get this is where we BR well noo no no too well welcome to EMQ bets golf I’m Nikki Vegas here with Jimmy metricks and bmac as usual we’ve got a just a big Grand PGA Championship to discuss huge preview coming up for you lots of bets lots of talk uh let’s quickly oh first of all how how are my guys doing today we had some exciting golf we’re good ready for the next one we all each we all each had an individual fight with each other this weekend during the golf did times some good infighting it ended well I I I won the most money I’ve ever won on a golf bat I’m very War yep I uh I had a good I had a good showing as well we both had three units on Rory mroy um basically guaranteed he’ win the tournament he did um with a unbelievable performance on Sunday his fourth time taken down the Quail Hollow uh Wells Fargo Championship and uh just showed that you can overwhelm a golf course with distance it was one of the most wildly impressive displays of driving a golf ball I’ve ever seen and to couple that with improved iron play and clutch putting especially on Sunday and he ran away with this thing showing that him at Peak form is arguably the best golfer in the world uh obviously the consistency of Sheffer would would can you can put that up against anyone anytime anywhere any era but when Rory is fully on it is the coolest looking golf you can see and we saw that on a stretch from Holes eight through 15 that he played eight underpar and it was just it was insane and it was and it was validating for me mostly I guess because and this whole group who said that when this guy plays at its best and he hasn’t played his best it’s coming and it’ll happen and it finally happen so uh Jim what are your major takeaways from what you saw mostly on Sunday but from the whole tournament with Roy yeah I mean I think Xander Schley is who we thought he was um we we told you he cannot close out a tournament um I think Rory owes him a handshake and a big thank you because if he puts up a regular score on Saturday and Rory’s down four or five going into Sunday he has to press more he’s not as comfortable on those long putts that he buried all of um becomes a totally different game I’m not saying Rory doesn’t go shoot those minus8 and catch up to Xander and win which he definitely could have but it changes the tournament entirely if Xander plays more than two rounds wow I think that’s such a good point Jim uh yeah the weekend is not Xander’s friend he just didn’t do much on Saturday or Sunday Brendan what are you gonna say Jim’s dead on it’s the oneshot lead playing together entering Sunday allowed Rory to to play him with a lot of pressure like if you play with Rory maroy and it’s like that the mental pressure of this guy being 80 yards out ahead of you on half the holes and once he starts rolling all the the entire crowd is with him the momentum of golf you’re also a person who like has this builtup narrative now of of losing if Rory’s four or five shots back um even if they’re together Rory’s not able to play that way where it’s a back and forth I just need to beat him on this hole I just need to beat him on this hole it’s I need to press I need to go for every Green I need to take the heart Rory would have made more mistakes um Rory had that huge stretch where he didn’t have a bogey that’s different if Xander extends his lead a little more um and after that Rory played the most absolutely Preposterous golf you’ve ever seen he started cooking like you never seen Xander started feeling a little bit hard to really dump on Xander because he still beat the rest of the field by three shots I mean the guy right the guy is playing incredible golf he made some of the most unbelievable long iron shots I’ve ever seen on the two par five shots um on on seven and on 10 he put it to eight feet for Eagle on both holes it was insane yeah um so credit to him great tournament I think Jim basically nailed it with what he said though it was Xander’s tournament to win he let Rory be in it Sunday and then Rory just buried him um and it was really cool to watch I had so much fun and you know Zach and I made buckets and buckets of money because of it uh I do want to like rewind a tiny bit two weeks ago when we watched zurc I texted both of you guys and I said this tournament made Rory loosen up you could see him having fun I think Shane Lowry broke through that stress Rory hadit put on himself he had fun and you saw him play better Golf and I said he’s gonna win the next tournament and I just believed in it I put everything I had into that he was gonna um it helped that he played his favorite golf course in the world um but he did and that Rory mroy that’s the guy that we’ve been missing it’s also got to be nice wherever this guy goes uh I know that you know there’s a lot of anti- Rory sentiment out there it’s on Twitter on the internet there there is there’s a lot of Rory is so poisonous when you go when you go when you watch play no one has more support on the course from the crowd it’s got to be nice to have that going everywhere had helping your confidence there were 10 Rory chants for for one Xander chant on Sunday and when you’re struggling like Xander was it’s you know that that’s another factor that doesn’t help quite as much but but yeah these guys you made a great Point these guys played a whole different golf tournament they played their own separate little golf tournament um everyone else is scrambling for par everyone else is excited to get away with par these guys just made it it was technical Mastery watching them play the weekend together like I know Bry ended up pulling away winning by a lot of strokes but these guys were actually attacking pin positions these guys had birdie pucks they were strategically positioned and they were both pretty long off the tea so it was it was it was really fun almost watching these guys have their own separate duel I said it felt like a match play ironically on Sunday that stretch from 8 to 15 where he would have been seven up on those eight holes if it was match play so yeah he took the bull by the horns and he went out and won tournament you gota feel bad for Xander because it feels he feels almost snake bitten you you think he might walk away with this one with Scotty not in the field after all his top fives and top 10 this season a lot of second place finishes and the other best player in the world decides to finally turn it on um so uh poor X can’t pick up that dub it’s been almost two years now since he won the Genesis Scottish open in 2022 but um yeah amazing tournament shout out to our one of our viewers who follows our show religiously Stefan he told me that he switched his pick at the last second to Roy M and made a ton of money with us so well congratulations thank you for following yeah thank you for following just to touch on real quick the uh the Rory hate versus fandom um Rory’s fun to hate because he’s a bit of a smug [ __ ] but people love greatness so you’re always have the big crowds I don’t care if you’re the worst human on earth if you go out there and you shoot 5600 power every day you’re going to have a lot of love and when you’re that good and you’re not living up to potential the hate is gonna be big of course of course yeah so no I’m not I’m not calling anyone out I’m not saying it’s not deserved when there’s that when you he also puts so much Spotlight on himself too that it is fine to criticize like we’ve we’ve bashed him consistently on this show um you know but it’s a different kind of bashing and yeah yes yeah yeah but he you know he silenced all the recent critics the risk big reward for when you put yourself out there like that you’re either gonna take tons of criticism or tons of Praise yeah yeah and he still has another hurdle to clear which is getting that major uh drought off his back it’s been catch back up to Brooks yeah exactly so but yeah we saw an absolute masterful performance the entire weekend for mroy Saturday played extremely hard he goes out there shoots minus four to get within Touch of sh of shley and then he only shoots minus5 but it was really minus s the last hole was fairly inconsequential and he hit a pretty damn good shot that just happened to trickle in the water um so incredible performance for M to take down his 26 career pga2 or Victory heads into the PGA Championship with you’d think the most confidence possible but uh some issues going on with his personal life which we’ll touch on in a bit but yeah no it it’s it’s you’ll see you’ll see it’s it’s a really interesting parallel I’m going to draw later all right um all right do we need to recap anything else Nelly Corda didn’t win her six straight LPGA tournament rose rose Yang won which is pretty cool um her and uh the other lady were 100 shots ahead of third place is kind of cool um and then Chris gup who’s been my guy uh for two months wins the one tournament I didn’t bet him uh but still proud of being right about Chris gups rise yeah yeah he’s his length off the tea really made the difference at Myrtle Beach he had a eagle putt nearly every par five absolute Swagger King Chris G up with the open buttons with the two gold chains in the mustache I will say let’s hand out a couple other little Awards here Jim so sharp on Xander shle said last week I like him in this tournament he cannot win Jim bets him top five did a full three unit on it I believe so good bet there Jim you were dead on about that yeah we nailed we nailed the m r bet I had Ben on top rest of the world hit that one um and Taylor pendrith if he didn’t choke on Sunday I would also have hit the top Canadian so um little personal grievance even um I should have had that norin versus hin bet but he had to choke on 17 and 18 little disappointing with him dude a lot of people tank 17 and 18 being two hardest holes in the course made such swings at the end of everything it’s kind of awesome though because you want like there to be drama waiting you know yeah Bren why don’t you tell the audience about the parlay you hit uh yeah I I mean I had it’s rare that I put a big amount of money onto a parlay but I I did I just I parlayed uh um Xander and Rory top five and and Tommy Fleetwood top 20 and put a big chunk on it and hit it so that was pretty cool Tommy Fleetwood uh was outside the top 20 coming into Sunday worked his way all the way up to 8th um he was three clear of of being top 20 so I thought I was fine I thought I had it one uh bogie 17 Bogie’s 18 uh ends up in 15th if he doubled either of them I would have lost it uh so it got a little scary there yeah um but about 17 and 18 too um sunj was it sunj yeah on uh Saturday with the two crazy par saves yeah on 1 when he hit the pin yeah yeah yeah that was that was messed up chipped in from the bunker that was wild here’s what I here’s what I found pretty fascinating the field on 16 through 18 it’s called The Green Mile and it’s notoriously one of the hardest finishing stretch on the PJ tour the field played it an average of more than one overpar Rory played it minus one in four rounds that’s how you win a golf tournament really so it’s if excluding the 18th hole on Sunday all right yeah well last time he won this this tournament didn’t he play those three holes over par I believe so he also hit it in the creek twice where it didn’t go in the creek true he he got lucky on 18 a couple times but uh yeah but he also to move with the whole forest and everything so it all worked out let’s not we can’t We’re Not Gonna dive into everyone knows the Xander drop is a absolutely Preposterous multip M and then he took 10 pounds of pine straw and moved it away from I mean it was something we promised we weren’t going to spend eight years on Valla I mean on on Quail Halla we are going to spend eight years on balla yes so that brings us to the 106th edition of the PGA Championship bhalla Golf Club in Louisville Kentucky we got 7600 plus yards a par 71 was a par 72 last time this thing was played in 2014 but it’s been lengthened and one of the par fivs became a par four uh it’s a Jack Nicholas Design This is the fourth time the PGA Championship has hosted it we’ve got a field of 156 this week including 21 Club Pros the cut is going to be the top 70 and ties the average winning score here is minus 15 from the three prior playings here but reports are the course will play harder than it ever has uh we’ve got fast and firm BG grass greens pretty small green size based on uh your normal average PGA Tour green complexes super fast super firm Fairways thick unforgiving two- tiered rough lots of bunkers seven holes have water it almost has been compared to a lynx course out there in Kentucky the way the fairways run and the way the uh the Fescue rough is um I’ve seen reports about rain and lightning possibly threaten the course but the wind should be moderate uh I will say the softer course if it rains is going to make it easier because it’s supposed to be very hard but um we’ve got Brooks capka defending champion last year obviously Rory mroy won here in 2014 by a stroke Phil Mickelson was the runner up tiger won in 2000 and Mark Brooks who I don’t think I’ve ever heard of won in 1996 both those were in playoffs so all three former uh events here have either been in a playoff or decided by one stroke on the 18th hole so um maybe maybe we’re set up for a crazy finish uh Kea and JT Justin Thomas they’ve won five of the last seven combined PGA championships I thought that was a cool stat uh one more note OE batia won the junior PGA Title Here in 2018 