all right it’s just an overall summation of the round there and obviously nice to get one on the last to increase the lead yeah I mean um definitely you know I got off to a good start on the scorecard but definitely was like a little you know a little shaky I was feeling it but yeah I mean that bird in the last is uh was huge I mean I I was kind of in uh not a great spot over there on the right but hit a great shot and finished off with a really nice pot you talked about being shaky though like that the par on eight I mean that was that one of those you know getting up and down out of the bunker there kind of felt like a birdie to to kind of keep the momentum going yeah I mean uh when I got in the bunker it was harder than I was expecting in the book it looks all right but um one of those you know I was better than long shorts all right but yeah I mean um I thought I was going to steal one on uh 14 with the chip in but I didn’t quite snake um but yeah I mean at the end of the day I would have I would have signed for six at the end of before I te off for sure yeah I just want to ask how hard is it for you to have kind of been remain patient on the PGA tour waiting for a week like this to happen knowing your ability yeah I mean it’s a good question I I I don’t know I mean it’s been hard just because i’ I’ve struggled with like you know it sounds stupid but I just like the club didn’t feel good in my hands for a couple weeks and you just kind of get on a bad run of you know maybe practicing too hard and stuff like that but you know I’ve worked hard these last couple weeks and just not overdoing it and uh and trying to simp simplifi things and yeah just what’s been different this week have you noticed anything different in your uh your attitude your preparation anything like that I mean ever since Z you know since Zurich I’ve been in a good mood like just everything’s been fun like all been fun and um yeah I mean honestly Zurich I felt like things were starting to change just cuz I was having like you know playing with your buddy playing with a good group of guys and we it was a fun week and ever since then I feel like it’s just been um a little bit easier so um you know I’ve obviously been trying to do the right things on the Range and just trying to not overdo it but make sure I feel like I’m leaving in a good spot so yeah just you know same as usual just in a in a better frame of mind yeah and know I guess just how excited are you what you know how would you turn your emotions now knowing what’s facing you tomorrow and your opportunity I mean um you know I practiced all those days at home for a day like tomorrow um it’s going to be it’s going to be hard I mean there’s a lot of good guys behind me and um I’m going to have to bring it but you know if I was if I was here at the beginning of the week and you said this was going to happen I’d be I’d be all in so uh I’m excited I mean it’s it’s what I what I play the game for the tour folks explained is that because you got the eight starts back in I guess 2022 technically you’re not qu a rookie on the tour do you feel like a rookie yeah I feel like a rookie um yeah I mean those those eight starts were huge for me um you know I left school with no status at all and played good and grinded it out and you know I’ve kind of gone through gone through the works of how you’re supposed to how you’re supposed to do it so um yeah I mean those those events are huge and uh to answer your question yes I still feel like a rookie yeah any family friends out here this week um my agents in town and that’s about it so um yeah I’m sure they’re watch in on TV but uh no just actually we we rented a house up about 10 minutes a couple buddies but they’re all playing in the tournament so they don’t really count say what does the Saturday night sleeping on the lead look like for you tonight uh I’ll go back and watch whatever basketball and hockey are on tonight and uh grab a grab a quick dinner and same as usual any games particular you working for ni last night but that didn’t go too well so um I’ll have to save that for tomorrow but um yeah I mean I don’t know I I the well the Thunder are playing right now aren’t they I think I think they’re at 3:30 so I don’t know what the score is but I’ll root for the Thunder too and newer look for you any inspiration on the mustache uh I’ve kind of just given up a little bit uh this week you know I uh we did team stashes and Zer I’ve been keeping it so uh that’s the that’s the reason one last thing you’re talking about watching basketall chilling out you expect to be nervous going in tomorrow for sure I don’t think I mean I’d be I’d be stupid to say I’d show up on the first te and it’s going to be easy so um I’m I’ll be nervous and I’ll I’ll be I’ll be ready as I can be for tomorrow so it’s a this is a first year Golf Course for everybody on tour not just yourself so um is there anything about this golf course that brings out your game uh more than anything else uh I mean I think there’s some holes that I can get at that maybe other guys um are questioning and you know bunkers coming in here and there but I I like the course I think you know obviously there was a great turnout today too with fans and um yeah I think it’s just you know I like being by the beach I I went down to the beach this morning just walked around and killed some time so um yeah I think it’s just you know I just the weather’s been good it’s been good vibes this week so you mentioned your length you consider yourself one of the longer hitters on tour yeah when it when it’s hit solid it go it goes pretty far you got it all right thank you guys average six
