about 5 yd short of the flag it’s got to have enough Pace on it to get up that Ridge and it’s not even close Morgan what was that going to be straight down the hill very difficult to get that one close just a tough leave Tom first tough leave off the te so this coming up the slope I there she didn’t pay too much attention to hedin’s part of was almost though she knew
