on today’s video I’m playing a full set of golf clubs from a maker that I think is at the top of their game and they’re offering probably the best bang for buck right now in 2024 in terms of golf club so I’ve got a full set here of the Tour Edge Exotics C 524 series these things are absolutely beautiful I’ve got the woods I’ve got hybrids I’ve got irons I’ve got wedges let me show you what they look like first off we’ve got the driver this is the c524 D driver with technology that has been carried over from the Tor Edge Exotic Series their more expensive series you’re getting a ton of value at $249 with this driver because you’ve got Diamond face technology it’s basically variable thickness to help you on those off-center hits you’ve got ridgeback technology just like the more expensive Exotic Series this is going to give you stability give you a little higher launch that’s why they call this hot launch you’ve also got a big tungsten weight there in the back beautiful carbon fiber look to the top of this thing it’s a gorgeous package now a couple things that you’re going to be missing is adjustability here down in the hosle but again budget Club you’re also not going to have a ton of shaft options but the shaft that’s on here is pretty darn good this is the ascent 55 G stiff shaft next here at the 3 woods well you’re going to get that same technology that you got in the driver in a smaller package the ridgeback the diamond face this 3-wood is 15° and again it’s a beauty so easy to get up in the air I really loved this club when I reviewed it now there is a fivewood in the Timeless question fivewood or three hybrid I generally opt for a three hybrid that’s what I’ve got in my hands here as you can see that same technology has also carried through ridgeback Diamond face this is 19° and again it lives up to the hot launch name this thing gets up the air so easy just like the driver in the 3-wood you’ve got the ascent on here although it’s 60 G with the Hybrid next up are some beautiful looking irons for game improvement irons in fact as you can see I have not even ripped the plastic off of these guys yet so we’ll do that together what I love about these irons is as you can see here this is Vibra cor technology and this is going to dampen the sensation just make it feel better coming off the face but what it really does for me aesthetically is it hides what’s often kind of an ugly cavity back and this looks much more like a player’s iron even though it is definitely a game improvement iron as you can see up at the top you’ve got a pretty big thick Top Line you’ve also got a decent amount of offset here down at the bottom you’ve got a lot of Bounce here very wide sole this may not be the best out of the rough but it’s going to forgive those thin shots and you’re probably going to gain some distance that you wouldn’t normally get if we talk about the set makeup you’ve got a 29° 7 iron here in my hand up at the pitching wedge it’s 43° and down at the 4 iron it’s 20° so definitely some more pressed Lofts here these are going to be aimed at your higher handicap golfers the other thing they’ve done here with the irons is add a lot of weight here towards the toe to forgive those toe strikes that amers often have including myself very nice shaft on these clubs in my opinion this is the Elevate 95 G stiff Flex again everything about these hot launch set up to get you up in the air quicker it works just like Viagra even though it’s a golf club this is all about elevating that ball flight and finally here’s a look at the matching wedges I got this in 50 54 and 58° but they have all sorts of different Lofts available again you’ve got quite a bit of offset there and a thicker Top Line it’s going to be a pretty forgiving club with that big wide sole nice looking set we’re going to put this full set to the test we’re heading to the first hole our over under is going to be plus or minus two that’s going to be the score for me to beat here today hopefully I can do that either way we’re going to have some fun with these clubs I tell you what they’re all about now with a little breeze behind me I’m hoping I can challenge this par five and two well I’m basically 250 out here in the middle of the Fairway better than I deserved because that strike was off the heel and that just goes to show you how forgiving these clubs are I’m going to go three-wood here and just see if we can get as close as we possibly can to this green nice higher launch if we get some roll we’re going to be really close if not on that green yeah we’re just up near the Fringe I’ll take that all day long and by the way these are literally my first swings of the day because the range was closed today so it goes to show you just how forgiving these clubs can be those certainly weren’t two amazing swings but they are dead straight and we’ve got a e chip a lot of Bounce down at the so of this club as well it’s going to help those M hits very forgiving looking wedge to me and a pretty decent result there got the distance right we’ve got a little tiny birdie putt here the one club I’m not using from the torage c524 set is going to be the putter and this putter costs about half the price of this entire set it’s that expensive that’s a birdie though we’re one under with the c524 and that is really good for our over under great start let’s go to Hole number two hole number two is a little shorter par forward I might actually get myself into some trouble if I go drive it here so I’m actually going to go hybrid and see if we can get into good position here on this little dog leg left a little right of my target we’re actually heading right towards a fairway bunker because I hit the hybrid and that’s exactly why I hit it we should be short of it we should have a short iron in hand out