When Vice first released the new VICE PRO PLUS DRIP range of golf balls they where designed to go head to head with the Titleist pro v1… will they do that? what if I told you there was a golf ball that will kill off the Titleist pro1 because it is better cheaper and it’s a Wilson Triad hi everyone my name is James robton welcome back to this YouTube channel today we’re talking balls and we’re talking the gold list from Golf Digest now these when we first tested them Chris we absolutely loved them the first generation we tested them out in Dubai a couple of years ago and we’re blown away by them by the performance by the feel and of course by the price so we now have the 2024 Wilson Triad and when I first tested it it almost like flies straight doesn’t it it has a little bit of a CG technology in there which I’m not sure how they do it legally but they do and I’m not sure if we just played well that day I mean we actually put those balls into play for quite some time until we lost the majority of what we bought yeah today are these going to be our balls for 2024 guys get in the comments Below have you tried the Wilson Triad will you try the Wilson Triad and what are we going to shoot today with the Wilson Triad is it a TR hard yeah mate it’s a TR hard so first point of call with talking balls is how a ball feels and these feel incredibly soft but they’re always going to do because they’re a three-piece ureth ball so are the same build as a Titleist proy one the tp5 is of course a five piece urethan ball urethan is the cover of the ball materials it’s quite an expensive plastic so I don’t know how Wilson managed to make these golf balls for the price that they do but I’m a huge believer in trying to save money as well valuing golf at the moment is sometimes there if you look deep enough for it but other times it’s just not there so we’re going to take on the opening holes at wly partk golf club we’re going to see what we can score and we’re going to grade this ball out of five will get a five star review I mean straight away how good did that sound that that’s G miles as well it does say it’s all the longest generically feel as well so if you try and test a golf ball say with headphones on you won’t be able to tell the feel it’s all in audio feedback that felt fantastic I played a lovely high four iron but Chris could still play a nice low penetrating three iron so you see we’re getting Best of Both Worlds there could this be the best ball for everyone and it’s not a basketball or a tennis ball it is a Wilson golf ball he should have actually said volleyball it wasn’t a basketball yeah spoing is the basketball isn’t it spolding thank golf basketball of the NBA so it’s very important to test a golf ball for numbers to see what ball speed you get what spin rate you get and just what launch angle you getting as well but I think it’s equally important if not more important to test the golf offer and if we do read the back of the box cuz Chris is living in a box you can see we have the golf B you’ve been waiting for it has a highi construction a high friction urethane cover and tri balance waiting that is the technology for me which I can’t quite get my head round but the weight is moved from the core to the mantle and the cover creates a uniform density through out and that eliminates heavy spots for pinpoint accuracy and straighter shots generally straighter puts but again having tested these if you haven’t tested them I don’t know I really really enjoyed them last year and me and Chris have been kind of saying I can’t wait for the new Triad to come out because we’ heard about it quite a while ago and it’s something that we were very very excited about so the fact that we’ve got them now I’m genuinely excited to test these I mean the stoppage I’ve got there is quite ridiculous and this is for I think the biggest thing is obviously getting hold of them they’re