with an eagle ho out chip in on 18 so um from what I’ve from what I’ve read Tory Pines Quail Hollow are the comps so you go right from a course that plays kind of similar sets up kind of similar from Quail Hollow right here to Valhalla um Brendon uh yeah so let me do a couple rewinds I I have some disagreement with some of the information it’s not wrong information just some of the reads on what it means um one uh I the weather is a thing we should just get out of the way the weather it’s raining there today it’s going to rain there tomorrow Thursday is gonna be beautiful uh probably going to rain on Friday maybe a little rain on Saturday Sunday beautiful um so it looks like we’re gonna have a beautiful Thursday Friday is pretty much definitely gonna have some rain Saturday is a maybe Sunday clear uh wind is going to be pretty light the whole time yeah so let’s get that out of the way okay um this golf course I think it’s a shitty golf I think the golf course sucks um I think it is very cool visually it’s a beautiful golf course it’s a golf course for the eyes for the viewer I think it will play well on TV I think it will make for a very good competitive uh tournament I think the scores will be reasonable like somewhere in that but between – 10 and-3 range but somewhere in there uh I just think the actual course design of most of the holes is stupid and bad uh the the course is just it’s not that compelling of a golf course it’s not that there’s not a lot of differential between holes um there’s so many holes where it’s going to come down to a iron shot between 175 and 200 yards on like every hole um and I that to me is like a little generic uh it that’s gonna happen over and over there’s also two of its most signature holes are Auto layups to a wedge in and like no other option 13 is the dumbest hole I’ve ever seen on a golf course 13 is stupid it’s going to be the hole they highlight looks pretty because as an island green with a waterfall and the big like stone circle around it every single player will hit a seven iron off the T so no risk at all right up to the edge and then they’re just hitting a 60 degree or 56 onto the green it’s basically 17 at TPC sass but where you do an obligatory little swing before your t- shot um it’s just I don’t know what’s the point of it Par Four you might as well just put the te up there and make it a par three like there’s no point of the first shot there’s no no one can hit at the Green you that’s stupid so you’re just hitting a seven iron and then attacking the I don’t get the point of the ho um okay that being said I do think the compelling part of this course is 16 17 18 are actually pretty awesome golf holes so it’s going to be exciting at the end and 18 being a par five that’s scorable but has water um will be very cool uh so all that being said the score is basically 90 % of the holes are going to come down to iron shots from 175 to 200 yards um and I think that allows for a lot of different guys to have opportunities if they get hot with that and on TV the the tournament to be very exciting but for the golfers there’s not a lot of nuance to what they’re doing there’s not a lot of risk off the tea there’s almost no risk off the tea uh on this golf course until you get to the back nine um there’s liter no risk off the te on the front line um so there’re being all those problems I just think the golf course isn’t a major championship golf course it’s like whatever the scores will look like it but like there’s just not that much Nuance to it also I’ve seen a lot of reports on these are Twitter people but who are there who said the first cut of rough is like not hard at all it’s like regular ass rough um and so the second cut of Ruff is big and thick but it’s like disaster shot you have to hit the worst shot ever to even be in it um so they’re saying like guys off the tea are like all the practice round nobody’s having a problem with where they land off the tea at all um so that’s an interesting thing that’s my thoughts my thought is this tournament’s going to come down to it is small green so someone getting hot with long irons it’s going to be long irons and 20 foot putts over and over and over I think scrambling is important too scrambling some yes because if you miss the because long irons you’re usually gonna miss the green so scrambling will matter but a guy who gets hot with the long irons is just going to have the a 20 foot putt over and over and over and over again basically sounds like Brook’s cap go to me it’s a very if you think of that it’s a Xander Scotty Brooks ludvig uh kind of course um but it’s also a Hideki matama kind of course but I don’t know what’s going on with him those are my thoughts on the course I think it’s a bad golf course I think it’s look sick I I really wasn’t expecting to hear that take um but I guess you know Jim and I did play it virtually last night and that as you were describing it I kind of agree it felt repetitive it felt like the same thing a lot um there was one whole the long the 2 the 26 65 yard 14th par three I find is I think it’s the most fascinating hole it’s got about a 40 foot drop off 4550 foot drop off to the to the hole from the tbox and obviously that is a long shot 265 whether you’re a pro or not um so I think that hole could be really fun so I do think there’s more nuance and excitement on from like 13 to 18 yeah I get your point about totally agreed the best holes are the end of the back nine absolutely though don’t say 13 is the dumbest hole in the T hit it in the water it might cause compelling golf my issue is with the the whole they there’s no point at all in the t- shop yeah it’s if you can’t Gamble and try to drive it it makes no sense I agree uh Jim I think it’s funny that Brennan calls out seven particularly though because that one actually does have a little bit of nuance with the the split Fairway either go left Seven’s awesome seven is the best hole in the front nine isn’t that the one you were calling out though no no I’m calling out 13 13 is the worst seven before no seven is the best hole on the front nine seven I like a lot I really like seven uh the par fives are the best holes on this course the par fives are challenging yeah um you’re actually gonna see a lot more mistakes on the par fives than anything the par fors are all the same thing all of them are easy t-shot and your your only decision is like do I put my t-shot to where I’m 170 or to where I’m 195 and then everyone’s going to have the whole tournament on every Par Four is going to come down to how good are we at 170 to 195 every hole is GNA be one this is definitely not a course that requires you to have a hot driver I agree you don’t you don’t have to hit driver every hole if you if you don’t feel like it uh and to at all Rory did in 2014 when he when he won but it well either need to be really long off the te or you need to be long out of the Fairway but you have to be long at one of them yeah and and keep in mind when we talk about long irons 190 yard iron for these guys is still a eight iron or a seven iron like that’s the range we’re talking I’m just saying that’s the irons we’re playing in this tournament every sh every major every important shot is going to be that shot agreed agreed um yeah between 175 and 225 seems like the general the general iron shots we’re talking about here so not it’s not going to be driver wedge like you see you don’t all have to agree with this is just my hot take about the thing too no I actually I actually think you make a solid point it’s not something I considered thinking about but um yeah Valhalla Golf Course shitty course I I’m on board I it’s beautiful it’s a beautiful course it is aesthetically pleasing yeah it definitely is and I think it will make for a competitive golf tournament I just think for the golfers it is it’s taking a lot of the game out of it if you want to I I still think I still think a complete well-rounded game is necessary and I still think that will be tested but I I understand what you’re saying with the repetition of par fors they’re all a lot of a lot of them can opt to just have a0 yard shot on every hole if they want to like you can take you can just choose I’m not going to take any risk I’m gonna hit my three-wood off the or my fivewood off the te and just be at 200 over here in the Fairway you even even hit your mini driver yeah I’m just it’s there’s not a lot of fear off the tea yeah I I I honestly the article I read from Golf Digest said that uh that the that the primary cut of rough was gonna play thicker than it has in the past years I guess that’s not true one thing that might change that is it raining today it raining tomorrow could by the weekend have that be a problem um I saw like everyone’s pretending there’s this like hay oh look out for that the hay is like 10 miles off the off the you like you’re in the hay you get bigger problems yeah well I mean there there is you know the longer you drive it the more variance there is to it you miss they were talking about the rough being like three different types of grass that are all terrible though I don’t know if that’s unique to this place but they’re talking about it like it is they got Kentucky blueg grass bent grass and what is it Ry zoa grass one of the problems is a lot of like so you saw last week um if if you aren’t Rory maroy almost every aggressive t-shot you have to avoid or carry a bunker that’s like exactly the distance of your t-shot right this course all of those bunkers are at like 250 so they’re almost a threat to nobody it’s it well there is there is something you’re kind of missing on with that uh there are deeper Fairway bunkers Beyond normal Landing points because the roll out on these Fairways is supposed to to be one of the highest on the PGA tour like and they got rid of all rough callers leading into bunkers so that’s why they’re calling it kind of a links feel because the ball will just kind of carry into a bunker so the it’s not as strictly easy off the te as you say but those first set of bunkers are not going to be in play I agree yeah we’re gonna see how it plays this is my read coming in I don’t know this uh this is just I did a lot of looking at the golf course I went hold to hole and and I looked at some of the old data on it I played it on the video game um my read on it just is like I find that almost every hole especially the front nine you’re doing the same thing over and over again yeah yeah no that’s fair that’s fair I do think you said the par FES are the best holes in the course I don’t disagree there I do think maybe one of the deciding factors on this golf course this week could be how the players handle the par 3s there are five par 3s and all of them are over 190 yards so it’s not there’s no layup uh there’s no gimme there’s no gimme pars out here on the par on the par 3 so I get what you’re saying um let’s just both agree the par fours might not be too interesting but par fivs and Par 3es certainly feel interesting to me yeah it’s going to be the first hole is like insanely easy Par Four so you should see a ton of birdies on the first hole the third hole is also really easy the second hole is a par five but it’s kind of a hard par five um I think you’re gonna see a lot of people minus minus three through four or five holes um and then have trouble out there but through four or five holes I think you’re gonna see a lot of minus threes yeah well I’m I’m really excited and we finally we know that we have one channel will be handling the coverage pretty much ESPN and then CBS at at on Saturday Sunday we’ve got a good broadcasting schedule coming up ESPN I’ll give them credit they always do a really good job when they get the majors and full from 8 in the morning yeah s in the morning I thought but yeah yeah it’s you know how sad it is that we have to be happy about that though that we can actually walk all the golf I know but I’m so pumped and we got like Thursday bright and early like I think four of the groups that start between eight and nine are like big time guys yeah yeah yeah so definitely looking forward to it let’s uh let’s pull up the lines and start talking ad nauseum about everybody who we see all right that’s probably my favorite part to do you kind of did it one little narrative just do the four big guy narrative the Rory is coming off backto back wins Scotty coming off backto back wins Brooks coming off a win we got three of the biggest golfers in the world all coming off of wins um all seemingly hot uh Scotty it would be his his third major his second major in a row Rory it would be his fifth major his first in a long time Brooks it would be his sixth major and his fourth PGA Championship which would time with which would time with Tiger Woods for for third most PGA Championship and technically also should mention for Jordan spe it would be a career Grand Slam oh wow okay gonna get it so cool stuff out there get it but just very cool stuff out there in terms of that kind of like that is a cool going for big things let’s let’s let’s also mention we breeed by it but kin Justin Thomas winning five of the last seven of PGA championships is pretty pretty crazy like you don’t you you think of them as in in a bubble you don’t think of the totality of it so when I read that I was like gez they’ve really Domin the two guys really dominated this tournament yeah yes pretty shocking so all right um let’s see here let’s let’s pull it up let’s get talking about the boys all right I gotta get rid of