of the four swings I’ve taken only that chip was half decent so just a testament to the Forgiveness built into a set of clubs like this so just off the Fairway in front of this bunker I’ve got 131 it gives me a great chance to pull out our first Iron of the day which is going to be pitching wedge as you can see again a big thick profile up top plenty of offset even here at the pitching wedge this shot really calls for a fade tough to fade a pitching wedge but let’s see if we can pull it off bunker on the right there so I don’t want to fade it too much caught it pretty cleanly I think and again we’re just Up On The Fringe B got some nice check but I did hit that a little too hard someone left a wedge here so we’ll pick that up for them as well all right much longer par putt than I should have had here probably 7 and 1 half 8 feet I’d say let’s call it eight should be moving just a little left to right but not that much left to right okay well we’re back to even par and we’re headed to the really tough part of this course third hole is a very narrow 380 four yd par 4 a little dog leg right and let’s see if we can put a little fade on this ball keep it in the Fairway hold on that line oo I got a big hard bounce to the right there and we may be maybe in the hazard yeah so we are in the hazard and unfortunately even though I probably could play this it’s not very far off the Fairway unfortunately this is one of those haard you’re not allowed to play on of it’s like environmental thing so we’re going to have to take the penalty here and uh we did get plenty of good distance out of that though we should have a wedge in our hand all right after my drop here I’m 123 out I’m going to go 50° wedge here now I chose my wedges to be 50 54 58 but they’ve got the whole gamut so if you like 52 56 60 you could do that too I’ve got to get all of this though cuz I got to cover that bunker which is probably about 110 to cover boy that’s so nice and high little left of the pin and just about pin High really good shot caught that where I wanted it so we will have a putt to save par got to say I really like the feel of that one it was nice and buttery and one thing that makes these irons and wedges feel so good is the type of Steel they’ve used I forget the exact name I’ll put it here so you can you can see it in the graphic but basically it’s a softer type of stainless steel about the softest you can make a golf club out of and still have rigidity but also give you that good feel even though they’re cast iron great feeling clubs there and you’re going to see the spin here that checked up really nice as well pitchmark which I will of course fix and we Roll Out 3 and 1/2 ft here we’ve got exactly pin high for par out of the rough I’m really happy with that spin you generally don’t get quite as much spin out of the rough but that was really really excellent again for the type of clubs these are okay I mean the shot was 123 I hit that exactly 123 let’s make it I’d call this 14 ft and that one broke a lot more than I thought the first one didn’t break like I thought that one broke BR much more than I thought so it is a bogy and uh we got to do better than that still don’t think I hit any real bad shots there I think the shots on the first hole were actually worse than the shots I hit here but instead of a birdie We Come Away with a bogey heading to another par 4 again very tight this is a tight stretch of holes not super long not quite as long as this one so I’ll probably go three-wood here off the tea so goal here is to get past those palm trees on the left that’s critical but if you go too far which I would do with the driver I’d be in that waste area just like we were on the last hole and I got to avoid that it’s also very tight up there on the right with a bunker and more of that Hazard let’s see if we can go right at that palm tree with just a little bit of a fade oh that is high very high but that’s position a they call these clubs hot launches and that’s no accident these things get up in the air super super high well we did just what I wanted to do there we got past the palm trees and unfortunately it’s not a Fairway in regulation tough tough green to hit we’ve got 157 lot of Hazard to clear here again and I’m using the cad Cube Rangefinder if you didn’t see my review of this thing go and check it out it is so cool while it’s very small the technology that’s packed inside this thing is incredible I’ve got slope on here that’s adjusted for all the environmental conditions you can also triangulate with this thing it’s just so cool 157 I think we can go eight iron here oh I hit it fat and I also pushed it so we’re going to be chipping did seem to grab my club just a little bit there as well and that’s something you’re going to experience a little bit more with a very wide sole like these clubs have you get that with game improvement clubs sometimes you get it a lot less with a a blade or a player iron that has a more narrow so to it but sometimes you got to take the good and the bad still got plenty of distance there cover that Hazard no problem again on a strike that just wasn’t that great again getting plenty of distance and I would say basically pin High maybe a yard or two short very tough chip here though I’ve got almost no green to work with and this is a wide angle lens by the way probably have 8T of green to work with so I got a land it basically On The Fringe and this is all downhill from here so wish me luck very difficult shot here not bad keep going come on no oh boy that should have been in the hole that’s another bogy that means we’re on our number of plus two we’re heading to a par three though all right Par 3 one 75 wind all of a sudden dead into me pretty strong though so I normally would hit a seven iron here but I’m