  1. After we won I turned on the Padres game to watch them beat the Braves and I heard their broadcasters say “not to take anything away from the Phillies, but they’ve only played 3 teams over .500…” wtf does that mean!? Don’t forget that we swept the Padres and they just lost to them!!! 😂😂😂😂

  2. Just as an aside, I love Ruben Amaro. The dude just embodies Philly sports. Never was a premier player, never got really got much attention or fanfare at all compared to many of his teammates during his years here with the Phils. But he was one of those players who just quietly worked his butt off for his entire career to at least make sure that he could hold down his position in the outfield whenever he was called upon, and was always one of those guys who seemed willing to do whatever was asked of him in order to help the team succeed. Not to mention, he grew up right here in NE Philly, played the vast majority of his career here, and THEN came back to be a key member of the front office who gave us our first WS victory in 28 years. Getting to see him still here with us and now covering the Phils feels like everything come perfectly full circle for him(and for us middle-aged & older fans lol), and I just couldn't be happier for him and hope he genuinely enjoys his current gig as much as I love seeing him in it. ❤

  3. 32-14, 18Gs over .500. Pitching is sporting a 3.17 era good for 3rd best in Baseball.

Appointing Rob Thompson Manager was the best move the Phightins could have done. He has had a Calming effect on this team. Yes it's early, Very Early in the season but Thompson is a Manager of the Year Candidate.

Plus E.Sosa has been Fantastic filling in for the injured T.Turner.

  4. Sosa might be able to play every damn position, but that doesn’t mean he won’t make a billion errors in the process. I don’t know why none of them seem to notice that 🙄

  5. How can you not love this team? I know it's early but man this feels like our year. Pitching has been our downfall and this group we have this year is the best we've had and arguably the best in baseball.