the ball all right here’s the lines fellas um somehow the man we’ve talked the least about uh I guess because he had a baby this week Scotty Sheffer leads the way at Plus 400 uh Rory plus 750 Xander plus 14 John ROM Brooks kka LV o uh that is our top of the board here um obviously super favorite heavy and then we get into just wildly long odds uh thoughts before we go into you know Earth if you you want to just dive yeah I mean it’s we’ve got the top five guys are all such heavy hitters it is so it is so tough yeah you know what I mean though I mean the guys under 2,000 there I mean these are all studs I mean Xander I mean yeah I think the Winner’s probably coming out of those top six guys those are the best golfers in the world right there yeah I still want to separate abber from the conversation yeah I think the top five are truly like The Proven top five like Elite a level above everyone else golfer this is aberg’s only his second ever career start what he do in his first one he’s the trajectory lvic is the trajectory to be one of those guys and that’s proven by the fact that that’s where he is in the odds that’s incredible um and actually his odds have moved a lot I think it’s because of his knee problem um uh but he was 1600 uh a day ago yeah he he was that’s correct um they still talking knee problems and that’s what we took last week off oh uh on on Twitter uh someone who was watching following him in his practiced round yesterday said no less than 15 times in one hole he grabbed his knee whoow I will I will tell you one thing before I saw that exact report that Brendan just brought up he was on my outright board but I had to remove him because that information was disturbing so was the first hole and they said he birdied the hole which knee is it I’m not sure um yeah so but look get back to my point these top five guys you really have to if from a betting strategy if you’re gonna bet Scotty sheffler we talked about this at the Masters you handicap you kind of handcuff yourself it’s so hard to bet anyone else who’s short odds as well like uh you know just from the math making sense on payouts and actually winning money so in my opinion if outside of the show outside of the show where we have our format and our units and all that stuff I’ve totally taken the approach this week every single one of my bets cuz I’m scared of Scotty obviously do win without and I don’t want to bet Scotty so outside of the show every real bet I’ve placed is win without sheffler which they have an individual win without sheffler on FanDuel it doesn’t really affect the odds too significantly to make it hurt that bad so every single bet I’m placing is without him uh and they also have a win without the top four which is kind of cool um if Scotty mooy Sheffer and Kea are is the win without the top four on FanDuel so yeah from from a betting standpoint I you either have to bet Scotty in my mind and a couple long shots or you can just eliminate Scotty and bet a bunch of people how you wish that’s the way I think of it does anyone have a contradictory idea to that no I’m gonna agree with you in two ways quickly um I think if you are going to bet Scotty Sheffer you have to put 50% of your betting amount for the tournament on that bet and then and then you have to choose to do your other bets if you’re doing winners um without like in the without Scotty Way um or if you’re going to bet any of the other three you bet that guy however you want and then you do your other bets in the win without that four I think is a smart way to actually aggressively bet this tournament um there’s a way to to double down on that too if you do a win without Sheffer and then one without the top four you can double double down on your on your winnings yeah if you really like it a certain way it depends on what your gut is I think there’s also if you’re going real long you don’t need to worry about it at all because of how long they are right and there’s a lot of really good golfers in the real long we’re gonna get there I love some of them um so yeah there’s a lot of ways to bet this but Scotty makes it hard because the plus 400 and because of how good he is um but do as it do with it as you will I I’ve worked him into my sheet here but it’s not as an outright winner um so let’s talk about that um well Jim I want to hear Jim’s thoughts on this first on the on Scotty just the general what we were on the general sentiment of how to bet him whether you would what do you think and then we can yeah I mean you we’ll find out shortly I mean I’m going Scotty heavy and then a couple of long shots I think that’s the way to play it well bring us in then yeah I have three units on Scotty sheffler as my number one bet um I think he’s the best golfer in the world I think you have to bet the best golfer in the world when he’s in the field um I think he’s riding High he’s won what three out of his last four and he second four last he had he just had a child I mean everything is good in Scotty land um I think he’s gonna come in loose I think he’s gonna come in ready to play a little Golf and I don’t see any reason not to bet him until he starts losing something I I think I think most people would have a kid and have trouble blocking out the noise the entire week I don’t think the I think this guy is completely completely uh unaffected by all the outside noise I think I think he just knows how to focus and lock and he just has this even temperament with he’s I’ve never seen him really R I’ve seen get angry one the most grounded people I’ve ever seen in my life yeah yeah so I I think if all that outside noise all the is he going to be distracted by having a kid I actually think maybe 0.001% of is affected by it I I don’t think this is the type of guy so I actually don’t think that should factor into to betting him so I got no problem with betting Scotty how could I but um I think I think it helps him that the child is born he’s not worried about is Meredith okay do I need to run home any second like everything is good in his world he can just go play golf yeah and it sort of is a nice little like distract him from the uh the weight of like you could win back-to-back Majors you could Elevate yourself into the real elite C category like he’s got other things so he doesn’t actually have to think about the pressure of the moment because there’s more important other stuff go work yeah um now I said I saw a lot of people online saying last week Rory doesn’t win if Scotty plays I actually don’t agree because of how well Roy played on Sunday I think Scotty finishes like minus 15 and is in second place um but so I do think it’s going to take a superhuman effort to defeat Scotty sheffler at this tournament because Scotty even bad Scotty finishes like Seventh Place okay and we haven’t seen bad Scotty since February probably so yeah it is it it does feel like it’s one guy versus 155 right now anything to add no I mean I think we’ve covered Scotty I mean like you like you guys said if you’re going to bet Scotty you got to do a big percentage of your your investment on it he’s probably the only winner you’re doing straight up uh the win withouts are a great way to bet other guys but if you’re betting Scotty you got to go big money on it yeah so I obviously obviously Scotty is the favorite to win the tournament um unfortunately all of the style things I said also seemingly favor him in many ways um the one way I I sort of think it might it might cut in a little bit to his strengths is I he’s so he’s so much more accurate off the tea than everyone else and I don’t think it matters quite as much um and so maybe that helps a little bit bring other people back in but that long iron play he’s also the best at like he is the best at it and like yeah I mean Scotty he’s he’s the best at it by far if Scotty is re even normal Scotty he’s going to be in the top six people in this tournament um I’m just I got to make Cho hard choices I don’t think Scotty wins two majors in a row here um I don’t think he wins five out of six tournaments I think there’s a lot of opportunity for other guys here um I think there’s a lot of opportunity for guys to get hot here um and beat him I think Scotty’s going to do consistency I think somebody can get hot and just beat him um that’s not Scotty gonna do bad it’s someone beats him I totally agree with you the the only nice thing about betting Scotty though is there’s a lot of guys in this field that I really like I don’t know that they’re going to be Factor on Sunday where I know that Scotty will be involved within a handful of Strokes on Sunday yeah we have we have preached on this show if you just if you want to be sure that Sunday you’re gonna have your bet live you’re gonna sit down with your drink and your popcorn and be watching golf going I hope my guy wins yeah that’s Scotty Sheffer he’s go g he’s gonna be right there you do you often make popcorn at three in the afternoon no it was the only thing I could think of that I was off the cuff it was all I could think of you’re right what do people eat when they watch stuff you know no idea chips yeah crisps yeah crisps you have you’re drinking your crisps um but yeah listen um agreed I don’t I guess this is a hot take because it’s I don’t think Scotty’s going to win the golf T neither do I that’s why I’m not bet I think he finishes like third but I think the chance of him finishing first is legit 5050 so um I’m not at all opposed to it so I actually think I I can’t bet the odds and do what I want with the rest of the bets personally but I think if I think plus 400 is actually fair value right now for Scotty shefer the way he’s been playing so three weeks off I’m not too concerned about the rust though but all right he wins it once I don’t think he’s going to struggle Jimmy I agree with that going to play really good just don’t think he’s G to win yeah I I yeah I feel the same way um so Jimmy’s got three units on Scotty Sheffer to kick off our show the guy right belone Rory mooy um yeah Brendan your thoughts how he profiles here his confidence level all that [ __ ] BL blah blah blah go ahead um yeah I actually don’t think uh course-wise it is super to his ADV it’s not nearly as to his Advantage as last week last week Quail Hollow he it is the biggest Rory M Advantage course in the world because the angles he could take off the te changed the golf course nobody else could do it he’s clear he’s aiming at the woods he’s aiming over bunkers that are 330 yards away other people cannot do that he’s cutting the golf course in half um here there’s a lot of holes he just can’t use his full distance on um there’s a lot of holes he can but that that course there were 11 holes he could just go full distance there’s there’s there’s a there was a freeing nature at Quail Hollow where he knows on every single te it’s dri and rip it like there’s a free there it’s it unlocks his comfortability and I honestly I I don’t I want to I want to emphasize again I haven’t seen a driving display like that in a long time it no it was the best thing it was unbelievable um the the confidence with it too the the places he was aiming where you’re looking at it you’re going what in the hell yeah and and the difference in tra sometimes hitting the low sometimes hitting them the highest thing you’ve ever seen to get over certain it was Unreal okay and the best thing about that ferar is that it gets the mid irons out of his hand correct uh the yeah the get rid of those six irons those seven irons those five irons agreed Jim agreed yeah although he played a lot a lot better with them his his dude his around the green his his short his chipping has just been unreal um which has been a real under undersung thing about how he’s played lately unreal and then he putted pretty effing awesome so that putty made on I believe three or four for par from about 25 feet up the hill really kick it really kickstarted the whole thing that was what that was when I was like okay maybe this guy has a chance today like and and he took off from there I have seen Quail Hollow be compared as a pretty fair comp though I just totally disagree I think it’s wrong um I agree with the Tory Pines comp I think it’s much more Tory Pines comp or um um uh PGA National uh are ones I would compare it to what tournaments usually at PJ national uh it was uh it was a couple it was like a month and a half ago um the uh cognizant oh right okay um that’s I think PJ National is a good comp but they’re both Nicholas courses uh kind of similar a lot of long irons um Tory Pine’s a really good comp I think um I think the Quail Hollow comp ignores a lot of the um course details it’s just looking at distance and size of stuff that’s correct where this course detail makes you not worry so much about the driver distance and and missing as much um anyways uh where was I oh uh Rory okay okay all that said yeah I think this doesn’t have as many Rory advantages uh but it’s a major championship there’s nobody who wants to win a major championship more than more Rory mroy I think there’s been a turn in his mental attitude over the last month uh he just won he saw the ball go in the hole he wants this so bad we saw his attitude on like if you watched uh whatever the stupid Netflix show is uh how he felt about his failures in these Majors last year uh especially the Masters in the GA um this is a course he’s won a major championship on I think Rory’s going to continue the hotness he had the confidence he had the aggressiveness he had um I’m taking