How to hit draws with your iron – Phil Michelson golf tip #golftips #golftechnique #golfingtips

Phil melson in my opinion is the best shot maker of all time here’s a secret he shared on how to hit draws with your irons all shitty ball Strikers will start with their hands back you’re set up for failure like that right you can flip over your hands and there’s a lot of face rotation there one way to draw with path is to take my rear arm like table tennis in table tennis you know you get a Top Spin wob I’ll take my rear arm and I’ll just let it rotate over here’s what he’s talking about and how to drill it yourself Phil is encouraging you to fill the trail arm rotate to hit draws not the lead arm I’ll have students practice an inside out Top Spin forehand with a pickle ball then we’ll do the same thing with the golf ball Trail arm only not full speed feeling the forearm rotate save this and practice it the next time you pick up a club so you can play better golf

  1. Please stop saying things like of all time…
You didn't watch the great players of the 20th century.
You haven't played with their equipment.
Phil is good compared with other players of the last 15 years.
    Thats pretty much it.

  2. Having the club face slightly closed to the swing path at impact is how you hit a draw. It’s extremely easy, there’s no need to reinvent the wheel. The last thing novice players need is to be focusing on flinging their wrists around. Teach them how to close the face and how to hit on an in to out swing path. They’ll be snap hooking it in minutes.

  3. Genuine question….why do you need the pickle ball part? Couldn't you just do the golf club 1 hand and have them feel that instead of having different objects with different balls, different feels and different heights?
