building is that correct sir Dr go my tequila last night and I’m I’m paying the consequences so I I don’t have any left right now I almost like that should count I will always pay my debt though so that’s about it I I and by the way it’s getting tighter here as Kyle is getting close to the Mendoza Line back to 500 and the beauty about mattye Betts being in the rearview right now is you know what’s gonna happen Kyle we know it’s coming because Matt step he’s like Steph Curry if there was a four-point line they did they put it in and Steph would be bombing fours I think Matty Betts is just always a week away from flipping the whole script here he takes deep shots so do not kick a in when he’s down I know matd will be back up don’t even say that don’t even say kicking and Madding and the same thing because he’s stressing me the hell out we’ll get to that he’s stresses he stresses me out every week with this it’s something every week where it’s bad for him it’s just bad for him and I’m nervous I’m nervous so so we had a decent week overall here uh again Kyle making up some serious ground uh and Maddie is not far behind in the Looking Glass year so I never count Maddie from making Resurgence and by the way the goal at the end of the year it’s a long it’s a marathon not a Sprint we all want to be in that positive uh EV so we’re we’re heading in that direction and I have no like seriously if you made if you gave me odds right now on where Maddie would end up at the end of 2024 I’m not gonna guarantee anything I’d say he’s definitely in the plus there there’s no doubt in my mind he’ll be there right he will it’ll and it’ll be at my expense somehow just like the Paul just like the last time the Bear Jew was on the card this happened or the time before it was something like that but I already know it’s coming and yeah he’ll he’ll be fine if he can walk after uh this coming weekend so we’re gonna get to why uh Maddie might be in Jeopardy of not being able to walk after this card in a little bit I do want to get to the early prelims here uh for UFC 301 because I know there is one play officially and you’re gonna look ATO here oh you get two plays in the early and and one of them Kyle it feels like a guy you just love to hate and that would be the fade of Jamie Malarkey did I right when I saw the pck mdty I knew exactly where Kyle was going right this is a fade Kyle of Jamie Malarkey correct yeah he’s the worst and and normally I would never take a KO prop at minus 105 but Jam Malarkey would get knocked out by my featherweight son okay my son’s a featherweight at best right my son would drop him easy Jam Malarkey is not there to be hit you look at all his losses knockout round one knockout round two he’s sometimes can hold on to some decision losses or wins against lower level but Mauricio ruffy Huffy he’s making his UFC debut but this dude’s a beast when you watch tape on him and he’s GNA knock out I was tempted to take round one knockout at even better odds but for me I will be very surprised if Jerry Jamie Malarkey doesn’t crumble when he’s I mean the first jab that lands you’ll see Jamie Malarkey start to fold halfway over his body he cannot take a hit this is the Shannon Ross of his he’s the Shannon Ross of his Division I know it’s he not akin to Dave Ross of course not Ain to Dave Ross but uh Mauricio Huffy I got knocking him out I’m taking it at minus 105 Maddie do you like that play because I look as much as we kid about Jamie Mary you can just look at the face and you can see how many times it’s been flattened that nose and it doesn’t at some point you feel like how much damage can the guy take in there yeah I kind of want to take round one two knockout go half a unit on each if I can red button that I I really I I like the play I I some ground to make up so I want to get in plus I gave I gave you guys a winner last week so Kyle dude you started by we I had such a great and it was that was how it started and I had a buddy here like obnoxiously drunk he had been golfing and I had been I’d been making food and stuff and he was so happy and then when Denise got the round two knockout oh my God it was pandemonium here at plus 5 we had pandemonium here at the Bachelor Pad okay so that’s I had Denise on my Twitter card I had Denise round one two and on the BET us show I just took round one of course but I hit I hit plus 750 on round two on my on my real card or on my full card that’s beautiful exactly and so so we’ve got a red button play and because it worked out so well with with with Petrovic last week to begin the card I’m right there with Maddie I’m gonna red button and file Kyle follow Kyle as well so we’re gonna have a double red button here I’m gonna take just the KO prop I’m not going to do the round prop here but Maddie you’re going half unit on round one and half unit on KO prop correct on Huffy I’m gonna go half round half unit round one KO half unit round two KO okay so you’re GNA go the round props for round one round two Kyle I’m GNA follow you on just the KO prop at minus a doll five here and Kyle you’re not getting invested in the in the round prop no I don’t I’m looking I’m trying to look right now to see what uh this looks like what the prices are um let’s see if we go round one Huffy is plus 240 round two is four to one so that’s right you’ll be you’ll be looking for the uh four to one but uh I was close on round one I think the first time Malarkey feels anything from this guy he puts him away in Brazil crowd behind him USC debut but this is not a guy who’s just Dave this is not his first big fight this guy has fought many significant fights he’s in his home he should stomp on Jamie M I’ll be very surprised if this doesn’t end in a knockout all right so again we it worked out for us well last week with with tailing an early play on Matty bets are going to tail Kyle here and again that’s going to be mat’s going to go with the round props one and two Kyle and I are just going to go with KO prop at any point in this fight let’s get to some more preim picks here I’ll go right back to you Kyle for this one because MCC orai against Elvis brener and I I don’t know if you guys saw on social media but brener it looked like a rough weight cut for Elvis in this one but he has entered the building Elvis is going to be able to go Kyle are you counting on the rehydration here even though it looked bad from what we saw on social media yeah and I was kind of surprised because I thought it would be the other way around I thought it would be orabi having the tough weight cut here is a guy who’s fought at 170 several times and I thought he would struggle to make the weight I’m a little concerned about Elvis but here’s the thing about Elvis all right and I’m not a big Elvis guy I’ve already told you guys the thing and I don’t understand the love for Elvis he’s just a song stealing weirdo that gave up and got fat and whatever okay I don’t get it I don’t get it sorry I just don’t get it but Elvis brener