Paul goldi is having the worst month of his entire life I’m talking about t-ball literally College if he did play college and MLB Look At That Swing is it time for a fresh start we’re going to talk about it we have another Paul Paul skines he made his debut in one of the wackiest games I’ve ever seen Randy Ros Arena he’s been really heating up lately and the Yankees fan base got the brunt of it and Joe Adell I mean this kid might actually be doing it the breakout might actually be real we’re going to talk about all of that and more in today’s MLB recap but before we do that I just want to say happy Mother’s Day I know my mom is watching so love you Mom Mom we’re almost at 500,000 subscribers I can’t believe it so without further Ado let’s talk about the most hyped debut pitcher debut that is since Steven shraberg in 2010 when he struck out 14 Pirates and fast forward to yesterday a Pirates pitcher is on the opposite side of things he’s the guy Paul struck out Mike talkman on a bunch of 100 m perh fast balls then he threw three consecutive breaking pitches to se Suzuki to buckle him so that’s two strikeouts and a clean first inning Jan Gomes see you Paul had three strikeouts through his first two innings and then he got the lead in the third Connor Joe he pulled a three- run home run and then O’Neal Cruz had a one-handed like swing I don’t know what that was but somehow he had at 430 ft the dude’s power is legendary SK he was up by four when n Horner crushed a hanging slider you hang it they’re going to bang it in the big leagues but Michael a Taylor he got that run right back and then some so it’s six to1 for Paul schi so I’m thinking okay I know that Paul’s on a pitch count but he’s up by five maybe they’ll let him go for the W because you have to throw five innings to qualify for a w a talkman double and a SE single push sches out the game but hey he had seven strikeouts over four Innings and say what you want that’s a really good debut in my opinion and it’s not his fault that his relievers threw 16 consecutive balls Ian hapy got hit on the first pitch then Nico Herer Michael Bush and Miles Master bony all walked on four consecutive pitches Nicholas he was throwing things in The Dugout I don’t know if it was more accurate than his pitches on the mound but he’s throwing things all jokes aside I did feel bad for the kid it almost looked like Yips Josh Fleming he threw three consecutive balls to make it 16 balls in a row it ended up being a 3-2 count and another walk tman he tied the game up on an infield single and then the rain delay hit a couple hours later the rain’s done with but the Pirates they were not done walking guys Holderman He Walked seya on four straight and Bellinger took a walk as well that’s six bases outa walks and a hit by pitch in one inning so the Pirates they’re down 8 to six never mind they’re winning again Gman grandall almost left the state he knew it was gone as soon as it hit the bat what a game I mean cutch he sent one out as well that was a big time 10th run because tman lifted a sack fly to make it 109 but the Pirates they hang on what a way to start today’s recap so we do have a walk-off today but it’s going to have to wait because we have yet another roller coaster game from the shadow realm and I say that because they’re super fun to script and do all of this planning but in terms of editing these games they’re awful Minnesota used nothing but singles in the first few Innings of this one kareah kof and lnac they made it 4 nothing twin on three separate singles they also had some help from David Schneider on an error in left field B hit a single wait no he drove in a single run on a second home run of the year only to have the magical sausage make its return Carlos Santana’s three-run long ball to dead center gives him six home runs 15 RBI over the last two weeks that ball was at his eyebrows and there it is there is the magical summer Tangy sausage Toronto they actually stole back a few runs Vlad he smoked an RBI single and then David Schneider he made up for that error earlier in the game Toronto they’re still down by four wait hold on hold on Danny Jansen he cracked a two-run home run to make it a two-run deficit now vlat has a chance with the bases loaded and this is what we’ve been talking about for the last two years his second single of the day tied at eight he’s been crushing line drives and ground balls but they’ve been straight to people the last two years vat’s hitting 333 with a near 400 on base over his last 22 games Ernie Clement blooped one in but everyone had to wait to see if it dropped it did and the Jays they’re up by one now they went up two after a sack fly it’s just that Romano didn’t need that extra run so we’re going to skip to the final out backto back crazy games and I don’t