there’s no wonder you’re struggling with the half pit shot if you’re not standing like this stop scratching your head and use this exact technique to play the half shot so it’s that easy let me explain your hips so if your feet are flared like this look at my range of motion in my hips now if I put my toes in look how much this range of motion is reduced now if I don’t move my hips look how much I can move my upper body now to complete a full swing I obviously have to have some hip turn that’s what you do on a full shot now the idea this setup is that we reduce your hip turn to reduce how much your upper body moves so it’s dead easy Point your Trail toe just in front of your lead toe and put your weight 60/40 on your lead side just as I’m doing here and automatically it will reduce how far back you can go because you’re reducing your hip turn in the golf swing it’s the easy way to play the half shot

I’ll give it a “shot”
That is an excellent suggestion; and it undeniably will enhance the percentages of a positive outcome. Quite superb, thanks, it also reduces the risk of getting your head caught up your backside; which is nice…!!
Yes that was a clever video.
This tip worked perfect today. I can only recommend to try it out.

I've never seen a tip like this before. I can't wait to try in on Sunday!
Worked for me.
That is also how you should putt!!!! Stop squeaking up to the ball so much!!! It makes it sooo much harder to see the hole and actually judge lines/distance
That’s how I do it from time to time
