To put yourself in the mindset where you’ve gotta beat your opponent so badly you gotta make the man say I quit. >> Could you imagine what it would be like if this made contact? >> Batista might not have been able to say I quit. >> Now the first I Quit match happened in 1985. Cena has been in three I Quit matches, perhaps that experience will lend itself to the Championship advantage. >> Has he ever said I quit in any of those matches? >> No, sir, he has not. >> John Cena has never said I quit in his career, he’s never tapped out in his career. >> But then again, The Animal Dave Batista has never said I quit either. >> [APPLAUSE] >> That’s what makes, this is one of the biggest matchups that I can remember in the WWE. >> And especially the rage that Batista’s still, remember- >> He went down, looked like he was going for a cover, but. >> Cena, you wanna quit? >> [APPLAUSE] >> Remember, no covers in this matchup. But this match and its outcome, all it does is cut into the loser’s manhood, that’s what it’s all about. >> Well I think you’re really gonna get a pure, clear cut decision, no flukes, no one can argue, one of these men will say I quit. >> And let’s not forget it’s about the WWE Title as well. >> Well that’s what drives John Cena, is being WWE Champion. >> And as you can hear, there’s no one that evokes the emotion out of the WWE Universe like John Cena does, for good or bad. >> Unless it’s Batista. >> And that’s one of the things that began this whole rivalry, guys, if you think back, Batista upset over the fact that John Cena became the face of WWE, that Batista was passed by. And there’s a big, high elbow. That Cena became the poster child, and he of course had the movie roles and the hit albums. >> Do you remember that both of these guys won Championships on the very same night, very first Championship [INAUDIBLE]? Their careers have- >> Take a look at the impact of this back elbow. >> And if you look back to the Royal Rumble, King, 2005, these were the two men left standing in the Royal Rumble match before Batista won in overtime. >> Cena, you wanna quit? Batista is gonna need to mentally destroy the WWE Champion. >> Well to that point too, I mean Cena’s gonna have to mentally destroy Batista. Batista’s been able, and what he’s capable of over the years. >> Well we saw these two guys in an, I mean, absolute war in that Last Man Standing match, neither one could really best the other. That’s why it boiled down to the duct tape, neither one of these guys could do that much damage, so much damage that the other one couldn’t answer a ten count. >> Suplex by The Animal, the near 300-pounder. >> Of course, King is alluding to John Cena duct taping Batista’s feet together so that Batista could not answer a ten count, thus a fluke, in this analyst’s opinion. >> Well and it was also what Batista called a fluke that he lost to Cena at WrestleMania. >> Uh-huh. >> No room for flukes here, boys. >> Cena a nine-time World Champion, Batista’s won a title six times. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Nobody home, Cena looks to build momentum for the first time in this matchup.
