it not problem so Tony tell me about your company or what what’s what’s this company we talking about today perfect perfect so again let me reintroduce myself my name is Tony nun I’m the founder and CEO of anx golfer Pearl and what we do at anx golfer Pearl couple things so one of my goals with this particular organization is to provide a premium golf polo nice for the Affordable Golf at an affordable price for the golfer okay so this is a golf polo that you can wear in your uh board meetings and go straight from the board meeting to the golf course nice nice the second thing that I want to do with this organization is to uh give back to my community okay I give back to my community Through volunteering and focusing in on introducing golf to the young African-American kids that was my next question so this apparel for for minorities it’s it’s it’s an apparel for everyone okay it’s an apparel it’s a it’s a golf apparel company for everyone so any golfer that’s out there we have polos we have hats we rocking right now but it’s affordable so I that’s why I said yes yes a premium a premium uh Polo at an affordable price there we go logo here we got some with logos on the side as well I got some logo left chest logo on the back yeah and then the third thing too uh of the organ is the Legacy piece okay I want to be able to create create an organiz where I could leave to my kids kids something they can be proud of and carry on once I’m going so again it’s it’s a a Polo not a polo but a pearl company that’s going to give you a goodlooking polo quarter Zips hat we have we have the the the visors and we have a variety of colors and different type of polos as well on our website so tell me this so where how long you been golfing and what got you into golf because that’s the question so I’ve been golfing now man for about 20 plus years and I got into golf when I was in the pharmaceutical s industry for a certain organization one of my mates had a golf Alum with some cardiovascular surgeons and asked me to come and I reluctantly went and once I did it I was like oh I I can do this I was like I’m an athlete I can do this hey we never heard no go that’s what I’m saying so you know and that’s the that’s another purpose of the organization too because I didn’t get a golf club in my hand until I was an adult oh wow and so we can put golf clubs in some of these kids hands when they’re when they’re little instead of putting the football or basketball in their hands and then wrong with that baseball different option but put a golf club in her hand uh it may be a sport that they grow up to love and you we may see them playing at the Masters one day you never know right and and thing about golf it’s a lifetime sport you can do that no matter how old you are so that is a good way to keep guys exercising kids whatever premale male that’s good idea man yeah and you got to realize too that about that time when I got into the to the golfing Tiger Woods was at his Peak so tiger WS was out there kicking butt and taking names which made golf even more popular among the African-Americans yes and so you know I kind of selftaught myself my swing I took lessons after that but you know everybody growing up at that particular time want to be like a Tiger Woods but the one thing I can’t tell you uh coach Marty about um golf it’s it’s it teaches you a like a lot of left a lot of lessons a lot of life lessons Okay because there’s ups and downs and never going to be perfect huh never going to be perfect and you got to take it one hole at a time and you have to you have to think your way through the golf course cuz every Golf Course is different you got different hazards you got water hazards you got trees you got bunkers and things like that and you have to play what’s in your bag but you have to think at every particular hold what shot do you have in your bag that’s going to get you to your your final destination that makes sense man so it’s it’s a thinking man Sport and this is challenging and it makes you uh kind of you have some thick skin like that but it’s fun too it’s fun so tell me this where is your company or where you based out of So based out of nashille Tennessee originally again born and raised right here in Lou uhuh uh and moved to Nashville about 8 years ago started the company and been promoting my my my product online mostly yes uh you’re going to see a lot of social media uh uh engagement now that I have a social media person that’s that’s putting my my items out there but I started with myself and my son and he’s part of the organiz and uh again based out of britwood Tennessee nice and we we do our best to make sure when you go to the web website honest golfer pearl.com when you order we try to get your product out same day or the next day to you well you know I’m going be repping it I might something you see I got the fresh hat right now you know what I mean but uh I’m definitely gonna wear your gear man I’m excited about it man I’m I’m proud of you to get that company started because there’s some things that we really don’t think about in the black community a lot it’s like tennis and golf that’s kind of the thing that we shy away from a lot and I’m kind of glad you’re bringing it to the Forefront take advantage of that and help these guys and ladies and men in women both a light to get out here and golf man it’s awesome man yeah and and you know golf is is it can be a very expensive sport you know the equipment that you buy is expensive and it’s constantly going up you know but you know we like to look good out on the golf course and I first start I told myself said I may not be able to play that good but I’m look good when I’m out so I was I was fresh all the way down and I continue to try to you know stay fresh and the guys that that I golf with on a weekly basis and we take our golf trips and stuff like that they all want to stay stay fresh too so I said hey you know what I’m going to create a premium product that they can wear again at an affordable price and then rock my logo logo that’s that’s made by the company and uh you know they wear it probably just like I do so we look good and I I always say if you look good you play good hey this is my to my look right to play right you got to look right to play right absolutely absolutely man hey man I’m GNA give