is a dude who has routinely won as a four four to one Underdog five to one Underdog he’s pretty well-rounded orabi for me is gonna have cardio issues late this is kind of what I was counting on before this horrible thing on social media but I thought his weight cut would be more difficult now it makes me nervous but to me brener is a better Striker I think he’ll be pretty even on the ground I think he’ll be able to get the takedowns and should have the better cardio which he shown in his three fights in the UFC the he’s won all three as a big Underdog in all three fights I’m taking him by decision here I think these two I think it’s kind of a greasy boring fight but you see the better striking from brener maybe a little bit more control time and I expect Orab to fade in the third round I’m going to take him by decision at plus 550 uh I Maddie how how much do you read into what we see on social media down there in Brazil obviously we see these weight cuts and these images come out and like to to Kyle’s point I think we’ve all been on the I guess right or wrong side of some of these guys that Mis weight uh and then you get the fighter that’s got the advantage and then the guys that do struggle to make weight I wonder if that’s a disadvantage what do you make of what you see from that or is almost like we should ignore it and 24 hours later brener is going to look like Elvis brener that we’re accustomed to yeah I’m not sure honestly the problem with this fight is like I think orbi is the real deal I think he’s really good I think he could I think he could be really physical I think he could be too physical for him for for brener in this fight and the problem is his price tag is just really expensive on the money line I don’t know if he’s be able to get him out of there either I was looking at maybe like around two three or maybe a decision and I’m just like I just couldn’t pull the trigger on anything but this guy can if you watch the tape on him like he can take a punch he he’s very durable he’s very physical um I think I think he’s going to be able to get the takedowns I know Bruner is pretty pretty decent takedown defense and he doesn’t mind being on the ground at the same time so like but I think or is going to be able to take him down and control him I do think there’s going to be a scare like as the fight goes on though like you know he but I think I think orot my gut tells me orot is gonna win a decision but I just stayed away from it Al together I’ll tell you this if it does hit the cards uh that’d be good news for you Kyle right there uh at that nice Hefty price tag at plus 550 I never I never like Ariana lipsky she won that fight right I thought she did I really did think she beat Silva I I know the takedowns were there she didn’t do a ton with them she definitely beat her on the feet and maybe I that was my inside’s like come on give me this plus 375 so I can really peacock around it was this close but one judge gave all three rounds to Silva and I just thought that was ridiculous that’s crazy I I had the over so it was kind of easy to just kind of coast to that decision I did have the decision prop as well but you’re right that’s we we talk about it every week in the show and I think for everybody that’s watching the show this should be food for thought if you think it’s going to hit the cards sometimes you got to hold your breath man cuz the fights that we see might not be the same fight the judges see so handicap that in and I’m very intrigued by the way both you guys see this fight going to the cards here for OAB against brener so uh maybe some way to look there if you want to play some overs uh on that prelim card one other prelim fight that I want to get to again that is an official play for Kyle though gonna go brener uh by decision at plus 550 so really juicy price tag there uh the Jack Shore fight I I is very intriguing to me and I know that Jo Anderson breedo uh we’ve all I think been on the breedo side in recent months here Maddie you’re going to go back to the Joe Anderson side I I have a lot of respect for Jack Shore I stayed away from this fight how do you see it playing out yeah I mean look joers Breo is my guy bro I love this dude like I had so I had him as the last leg of a parlay um to win by submission against against Jonathan Pierce and I thought I was dead in the water and he just pulls that sub out of nowhere and I look at this fight similarly right cuz like I love taking guys that have slick Jiu-Jitsu and submission abilities against a guy that’s going to come forward and put a pace on them and wrestle and that’s the way I look at this fight and honestly on my full card I I I’m taking breedo by uh I’m probably taking him double chance but I have some ground to make up here so I’m going submission it pays better than the knockout and I think it’s the more likely scenario in this specific matchup um I just think he’s too slick on the ground he can find the Subs like in any way possible and even if he’s losing a fight he can come back I don’t like his money line here I think it’s gotten too expensive um I think he could lose minutes in this fight for sure but he finds ways to like pull out these subs and these Knockouts and I’m going to trust that he finds a submission here so I like the number at plus 330 all right plus 330 for Joe Anderson breedo to get it done via sub and kle look we’re gonna talk a lot about oh you going a red button yeah I’m red button in that I don’t I didn’t know the number was over 3 to one I think that’s kind of ridiculous honestly um sorry did you have something I didn’t mean to cut you off right there I’m just love it again to me I I look at it and I go we got the American wrestler Striker versus the Slick guy Brazilian once the fight hits the ground right so you can to mty’s point you can lose control time if Jack Shore and the fight gets down to the ground in wrestling terms but that’s when those submissions could could come into play for breedo right so ironically it’s almost like you don’t mind Jack sh shoots a takedown that’s where you guys would like to fight to go if you’re getting red butt in this thing yeah and the thing that really sticks out in my mind is I was watching tape the last couple days is the Ricky Simon fight for Jack Shore and that’s the one that he lost by submission and Ricky Ricky Simon’s not known as some great submission artist but what he does have is the physicality and Jack sha struggles with that physicality and I’m not sure there’s anyone in this division more physically strong than Joe Anderson burrito I think it’s going to give him a ton of problems and I I’m St I was stunned the 3 to one and I’m like okay maybe I’m just seeing that but 3 to one by sub it’s literally how Jack sha suffered his only loss in the UFC and that was to Ricky Simon then he comes back if you remember in March we talked about this fight he fought makana marican who and and he subbed him out in the second round and since then