hello from Darlington Raceway in South Carolina one of the most iconic venues in all of racing and today hosting NASCAR’s xinity series for the 68th time Darlington Raceway this is the moment you’ve been waiting for please welcome the Commanding General of the United States Army training center and Fort Jackson Major General Jason Kelly drivers start your [Applause] engines the engines have fired it’s go after practice and qualifying was rained out yesterday front row Chandler Smith Cole kuster kuster the control car takes the outside Lane we are green at the track too tough to T this really they talk about turn one everyone tiptoeing through it a little bit if you are aggressive this is a moment you can take a big advantage and try to get some spots but none of these guys know what their cars even drive like yet big push down the backstretch wo AJ aliger got right in the back Co cut it’s going to push him to the lead here through three and four AJ’s going to try to follow him through this Top Lane you know definitely has a bit of an advantage especially in these Infinity Cars Hill Aly out there oh little door action here Joey they really want this to take the lead here get that clean air two very aggressive drivers almost clear he’s going to clear him look at that what a restart for the seven of Justin alar muscles up and pulls to the lead got a great launch carried a lot of speed through one and two his car is turning really well just to the very very bottom Austin Hill goes just the opposite that’s what you do when you’re second place you do the opposite try to hopefully get some air and get a run and he’s able to get a pretty decent run to to close it up to Justin alar in a turn one yeah Justin started seventh and we saw him passing cars and steadily working his way up to the front now he’s got the lead I’m I’m curious to see what he’s got here guys center of the corner and just keep that thing from spinning out and the last thing you want is someone like that just tucked right up into your left rear corner just taking all that air off you’re already loose not comfortable look at the top five they’re all Chevrolets but a lot of different teams up there all guy leads from Junior Motorsports Austin Hill from RCR mayor from JRM almond Dinger from colag cerman Big Machine they’re spreading it around here is Justin Aly back to the green and white Checkered Flag final time around stage one it’s going to be his fifth stage win of 2024 that’s the most of all drivers ooh a slide job by Riley herbs to clear Sheldon Creed for ninth in the the stage he’s going to make it count he is Herpst gets ninth and the final stage Point goes to Sheldon [Music] Creed green as we begin stage two and Austin Hill jumping out there in the 21 yeah we’ seen in the past here you know BR back to your point the the bottom Lane gets good launch but if you don’t clear him into turn one you see what just happened there Justin algar is able to roll the top get that momentum and take the lead again just like the last restart yeah the other group from the other lane y shows the fire off speed that seven has the execution of going through the gears he’s done a good job so far this battle right here coming to the final lap this is going to be a good battle AJ almond Dinger Eric am marola right in front of him Sam Mayer who’s falling off here quite a bit we talked about Parker cerman just passing him Parker’s put two seconds on him in just a few laps the tires on Sam mayor’s car is gone Justin algar took over the race lead Midway through stage one and he really has never given it up strong on the restarts and good on the long run as well seven car going to get the stage sweep here today he’s LED 62 laps so far 62 of 90 that’s impressive for allar it’s the 12th time that he swept stage one stage two in his career however he only won two of the previous 11 something to watch get pit stops here in a moment we look at our stage points for the day allar obviously gets 20 with the sweep great day for Austin Hill I want you to look though at Parker ciger 14 stage points today he had scored two in his career all time at Darlington coming into this race I’d say he’s having a good time he told us earlier in the race like he said that this was not his favorite track I think that opinion is changing pretty dramatically here lead oh out Haley Degan just as we said we’ve not had a caution for incident we get one fourth yellow of the day and that’s Degan in the 15 the D Earnhardt throwback that’s a major left rear tire explosion you got to assume that uh that didn’t just blow out on careful of it it’s blown the whole quarter panel off that car wonder what happened here boy see like before even she got into the corner there it uh blew out on her nice job keeping it off the wall for Haley you got to think that I mean either she ran over something had contact out a boy for Ryan seek Jeb Burton both in the top 12 green again with 39 to go Justin able to hook him up pretty well there but still Austin Hill is going to get a good run in the one that really low entry isn’t really working out for him come back to Darlington caution comes out it’s our fifth yellow of the day like the 28 car Kyle SE is he blowing engine oh no we got a lot of things going on here oh there might be some oil on the RAC trck possibly see one may be blowing up and they one behind it spinning out I don’t know if that’s a coincidence maybe that’s why Parker dropped his window that probably blew up I would say that’s right throwing it back to Harry Gant I would say that might be my favorite paint Scheme 31 this weekend and KY SE hanging on to it in the 28 I’ll tell you who did not want this yellow was Parker clicker he was driving through the field guy with a pretty good launch up top but doesn’t have no help pushing him the one able to get a good run into the corner but man we just seen Justin alar do that all day just rolls turn one so good flag going to be out this time around for Justin Aly one to go sponsored by Credit One Bank well if he’s able to bring this thing around here he’s a much deserved win obviously a fast car a lot of wins taken away from him this year from something happening this time is looking pretty good they’ve been incredible all day long get out the broom for Justin algy sweeps the stages going to leave 119 laps and get his first win of 2024 Justin algar wins at Darlington every one of y’all down there deserves every bit of this boys yall have worked your butts off and I’m sorry that it’s taken all the way to Darling get it done for you but what a day Eddie thank you P up and give him the hat trick here three times he’s pulled into Victory Lane at this Place Austin hit fourth in points sure be happy about that another top 10 that’s 267 in his career no one in the history of the Xfinity Series has that many best Kyle bus in that category that’s a cool stat to have ninth driver to win this season and the second win of the year for Junior Motorsports Sam mayor of course delivered in dramatic fashion last month when we were at Texas Motor Speedway third time in his career he swept the stages and won the race and look at this coming out the roof raise the roofer final thoughts today on what we saw here at Darlington well not much cooler than pulling in the Victory Lane with your