Rory to win uh Roy’s my favorite to win he’s the only favorite I’m taking this week I have some long shots I really like I obviously I like all of these top five guys this course is so suited top six the course is very Suited to all of them um I think it’s actually the least suited to Rory of everyone in the group I just like what Rory’s doing right now I think the best version of Rory is the best golfer in the world and I think we have the best version right now and I don’t think anybody cares more than him right now uh give me Rory I’m taking Rory to win three units plus 750 I actually believed in my take of this past weekend so much I bet him last Wednesday to win this tournament I got it at Plus uh 1300 wow those are really nice odds for him those are incredible odds it’s very similar parallel to when I had Sheffer plus uh 900 in January to win The Masters so um yeah a lot better odds than we’re getting right now um yeah let me let me draw a wild parallel for you guys about Roy M and please feel free to take it with the grand Sal feel free to tell me I’m an idiot but I’m gonna make the parallel anyways because I think it’s kind of crazy um December 2013 Moy is ired in a nearly twoyear slump of not winning a golf tournament he gets engaged to Caroline Waki famous tennis player okay in may he breaks off the engagement with her over a phone call he then proceed he then he then proceeds to win the British Open win the World Golf Championship two two start winning Street going into Valhalla he wins Valhalla fast forward 10 years he’s mired in a nearly two year he’s nearly he’s mired in the almost two and a half year streak of not winning a golf tournament in America on the PGA tour he won the Scottish open which technically is a part of the PGA Tour but not in America he’s mired in this giant drought he’s not playing well he obviously we found out he’s getting divorced today he clearly has been probably decided to be divorced for more than just today it’s probably been a few months or a few weeks at least when you’re that rich there’s a long process of lawyers and what not before file that document right yeah exactly so he’s planning getting divorced what does he do at at this long drought he wins the Zurich Classic he wins the Wells Fargo a two tournament start winning streak heading back to where Valhalla it the the parallels in the mirrors are kind of crazy I know we don’t care about someone’s personal life I know we’re not TMZ but I just it’s just too weird of a parallel for me not to bring it up I love that I hadn’t thought about it that way I did think about I saw someone on Twitter say this but like people like oh he’s getting a divorce like is that in his head it was in his head this weekend and he stuffed it up xanders you know on Sunday uh like you’ve never seen maybe the maybe this little mix of you know the guy prioritizing certain things in his life there’s been a lot of stuff been thrown at him for the last year and a half yeah and all this stuff’s been happening we didn’t know he’s in a toxic marriage yeah the harder part of this might have been what was going on two months ago when we were seeing stuff that was annoying you know right exactly so yeah who knows what happened who knows you know who’s at fault who cares really it’s just you know yeah but win the golf tournament he’s dealt with a ton of stuff um but he managed to win the last two tour it’s just a divorce it’s no one said anyone did anything yeah exact exactly so but apparently I’m disappointed he’s getting divorced with nobody taking a golf club to anybody’s SUV though yeah you know I like that they asked tiger uh advice about Scotty having the kid uh today oh yeah was like oh yeah be you know something about with your family it’s like burn burn every bridge you’ve ever made that’s what he said don’t go to Denny’s yeah yeah yeah well anyways single Rory appears to be a dangerous golfer last time this happened almost the exact parallel uh the last golfer in general to win their prior two starts to winning a major was Rory in 2014 Scotty has a champ to do that Rory has a chance to do that this week um so yeah maybe Shane took him out in uh New Orleans New Orleans there and they got a little strange and loosened right up you know yeah Shane definitely loosened him up Shane didn’t discover putting at any point in that but he he losing them up yeah I’ll I’ll tell you if I if I pick one dude to party with on the PJ tour it’s Shane Lowry so yep sir that’ be a lot of fun um yeah I agree with Brendan he’s mentally loose he’s physically letting it all go on the golf course um most fun I’ve seen him have in years running you see him running the guy was having so much fun the the excitement when he made those The Eagles I haven’t seen Rory have that much fun look that happy on a golf course literally in years yeah and uh man like we we beat beat the horse to death but when that dude was locked in there isn’t there isn’t better golf to watch on TV that not getting back on the board might be the best thing that ever happened to him too that was the highest rated golf tournament um since uh other than the Masters in the past uh calendar year the Sunday at Quail Hollow even beat some of the majors last year like people people were into it um so yeah regardless um I’m with Brendan I can’t believe he’s stole my pick out from under me again we did this last week I have three units on Rory M to win this golf tournament um I had that exact same bet but then crossed Alpha wi Scotty so we’re all pretty much in can certainly win this tournament I had ludvig aberg as an outright as my outright winner here I had M as a win without sheffler later I I saw the aberg news I I mixed I switched it up I’m going Rory outright winner uh plus 750 three units I said to both of you I’ve said it a lot I said to both of you in September uh that ludvig Oar would win the PGA Championship this year um if you recall uh yeah I am going to greatly regret not betting him uh the knee thing has thrown me off so bad I just don’t know what to think uh and the odds aren’t right for me to bet a guy where there’s a mystery um I I the court suits him the court suits him awesome guys last time last time we did a major preview on the show we did the Masters obviously and we kind of had this fluid free flowing conversation as we went down the list and we didn’t really stick to our normal format with bets do you think we should just when we’re at a guy if we have a bet on him we should just say it because that’s kind of how I’m feeling yes we’re gonna do that in one second we do I want to do the three other big guys and then do that okay because I do have sheffler Wagers so let’s just do the Rory ROM kka discussion and then then just bring up our bets okay are we skipping Xander yeah we’re doing sorry that’s what I meant the Xander we did Ro Xander ROM Kea yeah uh Xander shafley uh we all know the deal here this is the most locked in guy to finish top five but but not win on the PGA tour and has been for two years now um there’s not much else to say he’s technically so sound every single part of his game is Fant fantastic he’s just solid across the board solid driver really good iron player good Scrambler disciplined putter like there’s nothing wrong with this guy’s game there is a mental block between the ears when big pressure moments on weekends where he he doesn’t collapse he just he doesn’t collapse he just doesn’t do he doesn’t go above and beyond like the guy that ends up beating him he doesn’t have that dog in him right Jimmy he doesn’t shoot 66 when he has to he shoots a 69ers 70 you saw it at the Players Championship he kind of wallowed his way through the weekend turned it on the last couple holes couldn’t quite get it done on 18 like so I’m not betting him he doesn’t he I I don’t want to say he doesn’t make me afraid because you have to fear a guy that’s probably going to be a top 10 golfer this week but I just cannot bring myself to bet him to be the outright winner yeah I mean I completely agree with you the guys game is awesome um he just can’t seem to break through and get a win like I said earlier he played two fantastic rounds um this past weekend and then just decided not to show up on the weekend seems to be something he’s been doing yeah Jim but the thing is he did show up because technically against everyone else he did show up he didn’t go out and score you know I mean he was like minus two or three for the weekend I think it’s time this is this is my definition of Xander Xander is the he is a great golfer he is a great professional gol off er he is going to play good he he’s not a killer he’s not too conservative he’s a little too conservative I think he’s not a killer he can’t do burial um so Xander to win needs to just like have the most consistent beautiful thing and like not be against a killer like you know what I mean like that’s kind of how he needs to win this field is filled with Killers this is a field filled with Killers Tander has to in a way he reminds me of Jordan Speed when I look at their numbers because we were talking just the other day about how speed’s numbers are all good but he cannot play golf there sort of be opposite of the same thing exact where Jordan Jordan’s their numbers match but they do the it the opposite way where Jordan is like Peaks and valleys and xanders is like steady steady a flat line a flat line pretty much but they look the same on paper I I think it’s also a fair comparison with one caveat to a few years ago Justin Thomas always there always there boom boom boom always there always there the one difference is Justin Thomas finishes these tournaments on Sunday and that was is a killer that was the difference I almost feel like it’s the same like because it’s hard to find a comp for consistency without winning because most of the guys that are going to be top five top 10 every single week do end up with a couple wins on their tally Xander it’s been two years yeah I mean the guys played 12 events this year if you take out Pebble Beach because it was only three rounds the worst finish he’s had all year is 25th AES and he he has how many he has so many top fives he also has I believe a a third and a fourth and a fifth so five five top fives and keep this in mind I believe he’s made 46 consecutive cuts on the PGA tour yeah he’s just the quintessential consistency and and we talked about the golf course uh the golf course suits him more than anybody right absolutely abolutely yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if he won I just don’t think he has the it between the ears to go win I also did did you guys notice he doesn’t try to beat the golf course ever he just plays to what the golf course is in that showed on the weekend at qu Hollow where he’s lagging putts he’s being conservative he’s being safe I think this guy might need a little injection of oh man did he leave a lot of put short just go out just go out there and and you know what I mean I think just go out there and just play Ultra aggressive get out of stres ahead of third place right I mean go win a tournament yeah yeah play you never see this guy play Ultra aggressive or like try to make heroic shots he just plays he just plays the golf course I think that’s what separates him from some of these other guys in but it’s also why he’s where he is always yeah I mean I got some Xander bets here they’re just not I have top 10 I have a million units on him top 10 we might as well get that out of the way makes a lot of sense well go ahead what’s your actual bet then three unit Xander top 10 plus 140 yeah I have two units on him top five plus 300 I have two bets on Xander shafley one is a win without Scotty sheffler at plus 1,400 you still get really good odds over at FanDuel for some reason awesome yeah I already placed that bet I think there’s a very very reasonable scenario where he finishes in second place to Scotty sheffler um so I’m going Xander win without sheffler plus 1400 one unit I also am doing sha shafley round one leader at 30 to1 I’m doing one unit on him to be the round one leader he led the tournament last week after one round he has the game to just lead the tournament any any round uh except for Sunday of course so I’m gonna go one unit on that too yeah I believe over the last two years he has the best round one scoring average too he does good stuff all right uh John ROM Jim kick us off so obviously I don’t I don’t know if obviously or not I don’t watch live golf um so it’s tough for me to really talk watch have watched John ROM I’m looking at his performances um so far this last year um you take out the Masters and he has finished top 10 in every single event since um uh the Ryder Cup which is Quite a feat um it’s just yeah just every event he’s top 10 literally literally every so that’s great for John ROM I don’t know what his deal is why he hasn’t won yet on live I don’t know if it’s the three rounds versus the four I don’t I don’t know what’s going on think it’s part of it he didn’t do well on his only PGA event this year but that’s the Masters and that is what it is uh I would not be surprised if John ROM won this tournament um I’m not going to bet on him but I I think a lot of what we’re seeing on the Liv and his inability to actually hold the TR trophy at the end is first what you touched on the three hole the three round thing I think is a factor I think the other factor is they don’t necessarily play the hardest courses so Jon is out there shooting 67 over and over