what has Maran done he quit the he was let go by the UFC then he went and did some regional thing where he was beaten too and then he retired right so uh I mean look at his wins he’s beaten nobody who has he beaten really his best competition was the physicality of Ricky Simon Ricky Simone whatever you want to call him and he just couldn’t handle it he landed 19 significant strikes he was Ragdoll all around I see a lot of that I think that’s a great find by Maddie a great price I’m live button in that give me burrito by sub plus 330 I love that play gotta tell you you guys are almost convinced me I’m goingon to stay away for now because I do respect the wrestling of Jack Shore but I love the handicap that if the wrestling of Jack Shore gets the fight down to the ground that’s where breedo could get this sub so Maddie and Kyle with the red button plus 330 Joe Anderson burrito via sub and that’s going to a lot of undercard stuff here huh a lot of but that’s because when you get to the main card right it’s juice to the Moon with these favorites right it’s World tough to bet and let’s get to that main card because gentlemen here we’re going to find this in a lot of these matchups where you have Brazilians against non- Brazilians right and so I’ve said this in some other outlets this week I really do think mentality is going to play into two fights in this m if you want to back non- Brazilian Fighters cuz you’re going to get better value it feels like if you’re betting against the Brazilians so the first fight on the card it is if it’s not Scottish it’s crap the beu Paul Craig against Kyo Ohio and I know Maddie we got a lot to break down in this fight but mentality I’ve seen the clips I’ve heard Paul Craig referred of himself in the third person leading up to this fight week in Brazil Mattie let me start there is the Bear Jew live and if so how of course he’s live he’s always live he can beat anyone in the world on any given night and I think if you’re going to play him though you go inside the distance versus the money line I’m not even I’m running it back I took this to win by second round KO against Andre munise it paid 40 to one I’m not getting as c as that this time I’m not going to take the round props but I’m absolutely taking the bear Drew to win by knockout here it’s plus 1600 on BET us at the end of the day he’s a 205 he’s a big guy he he he literally is on tape saying that he wants to win by a statement knockout in this fight his personal trainer literally DM me on Instagram said that his strength is through the roof right now he’s in the best shape of his life he’s worked on a strike in the past two years the ground and pound is live the kicks are live I don’t care that Kyle hasn’t lost in nine years Paul Craig is coming into Rio and he’s winning this fight by knockout this is the true king of Rio Paul Craig no oh boy so I want to hop through my screen I’m so excited now to watch this look a Paul Craig fight Kyle it’s it is exciting to to Matty’s point I love hearing that stuff because it shows you the mentality of where the trainer is the trainer believes it right he’s telling Maddie and I know Paul Craig believes it now Kyle Ohio if you look at some of his fights here he’s won a lot of decisions right it’s not like this big knockout guy that I think when you look at him he looks like a guy that should be able to piece you up and get you out of there but that has not been the case so far in his young UFC career I’m with Maddie I I think the bear Jew is very live especially if the fight hits the mat so it’s almost like a double chance you can look for a sub from the Bear Jew on the ground or posture up in ground and pound which we’ve seen him do before as well Kyle are you ready to hop into the octagon with the Scotchman look I want to but no he looks washed to me I’m sorry like that fight against Arnold Allen or against Bren was terrible I mean he landed 12 significant 12 total strikes and six significant strikes in three rounds he just got smothered and had nothing to offer I think he looks washed to me and I know look here’s what I think is going to happen Kai Baro by the way is not a world beater this guy’s a boring boring boring ass fighter I think every fight he’s had except the I think he submitted Michael ol juk I I think that’s his only finish in the UFC everything else decisions look at some of these numbers here decision win against Armen petan three round decision win he lands 12 significant strikes in three rounds three- round decision win against marov 19 significant strikes 34 significant strikes landed what an explosion in a two- round submission win against ol juk and then in his last fight against magedov he landed 51 significant strikes actually knocked him down so you know there’s that but to me what you’re probably going to see is Baro is going to be better better on the feet and I have to ask has a trainer of a fighter ever DM someone and said you know what I gotta tell you not since like Larry Holmes is training when Larry Holmes is training for that uh fight with uh uh God who gave with uh Mike Tyson with with Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes basically gave basically Larry Holmes gave Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s disease is what happened he beat him so bad and Muhammad Ali wouldn’t go down you remember that fight right and you remember Larry holes wanted he wanted this fight to be stopped he was crying he was crying in the ring literally he was beating up yes he cried in the ring like saying will you please stop this Muhammad Ali would not go down and that’s the only time I can remember like a trainer messaging someone or letting someone know like hey he’s lost a step this isn’t going to be good are we sure we want to do this but other than that there’s no way that Paul Craig’s trainer is gonna message Matty Betts and go hey just so you know Paul looks like [ __ ] okay yeah but he doesn’t he does he doesn’t have to send me he doesn’t have to send me anything though that’s true that’s true just saying and by the way let’s go back to kyo’s resume here since you brought it up Armen petan decision Armen then goes out and gets subbed in the first round in in the just a fight or two later against Rolo Vieira right then let’s look at Mel o chuk that that I like M that’s my guy I think he’s legit but he goes out and gets starched in the first round against uh Michelle Pereira then we have uh meridol he just got dropped by the UFC didn’t he yeah yeah he’s not in the organiz look those three wins those three wins have aged look look I want to take a shot bet on this I want to do a shot bet on this because I don’t think Paul Craig is gonna win I think it’s a really boring fight and you’ll see Paul Craig lay down and try to invite him in like he does that I hate that [ __ ] by the way I hate it with the fire the only thing I hate more than that are calf kicks and foot Stomps calf kicks and foot Stomps I think should just be