know it feels like this could be the game that turns around the season for the Blue Jays the guy who started the scoring in this game was the same guy who ended it wait for it but yes Jordan Westburg he did double in Ryan Mount Castle only to have catel Marte blast off for the ninth time another home run versus a lefty he defeats that wall in left field both teams traded a few runs after that so it’s 4 to Arizona and the fifth Gunner he’s back at it his 12th home run ties Kyle Tucker and Marcel Ozuna the Arizona Bullpen I think got angry they set down nine in a row after that swing until sandir said I will not be the 10th in a row I will say Anthony gets some shine but he’s easily one of the more underrated Sluggers in all of baseball so we needed extras for this one Craig Kimbrell he struck out Jake McCarthy and Suarez he rolled over to give Craig a clean 11th yes nothing happened in the 10th Jordan Westberg his fourth hit of the game could win it and it does that ball was off the top of his Bat this team is unreal because Jordan Westberg the kids hitting 301 with six home runs five stolen bases 26 RBI Kobe Mayo’s not up yet hon kirat has been struggling we saw what happened with Jackson holiday if all of those guys come up and start raking I mean the Orioles they’re 26 and 12 after winning three in a row what’s their ceiling the Orioles are hoping that Tampa Bay does a number on nasty Nester and the Yankees and it started quick versus Nester yandi he’s been really struggling out the gate so he turns on the first pitch of the entire game and 400 feet later he’s got a home run the Yankees they have a red hot Anthony vulp though and everything seems to be landing for him lately two more score on a single and I don’t know what could have happened after that we’ll never know because Grisham he stupidly made the final out trying for third base don’t make the final out at third stay at second base you’re still in score position to me that kind of smooshed the momentum dead in its tracks and now it’s swung all the way back to Tampa Randy Ros Arena he’s on Pace to have the weirdest season ever like actually ever he’s on Pace for 29 home runs 25 stolen bases but a negative f War that’s because he’s only hitting 150 on the season now the Rays they showed off the leather with two separate web gems on the Rosario he went airborne and isok peret as he unhooked the trailer for a sick play in foul territory did sto did he just change the game is that ball leaving nope that is warning track power that would have been a go-ahead three- run home run instead yandi he started another rally his double scored one more and Randy he did the same thing Randy used to be an easy 30 plus doubles guy but they’ve vanished since 2022 he had 41 doubles and 153 games in 2022 he’s only got 23 over his last 190 anyway Tampa they make light work of the Yankees and the Rays they’re back to to a 500 record one day after walking the Dodgers San Diego sent out their be lineup I don’t know what their plan was for this game but Freddy he started the scoring off early off the knuckle baller Matt Walder that was off the knuckle ball Freddy’s got four home runs he held the Dodger score list for the next four Innings and I say that because despite locking in he’s out after walking Otani in the sixth and um yeah that Run’s going to score because T Oscar Hernandez might be the glitchiest six hitter in baseball history their six hitter now has 11 home runs 33 RBIs seven of those RBI have come in the last three games and now you have another newcomer who had a great game starting pitcher James Paxton he is basically unhitable when he doesn’t walk guys and he did not walk anyone in this one six shut out four strikeouts for Big Maple James Alman he is the definition of defense never slumps he made a Superman grab out there in center field but here comes the Padres are they about to cook up a comeback arise and tatis both single and that’s a double D no it’s not Max Muny has been a vacuum this year he has three DRS already at the hot corner and like the graphic says the Dodgers they set a franchise record for the most games in a row allowing four runs or fewer at 18 consecutive games the only team with more W’s than the Dodgers is Philly and they had a tough matchup in the Fresh Off The Isle Jesus lazardo the lizard man looked incredible which is very encouraging for Miami fans Jesus actually had the lead at one point he went for shutout to begin the game so this bruhan home run gave him a one- nothing lead for all of like 17 seconds with marfield he flew home to score on a single from JT Ruto and after Lardo got Harper swinging they brought in Maldonado to face bom with two outs bom singled and obviously that’s why you’re seeing Bryson stop my friend Bryson La is a double he has 17 