again but he keeps running into one guy who’s on fire and in three rounds you can just be on fire and at these easier courses can score 64 over and over again and I think that ROM just hasn’t had his own lights out performance but just your standard John ROM is gonna be fifth place every single time so um yeah I don’t necessarily agree with you that that can’t bet him here but maybe in a second no I didn’t say you can’t bet him I just said I’m not going to of course you can 1600’s insane John ROM line yeah yeah I’m doing one unit on John ROM to win the PGA Championship uh which he I believe did he win the US Open or did he win the PGA Championship US Open he’s won the US Open in the Masters right okay so he hasn’t won here I don’t know I think this course is good for him um he’s good he’s good off the tea he’s a very good iron player he’s an excellent putter when he gets going I think the Masters just played historically so hard that to take anything from his performance there as the defending champion in those conditions lot of pressure carrying the live banner I think it was all a lot I’m throwing that completely out I think he’s still top tier Premiere guy uh I like him I like him to be in this I don’t know if we’re doing the segment or not but John ROM is the only guy in the top six here I don’t have somewhere on my card so he’s my big scary we are doing that seg he’s by definition the big scary he’s big very scary like he is big and he is scary and he is the only person on the entire list whose Peak game might be even better than Rory’s Peak game like like the when John ROM gets truly hot there’s nothing like it some of the stuff he’s done on the greens in the past is really I mean all World Next Level remember the final round of the uh British Open last year yes yes the pouring rain in the pouring rain he shot well he he broke the course record and was like oh was that good did I do good yeah I had no idea at all yeah he’s like oh I still lost my four so whatever remember that remember because remember how how badly it was riging that the players were turning their caps remember that guy in the audience who goes who goes like this and locks in on Rob’s putt that was so funny um yeah John ROM hell of a golfer still I have no concerns about him showing up to play well here um Brendon any any John ROM bets Jim has announced him as his big scary love that picture unfortunately I don’t have any John ROM bets um I’m absolutely terrified of John ROM this week but I have to make hard choices I’m are you doubling down on big scary I’m heavy on uh we’ll talk we’re not on the big scary segment I’m heavy on roor plus he’s not my win without bet you big scary your win without bet who doesn’t play um uh I’m heavy on Rory so I can’t be heavy on another person up in this group in my opinion um and I I do love John ROM but I don’t I’m not picking him to win I terrified of him but I’m you know it is what it is I’m just doing one unit on Old Johnny yeah I mean 1600 great odds for a guy who was world number one who was the PGA player of the year last year uh is is objetive I mean just awesome a big tournament guy yeah I I do think there is a certain argument to be made at this course that yeah some random guy some long shot hopefully we’ pick him out is gonna be right there on Sunday maybe two guys like that are gonna be right there on no I no I I but I do actually think if you look at the course history here in 2014 and in 200000 yeah that if you look at the names you heard of it you’ve heard of every forget 1996 that’s 2000 is so rid it’s the most ridiculous let me finish making my point my point is that the leaderboard is just full of guys who were at their in their Prime playing golf both those leaderboards I will find it hard to think that this page we’re looking at right now isn’t also similar to the leader board we’re looking at on Saturday and Sunday maybe we’ll see there’s never been a year in the history of golf with a top five guys were more better than everyone else than 2000 that is pretty reasonable thing to say you know you know what’s funny Phil Mickelson finished in the top 10 in 2000 and 2014 at this course that’s pretty impressive career longevity yeah yeah and won the PJ and won the PGA Championship in uh 2020 and he won 2022 W yeah yeah 21 right yeah uh yeah I’m not sure I think it was 22 I think it you’re right 22 you’re right yeah because the people all were on the court you’re right you’re right good job um fun note for the audience I had $ five on him to win $1,600 on that tournament all right we we got John ROM I am betting him outright Jim’s showing us a pen I believe don’t worry about it okay fixing my camera oh boy y okay um I have one unit on John Ram to win out right next guy Brooks capcut the defending Champion Brandon this is your guy I’ll let you start this one ah yeah look out folks uh Brooks won his most recent live event Brooks uh on record saying he was embarrassed by his performance in the Masters um last year he also said he was embarrassed by coming in second in the Masters uh and said he learned a lot of lessons from it came out showed that he did won the PGA Championship uh King of the PGA Championship Brook kka uh he’s won three of them going for his fourth uh king of long irons when playing well Brooks Kea this is a long iron course uh this is terrifying terrifying Brook skpa uh you’re getting a the guy with the most major championships who’s still for no there’s no reason to believe not still in his prime uh at plus 1600 to win this tournament uh you have every reason to believe he is should be in the range that Rory’s in numbers wise on the odds uh I’m not GNA bet Brooks wow you not bet no I’m the king of bet Brooks we we obviously we all uh we went heavy Brooks last year’s PGA Championship he made us a flush glorious amount of money um I’m not betting Brooks this week I don’t like Brooks to win um I like Brooks to play really well I like Brooks to be in it I like Brooks to be probably top 10 that’s your problem he doesn’t do that he wins or he doesn’t I know I don’t think he’s gonna win do you tell us why uh yeah because I think I think um somebody else is gonna win I think Brooks is such a a a a measure of consistency and Brooks is going to come out and play really consistent but I don’t think Brooks is going to like break the course and I think somebody is going to break the course this year this year this year okay so I think Brooks is going to play really good I think the person who wins is going to like break the course like go nuts like minus 17 or something yeah like yeah something like that which I think is going to be Rory but I also think there are a bunch of people who can do it all right well we we’ll talk about those people I think Jimmy uh you in on Brooks I know you were talking about him a couple weeks ago yeah so I’m not betting him um straight up or win without or anything like that um when I noticed his name on my sheet here it occurred to me that I’ve been been spreading lies non-stop since we’ve been doing this program um I did a triple chance I have Rory Brooks and ROM so I’ve bet all three of them in one way or another here um I have three units on that at plus 300 I love that wait wait three units on plus 300 three units on plus 300 for Rory Brooks or ROM to win the the tournament that’s like a nice that’s a nice little hedge that’s a nice little H that’s how I’ve chosen to bet all three of them because I’m scared of all of them and I don’t want to bet them individually so so ROM has been detracted as your big scary you’re pulling me last week with my yep I’m in shame and uh we’ll go from here will not be playing this that’s not funny he with Drew 20 minutes before his tea time we’re all we all are are guilty of an occasional prif prevarication on this show unfortunately Jim joins my ranks as violating the big scary terms already word of the week folks prevarication yes I’m gonna go look it up here in a minute it means to lie um oh yeah okay but yes so you are doing a triple chance on Brooks I do not have Brooks anywhere on my sheet I promise I won’t have him later on my sheet I don’t have him on my sheet for the sake of the segment I’m not gonna make him my big scary we’ll we’ll do a different guy for big scary later I just uh BR big scary for me because I’ll be pumped if he wins even if I didn’t bet him yeah I won’t mind it it’ll be witnessing for Pumped though it would be transcendently huge if he won transc it would Elevate him to a totally different tier of History yeah it ties him with Mickelson with his six major it would give him his fourth PGA Championship tying him with Woods uh I mean yeah a lot of history him one of the greatest golfers of all time and it it does so for a guy who among that group would be the most out of nowhere one not to mention most out of nowhere but if you compare everyone else’s career total victories who has five from more Majors everyone has a billion Rooks has like 11 wins and five of them are Majors so it’s pretty incredible so bad now with not playing on the P yeah if you if you stick if you start counting Liv wins though he’s up to 15 so yeah um he is now the Live Career leader in victories after winning in Singapore there’s like 12 real golfers on that tour it’s fine it’s fine they’re all really good they’re really good but there’s 12 guys and then it’s like am mun yeah I get it like a little with Rory too and I I choose not to like Rory so let’s go Brooks we love Brooks yeah Brooks the only guy who doesn’t wear the LI stuff at the he doesn’t care at all about it it’s awesome I got no I got no personal issue with Brooks at all I just think there is something that holds him back this week I don’t know why um but uh yeah I’m not going with him on my sheet at all all right so that does the top group um I think it’s time we move to the uh like just pick stuff that we’re picking uh we can touch on other guys if we want to but let’s do what we’re picking I unfortunately have a problem I have to pee um you knew you were gonna you SE me down two gigantic um oh he got that birdie yeah I guess about the the win without guys you know how I know they’re the best four we call them all by their first name yeah I think that definit I don’t know if that means anything but we know who they are yeah true true all household names for sure yeah um so yeah you do have a win without top four betat on a so do I you doing one unit or two let’s do the one unit on them yeah I’m kind of considering going down to one unit now with the injury but um I’m just going to stick with what I got on my sheet I have a billion placement bets this week I don’t know how we’re handling that we’re just going to Rapid Fire or something yeah we’ll rapid fire at some point in the show is going to be long y he’s back how long it’s got to be done he’s got a he’s got a child bladder but he’s back I just drink so much drink all day and then when I sit here talking I have to keep like you I’ve drank two jugs of of Gatorade def the one hour we’ve been sitting here um yeah I like what you guys said about ludvig and I would totally agree and I’d be betting it to I’m just very afraid of like a withdraw or something yeah for sure um I just think the talent is insane and this guy he’d be my first outright bet if if if we didn’t have what happened last week he’d be my first out right back I mean I picked him look I picked him to win The Masters you guys faded him he finished second I was wrong um he didn’t win The Masters but he was not remotely bothered by the lights of his first major are the gig gig stage and he showed that his game is on par with anybody so if the granola bar didn’t get knocked out of his hand he wins the Masters yeah we also you know like look this is a young guy it’s not like a torn ACL maybe his knees sore it could it could definitely bother him mentally but you know we’ve seen guys win on injured ship before so um yeah this next group here one thing is if he does win I do have the clip from three months ago where I said he’d win the PGA Championship he’s got the receipts we’ve got dambo morawa H these guys have become um you know these guys that were all in the mix at the Masters I think they were betting okay just outrights right now or do you want to read every I mean we go we’re gonna do names for four hours say our picks because we’re going to be here forever if we do that yeah yeah yeah yeah there’s still significant golfers but Z have you given your two outrights two outrights given Rory Rory three units and Ram one unit so far how many has Jim given I’ve given one just uh Scotty okay give me your second uh my second guy is right here in front of us at plus 4,000 Windam Clark uh when this guy plays his best game he is in that top group uh he does everything well he hits the ball far he putts he’s good around the green uh hasn’t been himself lately we have seen his best golf uh about a month ago if that comes back we have 40 to one and I love those odds on him yeah I don’t I don’t hate the odds I do have kind of a strange Windam Clark take um I’m wondering if we are if we saw a blip which you see from golfers occasionally where a guy is awesome for like a two years and then kind of regresses to where he was projected to be or what he really is and maybe pops up occasionally I’m wondering if we were premature uh inserting him into the top 10 golfers conversation if this guy is really gonna be a guy or if we just saw a really hot blip where he played he had full control of