when I see a guy stomp on the foot I just instantly roote against him I mean cuz just that would hurt so bad like what an [ __ ] to stomp on my foot but boring fight I’m gonna have to get Ricardo Llamas on the show I call him King of the calf kicks he’s gonna kick you in the calf there Kyle I do not want that that would hurt so i’ would be so mad can you imagine you’re in the bar you’re like I’m sick of you let’s step outside and he starts CF kicking you and you can’t walk no you’re an [ __ ] all right you’re a real [ __ ] for doing it um my gut tells me it’s going to be a boring boring fight with Paul Craig laying on the ground trying to invite him in and Kai kicking him in the leg while he’s down because he’s not wanting to go down there and the referee will never stand him up and the crowd starts to boo that’s probably what you’re going to see here I want to take a shot bet on it but Maddie you have to tell everyone why I’m so nervous because if this doesn’t happen if he does not knock him out something bad’s happening to Maddie so I don’t want him to have to take a shot because of it after he’s got a broken leg so I want to just uh I think Matty should explain the Stak absolutely the stakes are Stakes yeah the bet on the show me the money podcast the bet I made with Gilbert and moano is if Paul Craig wins by knockout moano has to wear a Patty pimpl wig on the show and if he doesn’t win by knockout Gilbert has to Gilbert gets to give me one leg kick not on the calf but like the quad or the high up on the leg but I don’t know what percent I don’t know what percent it’s going to be at but it’s not going to matter at the end of the day because Paul Craig’s going to win by knockout so it it’s all irrelevant at the end of the day and I’m telling you it’s he’s going to be down two rounds to zero and he’s gonna land a head KCK in the third round that’s my prediction that wow don’t we don’t we think it’s more likely to submit him Dave like that’s what the Bear Jew does right to that’s way I see that’s that’s the way I see it right that on the ground that I think the fight will go to the ground because I what I see is because of the decisions Kyle B has been in right that he kind of let you hang around and at some point remember Kyle’s still the younger fighter here Paul’s crafty right Paul’s gonna figure out a way to get the fight down to the ground and then all of a sudden kind of like Jamal Hill you look up and you go how am I losing to this guy and then you lose to this guy Maddie I would just hate that if Paul Craig gets a submission he still gets a kicky in the leg Gilbert Burns does but never K’s never been submitted before I mean he’s never been knocked out either but he he’s very good I think he’s very good defense on the ground and again we see it all the time like the Andre munes fight he couldn’t submit Andre mun but then he gives up the ground and pound you know so the gambling Gods favor the Bold Andre mun very on very very limited he’s a submission guy only we know that I mean he was out striking he was out striking Brendan Allen on the feet for the first two rounds yeah exactly why I’m not getting a [ __ ] stamp right because mun outstruck br on the feet that’s why I’m not getting a [ __ ] stamp right that’s the worst one of them all and you make me like I’m taking another shot cuz I’m nervous about MD getting kicked by Gilbert Burns I the good news is Matty’s a pretty strong you know big guy like you know he’s a d lineman in the SE like if this was me my leg would be in serious danger like it would be in a lot of [ __ ] danger if I was getting kicked but Maddie will probably be all right I would imagine probably but that is the official play it’s going to be Paul Craig for Maddie via KO at 16 to1 look I love the number already for Paul Craig so I’m just going to take it over a$ four betting Underdog so I’m almost a double chance for me I don’t think there’s any way he wins a decision so I do think it’s either KO or by sub that he has to get this done as Kyle does another shot because Matt stress to be out he stressed to be out dude I don’t want it to happen to him you know he comes out here he’s like I haven’t eaten in a week and if this guy doesn’t win I have to not eat for another week and and by the way I have to drive 150 miles an hour with Andy Reid’s kids if I lose you know it’s just always something crazy I have to hang out with Michael Porter Jr’s brothers who are just horrible people you know what I mean there’s all sorts of things I got a I got a party with Shawn Payton in 2009 I don’t know like you know lots of weird things so that’s the official plays no play for Kyle and when are gonna be invited on this podcast Dave where we can have fun like this I never get invited on fla all of our guests are in person oh in come we’re going to Florida we’ll take we’ll take the show florid we go to Disney World though because I gotta go to Disney World if I’m coming to Florida bottom line by the way shout out because it was sort of like that middle ground that lack of talent between you know you had the late seven you had the Ali and the frasers and and goingn and he wasn’t super charismatic and he kind of had the lisp and stuff like that but um there wasn’t a lot of great competition for him he’s the only man in history to to defeat both Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson so there you go or to face both Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson I saying he got Tyson that was old homes old homes against a young Tyson when that happened and and I can’t wait for the Q&A I hope someone asked a question about this Mike ehor portieria and I do believe there’s one play officially on the card for this one here and look Pera is just he’s a he’s a walking highlight a jumping highlight he he’s exciting to watch he’s had some weight issues as we’ve seen in the past Kyle no side for you but you you are going to play a total what do you think’s going to happen yeah I’m going to go the over one and a half and it’s at plus money and look I get it potier is taking this on a little bit of short notice as he wasn’t supposed to necessarily be in this fight um I think he was supposed to fight six weeks from now something like that so he’s taking on a little bit short notice and Michelle paja has just been since he stopped the nonsense since he stopped the flipping and the jumping and the you know all the crazy crap that he does he’s a super athletic guy probably the most athletic guy in the entire company honestly if you went pound-for-pound the dude I mean the dude can probably leap over the Octagon cage without touching it you know he’s unbelievable and his power has translated in the new division he’s he’s awesome he’s on his way to a title shot but p is one of these guy and P is one of these guys like kill or be killed and I think both these guys know it and it’s sort of the same sort of principle I used last week with yon Denise and Austin Lane is when they know