yes these fights only come around once in a blue moon a grudge match of Epic Proportions with completely unfinished business the first chapter ended with the most controversial scorecard seen in boxing for a very long time and it gave them no other option they had to run it back baby but before we look forward to the score being settled let me get you up to date with The Madness of this juicy matchup the Fiasco that has unfolded to this very Point yes this is the story of Taylor versus catch roll St rapping L me that was quite Eerie wasn’t it well I just can’t help it people I get on movie trailer voice when I’m double excited and this fight has got my nipples Ultra erect He’s Got The Vibes of hey bellu the politics of Frampton quick and the controversy of frch groves but that’s not all it’s also got Sam Jones in it as well blood H look out if at any point you feel like bursting your eardrums I’ll Samy won the first fight he’ll smash him toing bits for you yes he’s absolutely brilliant Sammy boy and he started this build up as he means to go on I’ve always given him his props he’s a fantastic fantastic fighter that did things the hard way in boxing he got fast tracked very early on but ultimately he should have three defeats on his record Regis PR beat him jack definitely beat him and tiimo Lopez most certainly beat him terrific so yes we’ve had the presses we’ve had a cheeky slap in there as well bsh there we are and we’ve also had the needle put you on your your last youash you still got beat cuz you done [ __ ] all the rest of straight I’m to smash you pces so there you go yes L it so all know we’re ready to ramble people but how did we get here what’s the story balamore well let’s rewind a little bit shall we all the way back to uh Sam must have been using on the WBO roster and was ordered as his mandatory but meanwhile back in SEL Scotland The Tartan tornado was making his own history defeating Ivan banic for his first world title the ibf belt this was also the semi-final of the world Super Series and the final was made in no time at all just 5 months later in October at the O2 Arena against the very dangerous Regis PR gr that glorious ibf belt was on the line but that wasn’t all also for the taking was the prestigious Muhammad Ali trophy and Derek chisora was bazz him for it mamad Ali trophy nobody gives a [ __ ] about it no more thank you Derek so after a frilling fight a nip and Tuck Battle of heart and determination Josh Taylor emerged as the Victor after the fight he may have looked like he used up all his eyeliner on oneing eye but either way he was now World Super Series champion and Mr catrell looked on with young Taylor now firmly in his future plans however then the old covid kicked us right in the Ghoulies didn’t it yeah that was fun bloody hell no boxing no football Sam bellings but all the toilet ra brilliant good times was it anyway when normality did start to reappear Ramirez chose not to fight catchall in favor of vikor pastel and after scraping by with a majority decision it was finally Jack’s turn at trying to achieve his boxing dreams but everyone said how can’t we have a bit of Joshy facing Ramirez for the Undisputed instead you don’t mind de Jack blo he must have been thinking what’s wrong with me he was smelling his armpits going someone a bon here anyway luckily they did a nice juicy bit of Step Aside money to allow the Undisputed to go ahead along with the promise of his shot at the winner and after The Tartan tornado made history becoming Undisputed cementing his legacy as Scotland’s greatest fighter Jack having bided his time for over a year finally got his chance at glory and the Rivalry we never knew we needed had begun um I can’t see any way that he wins this fight no way you win this fight Jack catell the answer to that I’m going to win there’s several ways that I can win this fight uh I’m going to win this fight no question no doubts no question in my mind no doubt in my mind by who by Ho by turning up to Scotland and be Jack how you going to do that what we what we how you going to do that how you going to do it doesn’t matter how you going to do it beat get in there don’t know punch your head in you don’t know you got to punch my head in yeah not as easy as that is it go back to bed go back to bed yes so this froy little match up was off to a bang go back to bed he said but the jaxter didn’t go Abed instead he got in Taylor’s head see that rhyme there bam like storms the in it ruled by shut up sorry but yes it reminded me of the cool caral Groves triggering fry in their buildup fry being unable to understand why he was being disrespected as a world champion by this smug little Ginger Man Taylor had them fry Vibes and catel held that quiet Grove’s confidence and then it was the way in emphasizing the true dislike both men had for each other it all got double spicy yes here they go love it catch all with the gentless fro grabbing history there blind me it weren’t his most violent moment was it looked more like he was trying to pop a bloody spot however just prior to this it was apparent that Josh looked rather drawn on the scales with Catal looking fresh as a daisy many felt that he didn’t have much time left at this weight there was talks of him moving up to the absolute Mega fights against the crawfords of this world with the life changing money on the line in a way he may have seen this fight is a bit of an inconvenience for him whether that affected the way he trained or anything like that we’ll never know either way he was still expected to do a number on Catal and the man Union was almost written off by The Bookies and the experts but as the first bell rang in the hydro Arena amongst an electric atmosphere of mostly Taylor fans within 30 seconds Jack set the tone of the fight call this a close St battle from C yes it was a bit of an opener for Taylor and Jack’s way of saying a