we got to start uh at the Tottenham Stadium uh you all know presumably what the setup was City needed to win to move ahead of Arsenal going into the the the last uh weekend of the season last 90 minutes as things stand City have a two-point lead over Arsenal which means that if they equal or uh better Arsenal’s result they will become Champions come what may uh however Arsenal still have a better goal difference yeah which means that if City draw or lose and Arsenal win Arsenal become Champions now we kind of wanted to I guess everybody’s going to know what this is heading into Sunday I hope we don’t get some crappy damp squid uh squid rather um Manchester City are playing West Ham and Arsenal are playing Everton Everton there you go ever so two mid-table size and Everton would be mid-table if not for the points penalty nothing to ask for yeah um I hope it gets exciting and here here’s a reason why it might here’s the stat that I found all by myself Manchester City have played 18 home games in the Premier League this season right they have drawn five of those 18 games yeah four of those games that they’ve drawn have been a against London clubs there’s only six London clubs five of them have been there four out of five have drawn at thead West Fulham is the only one who hasn’t West Ham unless I’m mistaken are very much a London Club to the point they play at the London Stadium right they’re perhaps the most London Club so maybe Dave Morris no no but I I’m saying it’s not a foregone conclusion right no but whether it was a London club or a Manchester club or a Liverpool Club it would not matter you would go and say City favor can City drop points against West Ham or against whoever they would play this weekend at home on Sunday where they have to win they’ve done it before they’ve never lost in that position they want to we Brighton when they had to they beat Aston Villa two years ago even if they were two n down with 15 minutes to go they still managed to do it he might not be straightforwards he might be a bit tense at times but there’s no no way no way City are not beating West Ham on Sunday all right you heard it here famous last words here famous last words from Joel I think it’s possible I think it’s football I think a lot of weird stuff can happen uh I want to talk about the game uh itself against Spurs because I thought you know we talked about how when Arsenal played uh Liverpool at the weekend it was like all right no frills eyes on the prize let’s remain conc United sorry uh let’s remain super concentrated not screw this up and I feel like City went into the Spurs game in the same way that was one of those games where we did not necessarily see a lot of Daring attacking patterns none of the stuff that we often see we just saw a lot of focus and then Kevin De brri kind of ghost away from the defender creates space for himself and sets up Holland early in the second half um but it was very professional then the second goal came you know in garbage time from Holland it was interesting to hear pep after the game saying the first half we were not good because there was too much nerves that the players were too nervous because you think and we’ve said it that it’s been one of the narratives City will win this title and this title race because they’ve been there before they so experience entitled races and yet even pep says the first half of Spurs we were not ourselves it was much better in the second half because the first half they were very nervous and it’s human beings he said and it’s normal some Superstition maybe too given the record at that Stadium maybe it’s true that they were not good in the first half and to be fair that goal as good as the movement from the bru is the cross the tap in for Highland it’s mistakes defensively by Spurs to let the fen cross for example go through their box even not nobody picks up the run from the Brun and I think Vicario should do much better because everybody in the whole world knew exactly what de Brun would do and yet he still gone past Vicario Vicario did make some good saves the first one was to balance it out with the kind guy Spurs obviously also had a bunch of people uh Missing the other big narrative from this is that there’s two other big points which we’ll get into more in the G Jules podcast one is hongman son missing a one-on-one that is the that is literally the one-on-one it’s the defining moment of the Season which defines the season and you’re not GNA have it go it’s on for all the reasons other one an poao visibly annoyed with the fact that a lot of Tottenham fans you know uh started were singing like after they can see the goal he start singing are you watching Arsenal and it’s almost like they seemed like more intent and we could be over egging this narrative a little bit uh more intent on stopping Arsenal from winning the title I mean that’s called the Rival the game themselves yeah yeah well and ultimately win yeah they then winning the games themselves [Music]

  1. Everyone is talking about if City is gonna lose to west ham, what about the possibility of Arsenal losing or drawing to Everton? Which is arguably more in form than west ham.

  2. No PL game is a guarantee and tempting the football Gods to prove otherwise, has happened time after time after time. I’m hoping City win, but by no means is it a foregone conclusion just as it is with Everton and Arsenal. Football is a humbler and anything can happen

  3. Idk, I mean that’s what they said vs QPR and they almost bottled. Same in 2022 and they almost bottled again.

  4. Most of Westham' s players are thinking of the beach already. On another note,Everton might want to spoil the party for Arsenal, like what they did against Liverpool, singing " you lost the title at Goodison".Let us see what happens.

  5. You all want Arsenal to win it. You need to stop with your stupid statistics. This is football, anything can happen. Either Arsenal or Man City can loose the last game. So, let us neutrals enjoy the finish.

  6. I'd love to see a twist on Sunday. But if we're being honest, Everton is a tougher opponent than West Ham these days.

  7. Most of the media want to create the sensationalism of City losing/drawing this game. I can understand the reasons behind it but also please give Everton beating/drawing Arsenal a possibility 🤣
edit – consider the pressure on Arsenal (this will be their first ever big moment in over 20 years)

  8. When it was Brighton, Assna fans said City would drop points, City won… Then it was Fullham, City won, then it became Spurs, Assna went as far as calling themselves a Spurs fan for a day.. What happened? City won again, Hope all you want, the 4peat is on.

  9. City tend to put fans through it on the final day. Qpr, villa, even went behind against brighton on final day when needing to win.

  10. People ignoring the fact that this is not a must win/draw needed for west ham. These guys are thinking about vacations and time off. West ham about to get obliterated

  11. Is funny that some folks are too bitter in real life that they even bring their bitterness and hate into football. most of these guys hate pep and man city to an extent that they find it very hard to applaud Pep for his football coaching IQ, they are always fining silly and nonsense excuses to tarnish the good work pep is doing. let them cry more. 😂

  12. WHY CAN'T YOU TALK ABOUT A POSSIBLE ARSENAL LOSS AS WELL!!
….so unfair on city. City are going to win it comprehensively. C'mon! They know that they HAVE TO WIN. C'mon!!