it they prepare for it so I do think that you’re going to see a little little bit more hesitancy especially in the first round Michelle paa knows you know ptor has only got seven seven and a half minutes of real fight in him before he gasses his his cardio is just not there paa we know can go three or five rounds no problem so I think you see a pretty hesitant early on fight that first round is probably going to be pretty boring it could be a good live betting spot if you check the if pia has a good first round and he starts to gas like I’ll be jumping all over paa right now he’s such a huge favorite so for me I think this gets into the second round I could see it it’s going to be close I could see this finished right after that 230 Mark of the second round I’ll be watching with baited breath but I do think this gets into the second round as both guys feel each other out the only way Paha loses this fight is if peteria knocks him out early because that’s when he’s the most dangerous and I think paa has shown that he’s grown and sort of knows that so I see this going over one and a half rounds and I’m getting plus money on it you know Maddie last week that was kind of might take in Ryan Superman span against gusov uh bdon gusov is that I thought the the over was in play because I looked at Spain as a great five minute fighter and span almost got him out of there in the first five minutes and then you saw the gas tank just get depleted so luckily I was on the right side of of bogdon and the over last week do you see a similar scenario because I think that’s what Kyle’s seeing here these guys are good for five and you got to stretch it into seven and a half minutes to play that over there’s danger obviously with the with the cardio uh issues here how do you see this fight potentially playing out yeah honestly I’m shocked I didn’t put that over on on my picks because I I talked about that on my show earlier in the week um but I think it’s one of the sharper plays on the card you know let’s not forget uh Michelle Pereira was the guy that went to distance with with Andre fiio who everyone puts away and I think it’s it’s it’s a huge recency biased just this number because the fact that you know Michelle has come out and won very quickly in round one two fights in a row now but you know how much stock do we put into that I think uh the the uh the Mikel fight was okay was a good finish but the fight before was Andre Petroski and I don’t think we think very highly of his standup um but Michelle if if Michelle goes back to what he normally does like he’s gonna stick and move and he’s gonna move around and he’s not gonna just come out starching guys so I like the fact that this is plus money plus 130 I think it’s it’s probably one of the sharper plays on the card in my opinion but I do agree that it’s going to be probably scary in that second round it could be pretty close yeah that’s where the cardio issues come in but Kyle that is your official play I like it too I think it’s very EST over also this money line here is is ridiculous by the way how wide it is it’s so wide is isn’t a world beater he’s Never Gonna Be A Champion probably never gonna be ranked but he’s a solid guy who just think about logic just think about it logically these guys were three weight classes apart at one point and the guy the heavier guy is four five to one dog I mean that’s that’s that’s asinine you know so like part of wants to bet it just out of principle but nobody none of us actually think he’s going to win that’s the challenge but from a sheer value standpoint it’s it’s ridiculous he should not be that big of a dog I think the overplay is the way to find Value in this fight Kyle’s done so at plus a dollar 30 for over seven and a half minutes because I’m with you guys I think Pereira is that flashy guy so if it does go long or even hit the judge of scorecards it’s going to be hard I would think for poer to get a decision right so that’s the style of fight that I think we see playing out in the cardio issues could be a problem for ehore as the fight goes deeper so that is Kyle’s official play at plus a do30 uh you guys I know Maddie I believe you’ve got a play in the next one with Lion Hart Smith against vtor patrino and patrino is I mean again look at the the numbers in the money line my goodness you gotta lay $6 against a guy in lionhardt that’s fought for titles and we understand the wrestling of Anthony Smith here but but uh you’re going to go with a much younger guy here 26 verse 35 is this a play against lionhardt or a play on vtor yeah I mean it’s a little bit of both I mean I I think linhardt like you know the fact that he made it in the round three with khil Round Tree I think khil is on a different level than than patrino right now I think patrino has the ability to get there but I still think this fight isn’t going to be easy for him I think he’s going to Edge out of decision and it’s at plus two 25 um I just I think it’s going to be hard for for Anthony Smith to get the takedowns because just because this dude’s just so big and strong and physical um and I think that you know we we’ve seen him now be patient like in that last fight against Tyson Pedro like he’s very patient and measured and uh I I think this fight’s GNA start off very slow on the feet and I think I believe in in Anthony Smith’s durability overall here I just I just don’t think I don’t think either guys going to get a finish so I like you know getting the six to1 favorite at plus 225 on the scorecards here but it’s definitely going to be sweaty that’s yeah that’s why we talk about finding value I mean you’re flipping a six to1 fave to a plus 225 dog if you will to win by decision for patrino Kyle this gets back into I’m not I’m not saying that judging you know is always going to go to the Home Country here but this is why the UFC pits these Fighters non- Brazilians against Brazilians if you think the fight can hit the cards I love what matti’s done there you take the big favorite Brazilian you’re G to get plus 225 and unless Anthony Smith does something what with his hands or controls patrino on the ground that’s the way he could win a decision I don’t see it playing out that way either I kind of look at it like it’s got to be lionhardt inside the distance well Petrino via decision doesn’t feel like a bad play yeah it’s a three- round fight I actually before the show even started said hey just so you guys know I’m gonna live bet Matty’s bet here I’m taking patrino by decision plus it it’s almost ridiculous and the Tyson Pedro fight um it’s interesting that mdy brought it up because that gave me a different takeaway he was patient but he was also very underwhelming I mean Tyson Pedro’s done he retired after that Tyson Pedro looked horrible that was a boring terrible some he should have starched Tyson Pedro and he didn’t and so then I look at Anthony Smith right so you know the uh you’re getting a number at over two to one on patrino by decision