this is not going to be an easy night for you bro and it really was anything but it’s elusive from Jack K look at this first of combination he’s got 2,000 lb here Kell boss the first half of the fight well not according to the bloody judges in the end but if your eyes hading batteries in them it was a complete domination for this segment Jack kept him at range he maintained a distance where Josh could really land and picked him off with great hand speed a flurry of strong and one twos he was locking the Scotsman up when he was in close and Josh had no real answers which led to frustration the rounds then become scrappier but the clear lead was still to catch all and that lead was about to increase Tay in the eth round what about that so for the rest of this round it looked as though the belief was draining away from Taylor and upon sitting on his stool trainer Ben Davidson knew they had a lot to a do Swit on you can’t get dipping down the same way each time you need to commit now you need to glove up and you need to step to him head STS in between he’s starting to build his Pace with behind and this is when he upped his game although still not winning rounds convincingly he was pressuring more and making it very ugly then he received a massive Lifeline in the messy 10th round I’m not taking C I’m looking at but I’m looking out that way point deduction are you kidding me Point deduction in round 10 however unfortunately for Joshy boy it was shortlived doesn’t have to be better than him 100 times just tonight a point deduction is being taken by Marcus McDonald the referee charged against Josh tayor so upon this point deduction Ben told Josh he needed a knockout but as much as he tried Jack was still just too Elusive and it never came then as the final Bell rung the faces of both teams told the overall story team Taylor looking very Glam and very unsure with Team Catal looking absolutely certain they’ done enough it was left to the judge’s scorecards Howard Foster scores the bout 113 112 Caton and John Lewis scores the about 114 111 Taylor Victor Laughlin scores the bout 113 112 for your winner by split [Music] decision and still uh well yeah apparently Jack hadn’t done enough so yes it was a shock to the fans at home and everyone in the arena Avan team Taylor even the Scottish fans booed the result and Jamie Mo’s Ed nearly exploded he Steeps aside done the right thing for boxing stepped aside to allow a unified champion under promise that he would get the opportunity he gets the opportunity he performs like that and beats the champion in his own backyard and gets absolutely robbed the following days the outrage intensified and team Taylor felt the full force of it even though they fought their case the compy Box stats reiterated the backlash as it showed Catal outlanding tailor in every single Department a whopping 47 more total punches 23 more Jabs and 24 more power punches even with the elements such as pressure and forcing the fight it was still difficult to make any case for Josh overall it really did scream that fateful word robbery so then yeah many will agree it was a very confusing decision and ultimately we all underestimated catch roll and he really did prove us all wrong but to be fair it was easy to write him off with the form that Taylor was in cat’s record told us somewhat an inspiring story a close decision against theara Davis who Taylor absolutely destroyed a UD win against Tyrone McKenna and generally no real statement wins to shout about he’d never shown devastating power or any spectacular attributes he was just a solid boxer who after years of grafting had earned his opportunity but clearly we had him pegged all wrong what we never factored him was that this is a man who had six weeks of sparring with Floyd Mayweather for the Pacquiao fight he went straight from there to spar Canelo for the Kirkland fight all at just 22 years old and he was called back by these alltime greats on many occasions because they appreciate ated his ability you could even see some of the Floyd experience in this fight with the Philly shell and the shoulder roll that completely stole Josh’s hard work and he had an excellent game plan that was utilized perfectly on the nights not to mention he showed great heart all the way to the final Bell Jack needed this to show us how good he really was and although he never got the decision he did just that but for Taylor well okay he wasn’t at his very best like we’ve seen maybe that’s because he just wasn’t up for the fight or maybe he was too tight at the weight but maybe it was because catrell didn’t allow him to be in the same vein as Joe Joyce against zil Zang and Joshua against yusk maybe catell has simply got his number we don’t exactly know but ladies and gentlemen there’s only one way to find out finally the rematch baby and yes it is on after the fight Taylor went on to lose to tiimo Lopez in what was an absolute Master Class by the American and Jackie boy produced two solid performances against Foley and lenarz although us fans screen for the rematch during this time the politics simply never allowed it to come to fruition thankfully though now after more than two years here we are Taylor having left Ben Davidson after the first fight is now with Joe MCN in his camp and they will leave no stone unturned this time around fighting to redeem himself writing what is considered a wrong and catro intends to walk away with what he would call another victory over the Scotsman this will be a mouthwatering spectacle and there is only one place to watch it people live on the Zone don’t miss this epic buildup although to be fair it’ll be quite hard to miss it with Sam Jones and Eddie floating about BL you’re going to see more of them than you see your bloody partner but yes it’s going to be worth it and we cannot wait more to come on this epic story very soon but for now ariva Dei and Bosch
