    in terms of rookie year, I think a lot of people slightly overrated blakes rookie year because he was an all star in his rookie year as where wemby in his rookie year wasn’t, but man cmon wemby in his rookie year was light years ahead of blakes rookie year in terms of rookie years

    Wemby THEORETICALLY should have the 3rd best rookie season all time behind Wilt and Kareem.

    He averaged 29.7 minutes his rookie year. All the other legendary players in years past averaged somewhere around 35+ minutes.

    Wemby’s Per-36 minutes is:

    26 ppg
    13 rpg
    4.7 apg
    4.3 bpg

    23.1 PER (highest rookie PER in like the last 25 years.

    That’s fucking insane. I say theoretically because he didn’t actually play those minutes. What he did in less than 30 minutes a game, he still has to be a top 5 rookie season.