so everyone thinks they’re going to finish him well I think back to 2020 when Anthony Smith was already done in the water and he fought Glover Taran do you guys remember that fight do you remember the audio that was during the co stuff remember you could hear everything and he and and Glover is beating the absolute snot in a five round fight out of Anthony Smith and he apologizes if you remember during the exchange he says dude I’m really sorry I’m just dominating you and beating you up here on the ground this is like in the fourth round and Anthony Smith lifts up his hand from the bottom while he’s getting punched in the face and says it’s okay man you’re good you’re good I appreciate it they they’re literally having this conversation Anthony Smith is not going to tap out Anthony I mean he I guess if it hurts enough but he’s not this is a guy that you’re really gonna have to put away and I don’t see that out of vtor patrino I think he’s a little bit overhyped uh I think Matty’s right he’s gonna be a little bit more this is going to be sort of a mundane I think he’s going to take him down control the ground and Anthony Smith’s not going to give up because that’s who he is um he’s doesn’t really have anything to offer him back in terms of offense I don’t see Anthony Smith winning here so the only way you bet this fight at this price patrino shouldn’t be a six to1 favorite over anybody I think that’s absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to Anthony Smith but the only way he went I don’t see him putting Anthony Smith away so by decision at plus 225 I know Maddie gave me some props saying my over one and a half was a sharper play on the card but I think this might be the sharpest play on the card Pino by decision flipping over 8 on your bet sign me up live bet red button it patrino by decision plus 225 there it is gonna follow Maddie on that I love the rationale there I my only concern as to why I’m not red button is if patrino hears all of that he knows that too he’s not looked great in some of these outings I wonder if Anthony Smith might be right for the pick and to get him out of there inside the distance but if he shows the lack of volume Kyle as you pointed out uh in some recent performances I think you guys are live uh big time live here at Big Time price tag on a $6 betting favorite plus 225 patrino via decision so really like those handicaps there uh let’s get to the co-main event of the evening and again we got American against Brazilian not just any Brazilian but the king of Rio and you know J say Aldo you know I always talk about my love affair from boxing way back uh late 70s 80s 90s and then how it started to transition into MMA Aldo’s one of those guys for me that I I just I’ve always found myself rooting for because I just think he’s such a pro obviously we know he’s a Hall of Famer whether he’s the best featherweight of all time or now down at bantamweight I think he’s he’s you know handled himself pretty well at bantamweight as well uh as he’s dropped down a weight class but different guy now in Jonathan Martinez with those leg kicks that he brings uh Maddie let me start with you I’m back in Martinez the respect level I have for Aldo is I don’t know if he can get Aldo out of there but I think could certainly I think he’s got advantages just about everywhere at this stage of Aldo’s career so I’m laying the price tag with Martinez at minus a150 but mdny I think are you gonna go a different way to try to get a little bit more value here yeah I think I I took Martinez round two and round three KO here I just think wow you know Jose Aldo actually surprisingly I look back at the numbers and like he gives up a lot of leg kicks in a lot of his fights like he’s actually gets kicked a lot and a lot more than people think um and Martinez is just too accurate and too powerful with those kicks I mean he made Adrien gannis look silly which I know this there’s obviously levels here but at the end of the day Jose out is retired he’s boxing I mean these kicks are just different I think out of Martinez so I’m just going to trust that he’s able to accumulate enough damage to get a late stoppage here the numbers are just too big for me to pass up on so 11 the one in round two and 18 the one in round three those those big shots of Steph Curry shots we’re talking about but but I mean it’s logical right because again in the history of the UFC there have been two fighters that have won by multiple leg kick stoppages only two Edson Barbosa and Jonathan Martinez Jan Mar right so these these leg kicks are coming and so Kyle again that’s why I played Martinez just laying the small price tag because I worry that Aldo might not be able to take the shots are you confident enough that this one at least hits the cards for you to get home well not super conf because Jos Aldo when he does lose most of his losses tend to be by knockout lates Conor McGregor of course that one stands out um 13 which was just a weird one I I felt I’ve always felt like that I felt like that was fixed because it just didn’t seem right but nonetheless I I I something seemed off about that and again I’m not a I’m not a conspiracy theorist when it comes to sports but that one seemed weird um of course he lost late to Peter Yan in 2020 Marlin Marice and he was knocked out in that one Marice took him to decision in 2019 um then his other losses Max Holloway knocked him out twice of course late in the in the third round in that one for me it’s Jonathan Martinez or nothing I’m trying to find some value here I’m going to take him by decision at plus 145 and it’s not just and look Josie Aldo’s coming out of retirement he looked terrible in that little boxing exhibition he did with Jeremy Stevens he didn’t look good in that and if you watch that that was a real let down dude’s way past his prime all right this is the Great I mean arguably before this decline was the greatest in this division hands down far none dude’s unbelievable why I’m taking it by decision at plus 145 is even though I think Martinez is going to be faster quicker stronger in all areas Brazil Pay-Per-View co-main event home crowd I think it’s going to be really hard to make Jose Aldo not be there not be in the moment and I think knows this is probably his last big time fight in a main event right or a co-main event on a pay-per-view it’s hard for me to imagine there’s got to be some pride there and I I I’m doing some psychology here I’m betting UFC psychology which I don’t normally want to do but I feel like he’s gonna have guts he’s gonna take a beating but Jonathan Martinez is goingon to beat him it’s a little bit of Larry Holmes Muhammad Ali here uh I’m gonna take Martinez by decision plus 145 all right and by the way I was you know I go back to Max Holloway Korean zombie in Singapore right earlier this year what what’s the what’s the respect is the respect you carry a fighter for three rounds to a decision that you love and honor and I’m sure Jonathan