the ability to get on base I think that’s a tremendous model for our guys to be able to continue to follow and I I you know like he’s going to have benefit I’m confident of this on the field with what he’s going to do with his production but the residual benefit of how he’s going to work how he’s going to see the game how he’s going to talk and grow other people around him including Jackson I I don’t think there’s any question there going to be value in that as well here comes Luis arise for the first time on a Padre’s uniform boy what a difference just having him at the top of the lineup what it does for Mike Shelt and the lineup his presence alone what it does for the clubhouse everybody’s excited and he is stepping up to the plate lines this one to right field and that is headed to the right field corner he is headed for second base as McCarthy digs it out welcome to San Diego Louisa rise a double in his first a b can you write a script any better the bottom line is that the kid can hit middle in at 93 look at him spin out look at how compact he is how quick he is with those hands this is lying to left and it’s in for a base hit and AR rise is two for two taking it the other way how fired up is he wow you can see it you can see in the teammates and the coaching staff and this going the other way and there’s a lot of love right there beautiful lead off single after the double in the first inning so at the corners in our third look at Luis arise reaches out lines it to left field of base hit from third cups bog guards Padres take a three nothing lead Luis arise is three for three in his Padre’s debut ladies and gentlemen boys and girls this is not a replay this is the third hit of the night for Louisa rise causing Havoc driving in a run putting pressure on the opposition here he is again stay tuned the onew pitch is to right center field blooped it’s falling fast and it’s in for a hit first Padre to ever have four hits in their Padre’s debut Luis rise remember that name this kid is remarkable spectacular fun to watch oh he went up top he got jammed but the way they were positioned in the Outfield deaden this ball just enough to drop in there for a base knock

  1. Man screw the Marlins. They gave up the best hitter in baseball for prospects. That who knows if they'll even make the team.

  2. Crazy how white people love getting all these brown boys on their team until those brown boys start moving into their neighborhoods😂

  3. Congrats to the Padres for getting a Gwynn esque hitter. Any team would love to have Arraez and I’m sure the Padres are fine with what they gave up for him.

  4. Someone save the Marlins’ fandom and franchise. Bruce Sherman is simply another variant of Loria and every other slimy team owner(despite the former being in an advantageous market like Miami, ESPECIALLY as a baseball market)and the hiring of Peter Bendix was clearly for the purpose of ensuring the bottom line.