RBI and a 415 on base percentage over his last 14 games that’s my friend the 17th RBI came on his fourth RBI of the game later in the eighth and two more singles pushed it all the way to eight runs for the Phillies pashe and Rojos they’re seeing the ball really well lately which is bad for the rest of baseball but hey look Miami they did something OT Lopez that’s a big boy 425t two-run home run it just didn’t mean much because Jazz he chases to end it the Phillies are the first team in baseball to 28 wins the Braves have been keeping Pace all season long they’ve actually won three in a row coming into this one against the Mets Mets rookie starter Christian Scott he was pumping upper 90s his dad was fired up he struck out two in an electric first inning the electricity can sometimes cost you though because when you’re throwing that hard sometimes you supply the power and Orlando Ria he did what you’re supposed to do on a two- count he has two home runs over his last three games and to make matters worse freed he was throwing a no hitter on the bump and nmo he has a right intercostal issue so Tyrone Taylor he’s out the game so the Mets they’re getting no hit they’re losing and now nmo might be missing some time Max freed got through six no hit Innings but he really had to work in the seventh his pitch count is way up there JD smoked a ball to deep Center but Michael Harris he’s him defensively he preserves the no hitter and then freed painted a 97 fast ball to end his night I think that’s the second time this year he’s gone six or seven Innings of no hit baseball but the pitch count ruined it Joe Jimenez or we call him briefcase Joe when he was with the Tigers he’s walking everyone but there’s still a no hitter Mets fans they were super upset with Starling because he just had an awful at bat to ruin any momentum so the Braves they’re now three outs away from a combined no hitter ryel he can do this he Strikes Out Lindor Pete Alonzo he broke his Bat and then JD Martinez broke the hearts of Braves fans everywhere his solo home run ruins the shut out the no hitter everything and that was followed up by a walk and then an infield single I need Brett batty to have his signature dang it that change up really worked I throw that same pitch in MLB the show and it gets hit 700 feet so again it just goes to show you that MLB the show is not realistic but anyways the Braves they’ve won four consecutive games in a row while the Mets they’ve dropped backto back games shifting gears back to some blowout games the Tigers they brought down the hammer on Chris jaier and the Astros it all started after Colt Keith scorched the ball past John Singleton and the bases ended up loaded for Riley green Javier was looking like a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates cuz he walked four hitters over an inning and a third now that right there is not a walk but everyone can walk home I mean Detroit is feeling themselves in their brand new city connect uniforms and Carrie Carpenter he followed up a wiel pz double with his first of two home runs the Tigers they scored seven in one inning Houston they scored a few but like I said Carrie had two home runs his Oppo power is impressive Carrie bonds now has 25 home runs and a crazy 125 Ops plus over his last 155 games sco ball wasn’t his sharpest self but I got to show some of his strikeouts he struck out seven over six and the third and for the the first time ever he threw a ball 100 milph it’s always fun to see him dice up people because he’s now 5-0 with a 2 era and dating back to last year he has 162 strikeouts and 129 Innings the Tigers they’re 20 and 19 so both the AL East and the AL Central now have four teams with 20 WS they’re the only two divisions in baseball with four teams who can say that the Royals have 24 wins and they’re actually going to stay at 24 yes the Angels won a game get the tissues ready Joe adell’s breakout season is something that the baseball World collectively has been waiting for for a half decade he did this off the nasty Cole rean as well which gives him a whopping seven home runs and seven stolen bases the whiff rate is a whole lot better as well a whiff is a swing in a Miss on pitches inside the zone so he’s finally doing damage on mistake pitches okay enough fanboying let’s spread the love Kevin polar he’s been on a mission lately to prove that he’s not washed salvi couldn’t block this thing so it’s now 5-1 Angels but Bobby with Junior had the most MLB the show Single I’ve ever seen so it’s back to 52 oh no Tyler Anderson he’s still out there for some reason an isbel he makes it 53 but remember how I said Bobby’s hit was straight out of MLB the show this one maybe even more so Kevin polar got beat he got jammed but he’s going to get two more RBI on his third hit of