Martinez does that without or get him out of there like Max’s respect level was I’m gonna fight the Korean zombie the way he wants to fight and go out if he goes out on his shield so be it I’ll be very curious to see as this fight goes whether Martinez kind of carries Aldo to the finish line or is like no my real respect is to try to get you out of there and it’s it’s kind of a weird uh mental way to look at it here cuz sometimes I think Fighters look at other Fighters uh the different way as you mentioned Kyle Anthony Smith saying don’t worry about it dude to Glover to Sher like Glover got tired of pounding on the guy no no no while fighting right I mean this stuff happens sometimes for people that you admire and I think most of the MMA Community admires Aldo so that’s why I’m just going to I don’t know what Martinez is going to go out there to kill Aldo and get him out of there or going to go out there to just beat him and respectfully do so so Matty is going to go with a double chance here rounds two and three that Martinez gets him out of there at big plus money there 16 to1 11 to1 here and you’re going to go Martinez via decision at plus money plus a145 I’m gonna lay it sometimes I think you can find Value in favorites and to me this is a valuable favorite here at minus a150 so that’s why I’m going to risk a little bit more of the portfolio here to just back the American from La Jonathan Martinez Main Event time let’s get to it and AD sandre Pantoja is now I think a made man in Brazil fought everybody there is to fight he’s done the circle uh with the big three if you will at 125 pounds the the belt is on the line here uh but I look at Steve IG as the Australian and he does have that Steve Carell 40e virgin type feel to him that I don’t know that people he looks just like him that’s a great call I just doesn’t he once you see it you can’t unsee it so I just look at the that’s unbelievable I mean he’s like he sells you a computer then he gets you out of there I mean that’s the way I see it with a guy like Steve ersing unbelievable and the thing here boys and I I I I really thought I was gonna have like you know like I’m gonna be on ERS and over a$2 betting Underdog nobody’s gonna be on him it feels like the the betting Community is wised up and the numbers have come down the money has come in on Earth KY I’ll start with you are we going to back the computer salesman to be an new at 125 pounds I look I think Steve EG has looked really good in his wins right he’s he has he’s just been sort of this guy like oh Steve EG and you don’t expect it because you’re right he does look like Michael Scott holy [ __ ] I I my it kind of blows my mind a little bit here but what are we talking about here Steve EG’s never been in a five round fight the guys he’s beaten in the UFC Matt Schnell s Chan Costa and David Dvorak with 54 significant strikes and three takedowns in a decision win and then I go and look at the credentials of the champ and look there’s no disputing it’s been weird in the UFC we’ve got some unlikely Champs right guys like sha Ali and Ilia Toria it’s been the passing of the Guard right like it’s been the these guys who have been Main Stays and studs and stars and have multiple ways to win have sort of gotten thrown to the way Wayside for these younger upand cominging guys but Alexander panta just literally put on a clinic against Brandon Roy Val took him down eight times Brandon Moreno took him down six times landed 129 significant strikes in that fight 95 in the win over Brandon royval you’re telling me that you would favor Steve EG over Brandon Moreno or I’m I’m saying no I think this gets later into the fight I think Steve EG is plenty durable and he he hangs in there did you guys go black down here as well we’re back we’re back but I think Penta wears him down wins this by sub I’m gonna take Still Still champ Alexander Pantoja at plus 265 the world’s not ready for Steve EG to be the champ that’s just ridiculous and he’s beating nobody like this is kind of a weird title opportunity he’s beaten backpack him which he can do I mean he can he can do that because I don’t think he’s he wants to stand in front of EG here so I’m gonna back ERS at plus a do 55 Maddie you’re really getting creative with the Australian here with the Steve Carell Australian Boomerang uh how do you see an new happening this is a pure number play for me all right so Steve IG I know he’s looked at as this guy with amazing hands in boxing and knockout power the dude is two Knockouts in his career he has six wins by submission in his MMA career now with that said I don’t think he’s gonna outg grapple ponia but we see all the time there’s a world where you can soften a guy up you can land some shots and then get the back of some sort and I just think this is a five round fight and I think the fact that pona is so adorable makes the submission live because you’re not knocking out ponosa like he’s just he’s just an animal he’s a machine he’s got a crazy chin so I think there’s a world where if Steve IG is the bigger more physical guy he can land shots and then he can he can find a submission maybe late in the fight so it’s 12 the one odds on BET us that’s a crazy number for a guy that has six submissions in his career um I I like that I also like the decision prop I think is another way to to back him here but I’m definitely not taking ersc by Knockout by the way uh Kyle you just did did you just do play to ig’s advantage or disadvantage the longer the fight goes uh down there in R but it’s a I think it’s a fascinating main event did you guys see those statistics of guys that have like three or four fights in the UFC and fight for the belt they’ve like won every single time it’s pretty good it’s insane it’s like I forget all the everyone that it is obviously Pereira uh there’s like five or six exam there like five examples and every single fighter has won by knockout I I I’ve got the sense by listening to to some people I really respect in the MMA community that they believe ig’s being slept on now the market has adjusted because if you go back a couple weeks ago you could have got ERS at plus 250 those I mean it’s come down almost a full dollar so in in our world that’s a big money move towards the URC side so I do feel like there’s a lot of sharp action on URC but Kyle to to your point I think if that’s the way it goes uh that’s the way Pantoja wins either I think by decision or by sub if he can backpack ERS and get him out of there that way that’s the way I could see that playing out on your side for the Pantoja side so uh let’s get to some Q&A that we have and Bruno I think he’s got a great question if you guys saw this Johnny Jones however you feel about the great JN Bones Jones he did kind of put it out there it’s almost like a feeler hey guys who would you rather see me fight this coming from Jon Jones would you rather see me fight Alex perara at heavyweight or Tom aspel and I got the sense that Bones Jones is