going to go six iron because we got a lot of water to cover here oh that felt really good it’s leaking on me just a touch I think the wind’s pulling it got a nice little gust right as I swung at that thing it started off just a little right of the pin I thought it was going to be a good shot but that wind really brought it so we have only one green in regulation so far we’ve got to do better if we’re going to score well out here I thought that was a pretty good shot I think just kind of got a little robbed there there’s a ridge there’s like kind of a two-tiered green here so I want to get up on the right level got to get this to the hole oh that’s a good shot and there you go okay studied the ship there a bit really couldn’t afford a bogey there so 54 degree wedge got us into position as needed I really like these wedges for sure in this set of clubs I’m playing 395 y dog leg left we’ve got a hill though here so if I can hit the hill you can really cut this hole down to size but if I overdraw it I’m in the water on the left I do not want to be there so we need some magic out this driver right now and we got it that’s perfect all right are we back I think we are all right this is position a I’ve got 136 I’ve got nine iron in hand cuz I’d like to take a nice smooth swing we got a lot of wind in our face as well as you just saw in the last hole so we need a green in regulation it’s been too long that was a nice strike a little draw coming right down the Smoke Stack and we’ve got ourselves a birdie putt these irons don’t feel like game improvement irons these irons feel a lot better and sound a lot better than most Great Value at $549 in my opinion perfect Club selection here again let’s take a look at this pitch mark because this is one that was in the Fairway we’ve already seen what it did out of the rough but uh we got very little roll out here with this one out of the Fairway nine iron here here’s my pitch mark which of course I will fix and we’re talking 4 feet here again pin High let’s roll this one in oh just burned the edge oh shouldn’t have given away the hole I have not figured out these greens here today that’s a par we’re still at plus two our number oh that’s good we got 131 here I’m going to go with that same nineiron why not just take a little bit off of it but I like to keep it low under the wind here it’s still in our face oh that looks really good be the club oh yeah we got another cracked bird there tell you what when you hit these clubs in the middle there’s something to that Vibra cor and that soft steel it just feels really pure best crack of the day here this is 6 feet this is my pitch mark right here that one only rolled out actually rolled back but we’re on a little bit of a hill here again just great stopping power for the type of clubs these are little right to left very very makeable and I’d love to get one back here and I pulled it oh boy oh the Putter’s been so hot lately but it’s not doing me any favors right now but all we can do is just continue to hit good shots we keep doing that we’re going to score we’re going to go low we’re going to start making some putts we’ve got a par three here should be about the same distance let’s go ahead and get the rangefinder outbe a touch longer maybe let’s see 140 yeah and uh I mean into the wind I guess we go eight iron here oh nice high trajectory the hot launch does what it says and it may be just a little too long all right this is breaking hard to your left my right towards that water got to carry a little bit of a ridge here speed is the most important part of this putt really I got got the speed right but boy that broke I wanted a little tap in the way I’m putting right now this looks longer than it should be 3 feet yep I talked myself into a three putt there I think wow and that means we are one over our over under we’re three over for the round and we need a birdie bat the putting today just absolutely atrocious I know I’ve left a minimum of two maybe three Strokes on on the course here just putting poorly who are these clubs for definitely definitely going to be meant for your 20 plus handicaps in my opinion okay so if you’re just getting into golf could be a great Starter Set if you just have trouble getting the ball up in the air or making solid contact these would be very very forgiving clubs for you especially the irons and the wedges now when it comes to the driver the three-wood the three hybrid these can actually be played by better golfers in my opinion I got a little unlucky here I’m actually in the bunker but I wasn’t going to try to challenge this par five and two anyways with this being an island green tons of water everywhere so we’re just going to hit a nice little layup shot get ourselves into position and hopefully then attack we need a birdie we need a bad so I’m right up here against the lip and I cannot take any chances of hitting that so I’ve actually got to switch here to n iron we got to get out of this bunker and get into position oh yes we have just barely I might add I’m really glad I switched clubs there some further out than I wanted to be here but I can make birdie from here I couldn’t make birdie if I would have hit that lip got to have about a 140 shot here and again wind is pretty good in my face right now got to make sure I cover the water we got to go eight iron all right eight iron in hand 140 got to keep it under that wind well we’re going to have that birdie putt this is going to be a nailbiter guys say I’ve enjoyed these clubs a lot these clubs I think have done the job and I think my Putters let it down a little bit but we’ve got another putt here we are exactly pin High either way I’ve really enjoyed these clubs and I hope you’ve enjoyed this review make sure to hit that subscribe button and turn on your