the night po then stole second base and then Logan ohappy sent a line drive down the left field line so I think he had a three RBI night as well Logan ohappy as a catcher now has 12 doubles and 16 home runs over his last 85 games the Angels they beat up the Royals 9 to3 the Halos win 9 to3 over the Royals and thank God they did that because Cleveland has literally looked like a t-ball team the last week after Paul D young singled he scored all the way from first on an RBI triple from Nikki Lopez but the scorekeepers got it right this time it was a double and an erir on will Brennan Martin Maldonado I mean if he’s getting base hits It’s A Wrap thank you Josh he has 11 home runs he has 28 home runs and 127 RBI and a 140 Ops plus over his last 159 games Tristan McKenzie fought his way through seven he’s been an ace the last month but uh his offense again they’ve been a t-ball offense Cleveland has scored six runs total in their first three games of the series they’ve lost three in a row and Chicago they’ve won four in a row they’re N9 and5 ever since Tommy fam got called up the Rockies another bad team but also another bad team who’s on a hot streak they probably should give this dude daily at bats Hunter Goodman I cannot believe these stats listen this kid has 16 home runs and 55 RBI in 35 AAA games 445 ft on that Moon shot for a second of the year now we’re going to skip to the sixth inning both teams they scored a few so it’s 2-2 Leo yod tarz he smoked a solo home run but that lead quickly disappeared because Marlins David Robertson came to pitch in this one you guys remember he got traded to the Marlins and became awful McMahon he ties it on his third base hit and again Robertson he was awful he faced four hitters all of them reached Diaz had an RBI single catcher Jacob Stallings continues to channel his inner Mike Patza he’s hitting 330 with nine rbi’s Charlie Blackman he’s now six for whoa holy voice crap yeah Chuck nasty he’s now six for his last seven with runners in score position he rips a pinch at Double and out of nowhere the White Sox they’ve won four in a row and the Rockies they’ve won three in a row if the Mariners win they’ll Leap Frog these slumping Rangers and that’s a great star Cal righ he said goodbye baseball he’s got 10 home runs Abraham Toro he does not have 10 home runs but he does now have 16 RBIs Brent Rooker he’s so strong that even when he gets sought off it’s going to land for an RBI so the A’s they up a run and look at Tyler Sodom playing some sick defense at first base he can be a lineup changer if he sticks offensively same with this kid Lawrence Butler he made a spectacular running gra to Rob jrod and Brett Harris at third base call this team the Platinum A’s they’re making web gems left and right Joey Estus and Bryce Miller the pitchers they were both good they combined for three runs on seven base hits between the both of them but we’re going to skip to the eighth because Oakland they turn this into a blowout Max Schuman he cleared the bases on a double he quietly has four RBI and a 423 on base percentage to start the month of May JJ BL day good L brother that ball had a family he launched a two-run home run for his fifth he has 17 RBI now and a one 121 Ops plus jrod he strikes out to end it so he’s 0 for his last 12 with six punch outs Seattle they picked a good day to lose because the Rangers also lost jrod has not been as bad as Goldie we’ll talk about the Cardinals after this one because another team was held to one run the Reds this game was over in the first inning so I don’t really mind spoiling it Matt Chapman yes please keep doing this but I hate that it’s off Nick Lolo because I love ldo but hey Chapman he really needed that I think this slam brought his Ops plus up to 80 so again he really needed that here’s the only run that since scored all day Ed L Cruz what are these stats nine home runs and 25 stolen bases so yes he is still on Pace for over 100 actually I think he’s on Pace for 104 stolen bases um is that a Trevor Miguel he closed it out for his fourth save the Brewers they’ve now won eight in a row versus the Cardinals and I got a question is it time for the Cardinals to trade everyone they’re now 15 and 24 and this is after they were awful last season as well the attendance is declining because Cardinal fans are not going to be paying for this mediocrity they do not want to support a losing dumpster team and then you got Goldie putting up swings like this and he’s a free agent after the season and I think you probably got to move him and turn the page because he struck out four times yesterday which means he’s 1 for 32 to start the month of May I think that a fresh start is needed I mean even arado he’s been decent but nothing special since 20122 is it time to really just turn the