Almost throwing at he rather fight perara and at first plus you go why would you want to fight that killer I know exactly why he’d want to fight him he sees holes in perara games that he doesn’t see in aspinal so while this feels like a a very beat my chest and I’ll fight your killer at heavyweight I think this is Jon’s way of almost serial gning this thing and going oh you you want to wrestle I I’ll take you down to the ground and then perara would be fish out of the water I think no no disrespect to perara I think this is Jones’s way of seeing an advantage in fighting perara a smaller guy who would be fighting at heavyweight versus a killer and Aspen all Maddie let me start with you do you see it the same way or do you think there that JN really doesn’t care who he would fight I mean maybe some but I think the the Pereira fight is a much bigger money fight perea is that’s it a bigger audience and I’ll tell you one thing if Pereira knocked out Jon Jones that’d be the greatest knockout in Combat Sports history I don’t disagree with that Kyle the money would certainly go to the perara side because peraro would try to do something that’s never been done in the history of the UFC and that would be win a championship in three weight classes think of that if he went up and fought Jones for the heavyweight championship that would be three weight classes I don’t maybe it could be done again somewhere down the road but this is the freak that Alex perara is but I just don’t think Johnny would say yeah I’ll fight perara if I if he really thinks he’s going to get knocked out yeah and let’s not kid ourselves here Jon Jones know he’s at the he’s at the tail end of his career he’s not goingon to be doing this for much longer he’s already changed weight classes he’s gotten heavier he’s got Pro he doesn’t he’s not in that first fight you remember you remember how much that broke it broke my heart I was a Roy Jones guy no it’s Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson one day in that’s what I was gonna say that’s still the Shocker of shockers to me do you know and I look no one’s a bigger Tyson fan than me you know I lived and died Mike Tyson people still think that there was a slow count on that knockdown at Buster Douglas that it goes to 13 watch it a million times it’s nine it’s nine every time right Dave I try to tell people like are oh that slow count was 13 I’m like what kind of drugs are you on dude like share me those drugs it was nine it was not the referee didn’t screw up at all Douglas was not out for 10 he fought on over his dead grandmother and we know the story custom dying we all know the story I don’t want to get too much into it but it’s up there the the only reason Jon Jones wants this fight is money he knows he’s not gonna have a lot of these fights left and a fight with Alex paja is 10 times more profitable for the company for him for everyone involved than Tom aspadol no one gives [ __ ] about Tom Aspen except for us UFC guys right you go talk to Casual in the Brits yeah you go talk to a casual fan no one knows who Tom aspal is but I guarantee you they know who Al Alex paa is now especially with the crossover and yeah The Poon and the and the the the vict over Anna he’s a fair or or foul we’ll find out if that fight happens but I think Jon believes oh I he’s got holes and I can exploit them because I think Jamal Hill believed that perara had holes that he could exploit he just didn’t get the opportunity to do so that’s the problem you gotta wait in and you gota w I’ve always the the left hand of Alex Pera right now is the biggest weapon in MMA right the singular weapon but can you get him down to the ground can you wrestle can you grapple with Alex perara and I I wonder if that’s what Jon Jones would do uh if that fight ever comes to fruition I’m fascinated an underdog and they and they sanctioned it so here’s what I’m trying to figure out and someone put in the comment section that Steve EG looks like Novak jokovic the tennis player and uh he’s not wrong holy crap he’s not wrong he looks exactly like no jokovic that’s actually pretty funny um I’m just trying to figure I’m trying to sort this out in my brain right like the United States Marines Dave Ross did not defend this country for a guy like Jake Paul to defeat Mike Tyson in any sort of event it seems wrong it feels wrong it seems wrong America can’t we’re already divided enough it’s an election year we hate everybody right like everybody hates everyone hates everyone because they I tried explaining that like don’t you know that both sides hate you they don’t care they just want the the benefits the retirement and the money and the power they don’t give a [ __ ] about power the power yeah yeah yeah as nice as Biden might seem he hates you as nice as Trump might seem to you he hates you they don’t like you they’re both 80 [ __ ] them both okay let’s leave it there but uh the country’s not prepared for so when I first heard this fight being announced right I’m like okay this is a works this is a WWE thing and they’re going to have it be for they’re not going to put over Jake Paul over Tyson Tyson would never stand for it he too crazy but now this is a sanctioned fight it’s going to count against their Pro records is it still a work I don’t know what to do Tyson right now I will tell you guys this right now Tyson is plus money right now that’s not gonna last long money is going to come in hand over fist on Mike Tyson you you would have to bet on Mike Tyson a plus money because again we’re we’re we’re wogan or what which Paul brother is this Jake Jake Jake Bodywork those those kids they’ve all everybody they fought have been Head Hunters you’re going to get a guy and Mike Tyson I don’t care how old he is the bag work that he does to the body if if Paul allows his body to be hit watch and by the way the maybe the best combination in the history of boxing is the left hook by Tyson to the body and then he comes right upstairs and knocks you out with that left it’s it’s an unbelievable two- punch combination of left to the body left to the head and it’s so quick now I know he’s my age in his 50s the only pure boxer Jake Paul thought was Tommy Fury who’s a very limited boxer who will never be anywhere close to ranked by any sanctioning body outside of the WBO which is just a ridiculous sanctioning body that doesn’t even belong among the sanctioning bodies he’ll NE and Tommy Fury just outboxed him Mike Tyson didn’t look terrible against Roy Jones you remember that little exhibition they did he had they went the full eight rounds these are two-minute rounds not three minute rounds but it’s sanctioned that tells me Tyson is going for blood but did you read the contract when you read the contract Tyson makes more money for every round that occurs so he makes less money if he knocks him out in the first round so he’s the over it’s almost like a dirty dirty work right like what the hell is going on with this I don’t know what to feel