himself physically and mentally as we know he struggled with issues mentally we saw that in the full swing show so I don’t 100% know what what to make of Windam Clark and if he’s gonna continue if he’s going to continue to be in this top tier if he’s just going to settle into that 2030 golfer r don’t think that was that he got hot for a second he had four top fives across like three months so it’s not like he just and he did it also last year yeah right I know but there we have seen pockets of dominance from golfers and then kind of just fade off but I I’m I’m just not entirely sure what kind of read I have on Clark um he looked very angry last week yeah it was a bad I mean I I’m a massive disagree with that I think Windham Clark is very good and will continue to be I think we will see him have I said I said I didn’t know I didn’t say anything definitively I said I said I’m W I said I’m par the the old I’m just asking questions yeah I’m walking well you a couple like two months ago I was like this guy’s top five on the PGA to and will continue to be I’m just walking that back a little bit because I I might have got a little out in front of myself yeah I think he’s played below his standard lately but I do think he uh is in that next tier if we’re not putting in that top tier he’s right there with him that below is like three tournaments uh he’s he’s before that he was absolutely I totally agree he won the US Open last year he’s yeah he’s he’s awesome yeah um I think windham’s a great bet here I love the odds for him I like the course fit for him um yeah no I like windham’s I like the bet a lot what’s what’s your second pick Brendon uh my next bet is sunj M plus 8,000 uh sj’s game is coming on sunj uh is back telling you sanj’s back I think the course fit is great for Sanjay I think sanj is super under the radar here at plus 8,000 um I love sj’s game here uh I think he actually showed a lot last week I think he had a lot of very bad luck uh last week and still was the third best player in the tournament in my opinion um where he’s really just finding his game again but Sanjay really good with the medium and long irons Sanjay can get very hot with the putter uh he’s very good at recovering when he makes a mistake we saw that I like sanj m a ton here plus 8,000 uh that’s my second bet um yeah I I love his odds yeah I like that bat I mean like you said he finished uh fourth in the event this past week and got very unlucky a few times struggled a little bit on Sunday um but I think if a couple of things go his way he might not have caught uh Xander and Rory but he was chasing him yeah he was right in the mix he’s a very talented golfer the odds are really nice he’s the kind of guy who just shows up on leaderboards on weekends so yeah no problem with that pick at all thank you uh my third one is also sitting right in front of us uh it’s a guy who played really well last week it’s sep straa yes it’s a guy who played really well last week um I was between those two here yeah he played really well last week he had a bad Sunday uh bounced back a bit on the back nine but um yeah if you remember it’s kind of hard to remember because Brian Harman was running away with that British Open so much but substa actually finished second in that golf tournament um he’s had pockets of super inconsistency in his career um but he’s got two wins in the last couple years and he’s shown ability to actually compete at the majors at the highest stage he’s actually got the game for it too if you really watch him play golf he he’s a talented guy I personally really like him too um I don’t know something just stood out to me I liked what I saw I liked the 90 to1 I think he could be right in there on Sunday and either pull out a miraculous Victory or provide a great hedging opportunity something along those lines I don’t know I have this weird feeling sepo is competing at this golf tournament so one unit on 90 to one nice I like that a lot I was trying to find a stat I saw earlier um there was an incredible sep straa stat I’m probably not GNA be able to find it quick enough uh but I love the sep bet uh here it is sep sep straa sep straa since the start of 2023 won the John Deere tied for 16th at the Masters tied for 16th at the Players tied for 14th at the Tour Championship tied for seventh at the PGA tied for second at the Open Championship uh tied for Fifth and eighth on the runup to this week’s event SE in big events has just been phenomenal for a year uh he’s right there he’s so under the radar and is kind of playing really good right now yeah uh that’s certainly backs up my line of thinking so yeah I like that stat um you forgot to mention he T6 at the Masters too so that was one it was on the list oh okay sorry about that yeah I I have SE top 20 plus 260 is one of my placement bets nice yeah I like that do you want to give your third Brendon uh sure my third is way way way down the list uh it’s going going to be a matter of if I see him right away because it might move boy it’s going to be a matter of whether I see him right 20,000 it’s Jake knap uh Jake knp I bet him two weeks ago made a good run at it didn’t win but came in third uh uh had the lead after uh after Friday uh two weeks ago um this I’ve said already is a get out there hit long irons on approach make long make medium range putts that is Jake gap’s game Jake knap is one of the top five players statistically in the world at 175 to 200 yard iron shots absolute king of it uh I have no idea what these odds are these odds are crazy for Jake knap who’s just been consistently really good in certain kinds of tournaments I think this is that kind of tournament I think Jake knap is right in this tournament I love plus 20,000 for him uh I bet him already at plus 25,000 but give me Jake naap plus 20,000 as my third choice for outright winner he’s going to be in this tournament it’s this course is built for him yeah I Echo that completely Jake knap is also my third bet um like you said his long irons are fantastic as long as do spray the ball off the te too much um I’m hoping your read about the roughs not being as bad as everyone’s saying um will work to his benefit but yeah this plus 200 200 to one for Jake knap is insane the guy knows how to win golf tournaments he’s either going to be top five or he’s going to be 80th so let’s root for the top five best of luck boys thank you that’s what you said last time yeah yeah yeah it is um on a course where everybody shoots minus 20 uh I don’t think he makes the cut personally all right yeah if I’m right about what the course is Jake knap is going to be right in this tournament yeah I he just doesn’t it just doesn’t move the needle for me I’m sorry I I that 200 it’s not my it’s not my job to agree with you so no I totally agree um it’s just uh it’s it the numbers to me all point to Jake G playing really well here he could he could I just I don’t think he has it between the years to finish a tournament I I love a top 10 gamble on him though or something like I could I could get on board with that um I just don’t know if he can finish the golf tournament we saw him we saw him like stumble to the title in Mexico and we saw him not do anything on Sunday in Texas when everyone else was making a move so I don’t know I don’t know if he’s ready you know mentally to finish a golf tournament reason I certainly wouldn’t bet him at plus 4,000 no doubt no doubt no doubt I do think I I could definitely I would be singing a different tune if you had given me him as a top 10 I’d be like yeah I like that long shot I just don’t know if I could see him finishing out a major right now in his career yeah but you better top 10 because like it’s a different thing I think jakeen can win this this golf tournament I really think he can win this golf tournament and th those odds there’s no risk in the BET um it’s it’s such huge odds for a guy I think can win this golf tournament he got ner he got nervous top 10 you don’t you no longer have like the same odd value that you have here because do I think he’s top 10 like more than two out of 12 times I’m not sure do I think he can win yes yeah when you can put a $5 bet down and win a th bucks that’s worth a flyer guy who can win sure sure I mean but you know guy got nervous looking at Sammy valaki Ben Kohl’s and Taylor pendrith how nervous he gonna be looking at Scotty sheffler we’ll see all all we’ll see but if if I have crazy for him yeah he’s been real hot he was fantastic ended up finishing solo third last week uh I believe he’s been top 10 three tournaments in a row I don’t want to I think there was one in between where he missed let see but he was 16th at the Masters in the calendar year I he’s just outrageous yeah he’s he’s model FedEx Cup he’s got to be like top six in the FedEx Cup I believe he is he has no he has no win though and they put a lot of more weight on yeah I know but I mean he’s just been so good he lost playoff earlier yeah he actually he had a stretch in the middle there in in March and April where he wasn’t very good actually but he does have five top five top five top 10 on the season and four top fives boom that’s awesome very I’m right here too I have Cam young top 10 plus 450 uh uh cam young you know fits a lot of the stuff I said uh long iron play he’s fantastic he’s a birdie machine uh wild stat on Sunday uh of this past week he had five birdies and shot 76 which that’s hilarious yeah that that is hilarious um I am uh I’m off the cam young train for now not to say it’s a bad bet at all I just I’m sick of investing in this guy and him letting me down so I’m off the playing golf right now all the Canadians put up a decent showing this past week they did yeah they they all played pretty respectable yeah uh pendrith um is this this guy’s chipping like a maniac right now yes every time they show him he’s chipping in or it’s hitting the pin yeah he’s he’s in he’s in really good form right now he just I wouldn’t even say he stumbled on Sunday because one overpar is not a bad score at qu everyone else is half the field was like plus a thousand yeah yeah exactly um my personal grievance of the week Matt Fitzpatrick plus 11 goes out there to shoot 66 on Sunday I picked him to win outright like so he so you’re telling me you had it in you buddy but the guy hador in the other tournament and he goes out and sets a course record on Sunday yeah he did he shot like cool lose by 30 a 61 on Sunday that all right any more in the top five or top 10 yeah I’ve got a guy around 1100 uh maybe it’s gone up I bet it’s gone got a little worse for me I would go the other way I’d go the other way um not finding will zures keep going oh there he is okay now I actually haven’t plused the top five I actually oh that’s why okay yeah yeah sorry yeah I got confused there um we know will zot Taurus’s record at the majors I know he’s been kind of out of form this year on and off he had really good form for a while earlier at the beginning of the season and then kind of tailed off a bit since then I don’t know I I when when the when it’s a tough course and the conditions Canna be a little challenging he’s very consistent we know about the iron play um and that’s a premium here I think it’s pretty good value for a guy who’s been top five at multiple majors in the last couple years so I’m going to go 12 to one on Willie Z top five nice I like that he’s a I’m just I got worried about him once he withdrew and like said it was back care but I got worried there’s some little more to it but I you love Wily Z if I think Wily Z’s healthy I like it no I definitely agree the comments when he said he was you know monitoring his back are definitely concerning after missing his season but um but yeah I when he does play well in a major it’s typically really well so dude he’s he’s so good in hard tournaments yeah um that’s it for my top three placements I don’t haveone got a few more are are they outside of 10 and five no I have some of those too but I have some tens give me tens and down to 1600s uh this is the guy Brendan with sharp on he’s really coming on right now I’m going Chris gdup plus, 1600 top 10 uh you got a win this week there he is there he is plus 1600 um yeah I the guy’s game is sharp right now he’s putting exceptionally he’s not so bad off the tea which might not be super important this week it sounds like there’s some debate about that but I like the way his game’s rounding into form right now yeah it’s kind of funny Brendan mentions Chris got her up constantly and clearly paid that off with a win last week uh even though brenon forgot to bet him for some reason um but I’ve actually I don’t think I’ve ever seen him actually on my TV play golf oh man dude I I’m like addicted to watching him because the Dude absolutely stripes the ball it’s so nice and I I’m not he isn’t just a second tier guy he’s coming he’s going to be a real golfer on the PG he’s real he’s real okay we’re holding you to that I got like there’s there’s one kind of golfer I have a really good eye for which is the like long iron guy that is going to like break out which like I’ve had a bunch of those where I’ve been right he’s one of those he’s he’s only 24 years old too so yeah he’s really good he’s coming okay I love that bet Jim great bet we should we should have listened to you at at Myrtle the other guy I have in this range also in the 1600 we compared this course to Tory Pines nobody played Tory Pines better than uh Matthew Pavo where he got his win wait yeah he’s right there 00 um his game is not what it was at the start of the year um but if Tory Pines is the comp for this course I really like his chances yeah I think that’s a cool betat yeah he played really well in that DP event um but he struggled on pga2 a little bit lately but uh he’s still he’s still way up there in points and stats based on what he did early in the year so and I like that you brought up the comp so all any more within the 10 and five I my very last one is Bobby Mack T10 at 22 200 all right I love that a hot hand Bobby Mack plus 2200 T10 uh I absolutely love that bet I have I’ll just jump to it because you said that I have Bobby Mack top 20 at plus 800 uh Bobby Mack played really well last week he’s actually playing pretty well overall uh and he is fantastic at the around 200 yard Iron Range so you have him T20 I also have him T30 for two units I saw him you’re doubling up on Bobby Mack I I saw him I saw an article that hasn’t picked as the you know that guys picks their long shot winner so yeah I think it’s a great pick some good vibes around Bobby Mack going on yeah T30 for Bobby Mack is still plus 400 which I think is wild he’s playing with John Daly Thursday which is a hilarious group it is it is the giant big giant fat guys who look like they don’t care about golf yeah um all right let’s go to top 20s you got any top 20s Jim I do not have top 20s all right I got a few uh so let me Zoom through my top 20s uh so I gave you Bobby Mack top 20 uh I gave you sep straa top 20 that’s plus 260 uh okay uh then I’ve got uh Tony feno top 20 plus 260 um Tony feno fits this course insanely well uh he is sort of in a way a big scary here uh I think Tony really the best version of Tony is super built for this course uh Tony’s fantastic long iron player um and pretty good long putter not good short putter I think Tony’s gonna play well I like Tony top 20 plus 260 uh and then uh let me go to some longer one uh my who else oh I said sep uh oh I got two longer ones uh at plus 750 you’re gonna see this one coming Nick Dunlap plus 750 top 20 uh Nick Dunlap seems to play well when the course is uh sort of straightforward and generic uh I think this course is sort of straightforward and generic I think Nick dunlap’s gonna play pretty good uh give me Dunlap plus 750 be top 20 be nowhere near winning the tournament at all but be in the top 20 coming like 15th um plus 750 for Nick Dunlap uh and my last top 20 is at plus 600 I think Sebastian Soderberg uh coming in uh playing a major championship Sebastian Soderberg very exciting uh he’s com in the top five in three tournaments in a row on the DP World Tour uh he’s coming second second and third I believe uh in these last three tournaments I think this guy’s playing really good golf just playing real good golf clearly can’t win doesn’t know how to win scared of winning but he’s playing really good golf and you can just play good enough to exist in the top of the field I think he can uh I like Soderberg here plus 600 sneak his way into the top 20 uh and then I have one top 30 before before you go to that I’m GNA just uh piggyback your Soderberg there I completely agree that he’s going to find his way towards the top I don’t know that he can win this tournament outright but I have him as a win without the top four guys oh what are the odds on that I got it at uh plus 15,000 okay great I love that all right oh that would be fun huh Jimmy that would be fun all right then I got a top 30 you got any top 30s Jim uh I just have a top 40 left okay let me do my one top 30 uh this’s a two-unit play in the top 30 uh he’s somewhere around plus 300 hopefully he’s still there uh oh boy where’d he go might have gone the other way uh 2 Aaron Ry uh Aaron Ry top 30 uh I love this golf course for Aaron Ry I like how he’s playing um you know he’s sort of up and down but he shows up and then he shows up for a little bit uh then he goes away right that’s we’ve experienced the Aaron ride train uh looked real good uh two weeks ago um I think you know mid to Long irons and 20 foot putts that’s Aaron Ry uh give me Aaron Ry here um you know he’s not going to Bomb It Off the T but I think he can make this course work for him uh I like him top 30 plus 280 that’s my last placement those are all my placement bets thank you for sticking with me Jim you got a top 40 yeah go to uh top 40 and go down to the plus 400s going with a guy who’s coming off a win um which is surprising me they’re getting plus 400 for a t40 we’re going with otegi I love that yeah put a little5 bet I take you to win the whole thing I know it’s ridiculous it’s probably not going to happen but I just love the way the guy I love the way the guy plays golf so yeah you know it’s a great bet I love both bets uh really good golfer really consistent uh top 40 is a great bet for him because he’s sort of like a just a consistent guy um so I think top 40 is smart he should four to one on it which is a lot yeah these guys that these guys that are great on the DP tour don’t stink they’re good they are and yeah you see you see them pop up on the board too if you look at the British Open last year I know it’s more of a style that they’re used to but I mean the board was just top 20 was littered on Friday with these guys like guys that out front n here’s little lynxy front Nine’s a little lynxy precisely I’ve seen a little lyns comparison to this too so like I said earlier so um you know it’s one thing that’s really annoyed me about DraftKings and FanDuel this week I can’t find to make or miss the cut anywhere uh they’re of the PGA Championship last year if you recall uh was the leader of the PGA Championship entering the back nine last year came in third he h didn’t into a bunker face yeah and uh Corey Connors if you say long irons actually literally the best player um at long irons on the tour I love Cory Connors on this golf course I like Cory Connors in this kind of tournament he played good last week I like Cory Connors here I got plus 5500 win without that top four uh give me it do you know what Cory Conor I’m gonna be absolutely heartbroken when he wins do you know what Cory Connor’s scrambling percentages so you better hope he hits the green horrific 40% yeah horrific it’s one of the worst rates on tour yeah yeah we talk about this a lot though but yeah uh he is literally like you said the number one uh over the last three years the number one ball Striker for Mid iron so yeah probably a solid bet and he’s got the game to show up at a big tournament too I can’t believe no one uh on H Greg Norman’s greatest ball Striker he’s ever seen Taylor G yeah of course great thing is no one’s getting an asterisk this week y yep no no asterisk On’s in the field yeah exactly going to scroll down to the Plus 7500s for me uh I’m going with a guy ox who there’s tough to find a guy who’s better at approach and putting U i’ like to mix one of those guys in um that way it’s not just everyone who can’t make a pot on my card but I think about he win this as a junior yes 2018 chipped in for Eagle on the 18th hole to win the junior PGA became the first two-time winner of the junior PGA Championship with that chip so very cool some good course history here we do we like ox a lot seems to like playing good at places he played good as a little kid correct very Matt Fitzpatrick Vibes going on there his win uh in Texas was of course he won on as a kid and where he met his wife exactly yes so uh yeah he uh I I nailed him on a win without there so I hope Jim can do the same here uh all right my other win without is a guy I’ve already mentioned uh but I like him is win without as well uh which is Aaron Ry uh plus 15,000 Aaron Ry win without the top four um I already have him I what did I say I have him top 30 uh at for two units but I also have him as a win without I really like Aaron Ry on this golf course Aaron Ry win without all right um I’m all out of win withouts yep I gave out my round one leader is Xander 30 to one we don’t need to touch on that again I just have two nationality props and then I’m uh I got two more win withouts if you want to knock them oh yes absolutely Jim go ahead um I’m going with a guy who uh is at plus 7,000 um Denny McCarthy um he’s quietly having an okay year he’s got a couple of top 10 and I just feel like I haven’t heard his name very often so I think he’s gonna sneak up on us Danny kind of snuck into the tournament last weekend he did he did he he showed up late on on the weekend got himself into Denny does it another way Denny is either gonna be a maniac putting or not exactly yeah and uh yeah Denny’s just Denny’s very consistent very very consistent golfer finish this one off um we’ll go down to the plus 22,000 um we’re talking about the course being a little lynxy so I went with Brian Harmon wait he’s that far down he was at 22 when I saw it there’s no way what you’re going the wrong way I just don’t I just don’t think there’s any way he’s that direction there he is well that changed a ton okay anyway yeah I still like it all right plus 10,000 Brian har I mean that’s still incredible is that a win without win without the top four yeah yeah yeah wow I love that those odds are out of control honestly that’s nuts they were double that when I first saw it for a guy who’s proven that he can be consistent in a big event with the spotlight on him uh and done it multiple times too for sure um that’s crazy odds honestly yeah he’s had a bad month but he had a great month before that the only the only thing that I don’t like about it is Phil Mickelson said um despite finishing second here in 2014 said that this one of his least favorite courses for a left-hander to play going a and Brian Armon all right Phil Phil could say that he came in second so you know yeah yeah yeah exactly all right so we’re done with win without outs and we’re going to nationalities let’s do nationalities uh I have uh I have quite a few of these yeah I’ll just start it off the odds dropped overnight that’s too bad um yeah this my way of betting Scotty sheffler um it’s like kind of the same odds as it’s almost the same odds as him to win the tournament outright um you get rid of Rory and John ROM here you get rid of aberg here just Scotty to be top American plus 260 I’m doing three full units on it uh yeah I mean I don’t want to bet him to win that tournament outright but I feel like this is a kind of creative way where you can double up your winnings if you hit if Rory’s first and Scotty’s second or something yeah I super prefer this way betting him honestly yeah so I’m doing three units on Scotty top American yeah that’s great I love I love that bet I I honestly prefer this way a betting him you’re only giving up uh 1.4 of your of your units to it um get big guys get rid of a lot of the guys who who are the guys you like so that helps a lot like if you liked these guys that’d be different but none of these top of the board guys are the guys you’re betting so that’s that’s nice yeah I’m I’m I like it I like it too uh I didn’t do a top American Jim did you right you already have this I definitely I like the BET Conor’s the most that McKenzie Hughes though he either’s like eighth place or or misses the cut he’s a infuriating guy yeah he’s all he’s all over the course what Jimmy name all year Adams venson he must not have been doing anything all year you go he’s been he’s he’s been okay you know like he was I’m pretty sure he played really well quel Hollow the first round and then kind of disappear his best finish all year was T30 he hasn’t done nothing no he’s T10 at the Genesis excuse me he had a real hot start or had a real hot run at some point last season I believe yeah but I think like him and ludvig are the two people that can be in the top 10 in this group pretty much uh so uh give me John Ron plus 275 to be the top Continental European Zach do you want any 200 to 225 I was looking at that uh I like Alejandro toy to win this group I think he’s better than the other three guys and plus 500 sick yeah uh what is up love that what is up with the um like the the I I’m trying to say it without being like being really inappropriate why do they keep just jacking off I I failed to make it nonpr why they keep jacking off walking nean every time you should used fate yeah exactly yeah what’s what’s the deal what’s the deal with this nean thing because that that one month he won three live tournaments yeah I guess I mean he’s always it’s always kind of melted in the majors every time I’ve seen him but he drives the ball 300,000 yards and then sucks at everything else yeah so not I love that bet toasty’s been really consistent lately including that t second at Texas I believe yeah was atrocious last week yeah dude I this feeli he’s absolutely the best of those three I love R’s been atrocious since pretending to be back for a little while last year and the beginning of this seas and vus no offense great story fun to see him back in a major for the first time since 2015 after all his issues but he ain’t that much of a golfer yeah this this one stuck out to me uh will you take me to Sweden Sweden the Nords the swedes so I’m going Soderberg here I worried about abg’s knee if that becomes an issue I think sod BG has the a great chance of beating this field at 7 to one I like that yeah I do too I like that a lot um I have I have more so yeah keep going keep going okay uh you’re driving the bus here uh African where is African African uh Eric Van royan plus 320 is my African bet uh Eric Van royan has just played really good all year uh really good all year very consistently good player um and can have just fire rounds here and there uh was was in second entering Sunday this past week I think he came in fourth um and I I mean also great iron player really good putter uh I like Eric Van royan to win this group uh Baden hoot’s the only one that scares me he’s also been on fire uh I I don’t know what’s going on with these Dean burmaster lines uh I actually was about to make an I think he is a pH phenomenal golfer that no one’s really heard of he won a live event Liv’s addicted to him he he he won the the Trump um D he won he won multiple DP events last year he’s a good good golfer give me erican Roy and plus 320 top African EVR top African let’s go yeah um good uh I think that’s all my nationalities yeah that’s all my nationalities that’s all your nationalities bring me to top rest of world I really enjoy betting the rest of world lately I don’t understand this category yeah it’s it’s everyone who’s not American or european yeah oh okay that’s pretty simple yeah um it’s like non- Rider cup basically got exactly exactly it’s the guys who would qualify for the the world at the President’s Cup yeah I see but yeah I’m going right back to the Well from last week I hit Ben on I’m going right back for for him I I think he’s the most consistent of all these players right now on this list and he just keeps flashing up at the top of the leaderboard so I love the odds getting there so I’ll go 10 to one one unit on Ben on top rest of world y he’s gonna be a T10 so I love that yep good stuff uh all right uh Jim had a live special yep um go to round one score score okay I have a top live golfer but we will do that round one score uh I biding cam Smith round one top live at plus 900 okay he can play golf he’s a good golfer he’s a golfer professionally yep he’s he’s consistently good um so I’m the majors I’m doing the same thing I’m just doing top live golfer I’m doing cam Smith plus 900 uh it’s the same odds uh but it’s the whole tournament I think he’s going to play really good in the tournament uh I think he will be the top live golfer of the tournament um I just don’t I I would rather do this than the first round but you know you do you I like cam Smith to win this group plus 900 see I I I thought about doing it this way but I have Brooks and ROM um I think gonna finish very well makes a lot of sense yeah I I love cam Smith here um I think he can win the tournament but I’m going with him uh plus 900 top live thanks yeah I really like TL Hatton but uh I love the cam Smith bet too I do too those are the two I like the most I do think there’s a version of TL Hatton that uh is right there on Sunday I mean we could say that about 50 guys on this list but um I don’t know we love Tel and when he does get locked in the birdies come fast andam fast fast and furious yeah um obviously one of the most entertaining golfers to watch always fun when he’s in the mix so um all right that is it for the dialers that’s all a round one regular round one that’s not it for the dial it UPS not cut not going to make the cut Dustin Johnson missed the cut plus 125 last time we bet on people to miss the cut they were like winning the Masters so we’ll we’ll see how it goes he was horrific at the Masters I don’t think he gives a [ __ ] about golf uh he has been horrific for a while now yeah and people are not really catching onto I mean the odds are starting to catch onto he’s like 8,000 he’s like 80 to one to win this tournament I think plus 125 to miss the cut he’s missing the cut yeah don’t don’t hate the BET um you know I’ve never seen this category before but DraftKings has player to be in the final group round four yeah um Scotty’s at plus 250 I mean I’m not going to bet it but it’s an interesting way to bet that it is definitely definitely um but if there’s three guys tied for first one of them is not going to be in the final group and that would be quite a way to lose a bet that would be yeah yeah also if in the final pairing he’s probably going to win so I’ll just bet the 400 yeah yeah I I agree with that or if you’re fully bleeding if you’re bleeding all your bets and bleeding all your money and he’s down a stroke going into Sunday there’s a hedge opportunity honestly final pairing is a great place to bet like Xander like you bet the guy who can’t win but is probably gonna do really good he’s 1100 yeah yeah it’s not a terrible thought Randon actually um there go to the go to the just the regular outright winner go all the way to bottom and I just want to Spotlight a guy quickly because it’s it’s fun and we should at least give a tiny bit of shine uh to a PGA club pro it’s not Michael block oh God thank God yeah uh keep going keep going way down yes go up a bit oh so you see Wyatt Worthington II I don’t see him there he is there he is Wyatt woron the second I just want to talk about this guy um he has qualified for this like five of the last six years he’s outright won the PGA um Club Championship like to qualify with the top 20 guys get into this tournament I just think it’s it’s really cool it’s quite a good accomplishment just to be a regular Club Pro he I’ve re researched a bit on him he doesn’t really play tournament golf he’s just really good at golf and he just goes shows up and finishes in the top 10 every time at this tournament to qualify for the PGA so uh yeah wanted to shine a little Wyatt Worthington and I really wanted to bet him to make the cut but I can’t find the BET anywhere I would have loved to put you know five bucks on him probably make the cut would be like plus a thousand so I don’t like him at all now what because I don’t like him at all now why like if you can go go play golf what are you doing well I think he tried to be professional golfer and didn’t quite work out but uh okay well that’s not how it was described so it becomes very expensive sounded like he just go on goost and tries out for this one tournament makes it every year and then just goes back to his Club no it’s well [ __ ] well [ __ ] me then um I didn’t say that you didn’t have to get all upset throw your big scary at me I need to look at the I need to look at the overall winners it was gonna be Brooks Kea but I mean it’s kind of boring so I want to pick something else think tiger finishes what Jim do you guys think tiger finishes the tournament I don’t think he makes the cut I do think he makes the cut I actually think he does kind of good I think he does very very very bad like plus 12 misses the cut nice very long walking course though very long walking course yeah was a 7600 feet yard and and like it’s very um built for members with carts type course you know how you’ve been to those ones where there’s like sometimes wildly long walks between holes this has a lot of that and it has like high hills and stuff as long as it’s Wolf Creek as long as it’s not Wolf Creek I I’m not concerned about him getting around the course really this is a mess I just I don’t know it’s kind of the PGA Championship in US Open feel like different animals to me than a guy who can just walk onto where he’s super familiar with an Augusta and play really good and make the cut I I don’t know I I’m not sure it’s a great place to just show up with with rust and casually make the cut because you used to be really awesome at golf so I don’t know uh I think tiger comes in 28th all right all right I think Phil misses the cut as well that’s I agree with that I don’t think I don’t think he’s despite winning a couple years ago I don’t know I just he hasn’t finished in the top 20 in the live in like two years so uh the most recent tournament he did okay well other than that one I think he came in I think he came in like sixth yeah he had one you’re right he did have one good showing recently um I don’t think it was Singapore though I think it was the one before that it was the one I think it was maybe it was the Adelaide one one I’m not sure okay anyways he I the point being he did recently play really good guys there’s there are a couple guys we haven’t talked about like uh that I think are kind of important like we’ve said nothing about morawa H Thomas Klay like did any of these guys scare you more than normal or is yeah we’re doing big scary right now you that’s why I just brought it up yeah that’s why I brought it up am I my big scary is going to be um it’s gonna be Justin Thomas just because of his history the PGA Championship in general um there isn’t a course history to call upon but the tournament history he’s unbelievable um the odds are really nice too actually for a guy who’s proven he can win the PGA Championship and shows up in big moments so Justin Thomas is my big scary he’s in decent form he’s not in incredible form he actually played pretty good at Quail Hollow um so I I thought he played very good uh and his his ball striking has been great lately uh you’re ignoring the part he’s from l yeah yeah I I should have brought that up so he’s from here uh he said he said he’s played this course over 100 times um so he’s played this course a lot uh he probably has by a mile the most course course experience here um yeah so so there’s that uh and he will probably have the home home crowd type thing if he plays oh 100% I mean he’s literally this is like a home this is the home field advantage for him so I think that’s a great big scary pick yeah you got a big scary yeah you know uh my big scary not necessarily because I think he can win this tournament more than anybody else but is Jordan spe um going for his career Grand Slam and just how much I have uh dismissed him as a golfer over the past couple months um you know he could get his game back together and and win this tournament he could have a little more motivation with the career Grand Slam on the line I think the only thing he’s scaring this week is the cut line yeah I mean you’re probably right but I think he’s my personal big scary because that’s what it’s all about baby no no problem no problem I’m just saying uh all right I’m like going full circle this is like Insider uh all the way around mine is Hideki matama uh plus 6500 uh Hideki matama is exactly the player I described uh this course is suited toward uh the long iron striper who can get crazy hot with it um but but we have no idea what’s wrong with him right now something is wrong uh but I’m terrified of him because if I knew he was healthy and totally fine and going to play I actually would have placed a bet on him I really like the course for him I think everything suits him really well uh but I also read uh today that he was out for his practice round and didn’t play he walked walked the whole 18 holes with Rio hun yeah he he had back severe back spasms like prop up like an hour before his tea time at the Wells Fargo um perhaps he’s still experiencing that he’s had back problems in his career before it’s definitely concern um peki is of big scary Fame last week I made him the big scary then I put a bet on him which is illegal and then uh he didn’t play so that got kind of wiped away actually kind of worked out perfectly yeah it did it worked great yeah so we said it didn’t count and it literally didn’t count yeah it worked out well I some I somehow got bailed out of that one yeah thank you Hideki so he’s my big scary those are our big scaries uh you mentioned a few I think Colin is a definitely a big scary here um Colin that his game suits this course really well playing really good you know yeah remember how easily he won that first PGA Championship yeah man yeah he’s uh I have him T10 so I definitely think he’s a big scary does anyone know what’s wrong with Patrick Klay this year don’t say that make him be a big scary he’s just not quite he’s not quite there when he usually is so oh he’s been he’s been uh spraying that driver yeah he has Max hom also scares the [ __ ] out of me but I’m not going to he needs to kind of yeah he was in big intention at the Masters but before that in the open last year he had a horrific um major record so let’s see I’m not going to get too scared of him until I see him really put the fear into us he did kind of play good this week too yeah he did for for bits and fits and bits yeah agreed yeah I mean he was he came in the top 10 I think he was eighth he he Thursday was plus three through through two holes so the recovery from that is pretty good too I got so scared of my own big scary I just went and put money on Justin to yeah I I Justin Thomas is is definitely a big scary um I totally agree with you on it all the factors just you know it is what it is you can get him you can get him 30 to one win without the top four you can also get him 50 to1 outright and without Scotty I’m just looking here I’m gonna be honest with you if I get JT in the top five I think JT wins the tournament yeah he’s that kind of guy he finishes golf tournaments so yeah and yeah he has talked about how excited he is for this tournament he is not the defending Champion but was two years ago um and he seems to get up for the big the big events and this one is going to be probably the most meaningful to him of his career I think and he’s definitely getting back to himself he’s playing better and better he is I agree um so yeah we got we got other stuff to add about the PGA Championship no let’s wrap it up yeah it’s our longest show ever uh I’m I I think I blacked out the last hour I don’t really remember anything Happ yeah tired Bruins Panthers game on got to get to that yeah um but yeah we start early Thursday morning it’s
