all right Bob another solid round out there today I guess maybe just compare kind of how the first two days have gone out here on this golf course no I think it’s been it’s been really good I think it’s difficult to back up a a good good round yesterday um felt like I done that really well the the front nine I was absolutely pretty much Flawless golf missed a few chances but when you keep giving yourself lots of chances you’re going to take some so overall a a good round today and a good one yesterday the wind was obviously picking it up there a little bit as you’re kind of finishing the around I guess what’s your comfort level uh been out here so far yeah it’s just it’s different you’ve not got as much room to to maneuver it I like to shape the ball so off are some funnels that you’ve got to play it through but the golf course needs a bit of Breeze and I think it’s a it’s a good test when it comes up and yeah I mean the last kind of six holes I felt like it was it was just switching around a little bit there so it made it a bit difficult yes yeah I I’ll apologize at first Reef dropping yesterday but I overheard some some of the things you had to say about really just the decision to come to play on the PGA tour and and with the the family Dynamic and and all that that entail if you could go through that place yeah it’s just I mean look I’m from a small town in in the west coast of Scotland that I mean a lot of people never leave Oben I mean they go on holidays and stuff but they never they’re born there they work there they ultimately die there um I’m whole family and friends are there um they’re probably always going to be there and it’s just difficult when I come over here me and my girlfriend were trying to trying to make it home and it’s difficult when you’ve not got that family connection we’re giving it our best shot but it’s completely different to to home life and obviously I got home there for 3 weeks and managed to have somewhat of a normal normal life for three weeks so um I’ve come back out this stretch obviously had a good week with with Thomas dietre and and Zurich last week was just mad scoring and then this week I’m to be honest I’m just in a a good mind frame um going into these few weeks so what what is your home life like I mean obviously you’re traveling a bunch where are you living in the US and is it a permanent home no it’s not a permanent home I’m try we’re just again it’s a it’s a trial period we’re trying to test out where where home is going to be um renting a place in Orlando um practicing out of Alworth so the facilities are absolutely incredible the I thought that moving to the US was the only way of me achieving my dreams in golf I don’t know if that’s the answer um I feel like a happy Bob McIntyre’s a dangerous Bob McIntyre on a golf course and home life makes me happy so that’s why like I’m probably going to go home after the after the next couple events I’ll go home back to Scotland rather than than go to Orlando and how long are you committed to playing on the PJ tour at this point are you considering one and done and going back to DP World Tour I mean I’m trying to keep my my card out here it’s it’s not easy um I’ve not had the greatest of of starts um or after had an all right start I’ve not played the way I’ve wanted to play and I want to be one of the best players in the world so whatever I’ve got to play I’ll play um whether it’s the us whether it’s in Europe whether it’s further a field it doesn’t doesn’t phase me I’m used to traveling is that why you came to the US and the PJ tour to try to be the best in the world and how hard of a how difficult of a decision was it actually to make to actually pull the Trigg it wasn’t a it wasn’t a difficult decision um the world ranking points the financial gain and the practice facilities I mean it’s it can only benefit me if I play good golf and I’ve got I can go back to European tour anytime I want um I’ve obviously got that grace period with the 10 cards that we’ve got this year and I’ve obviously got one in the back pocket from from plan Rider cup so I mean I’m comfortable I’m just trying to become one of the best players in the world and I mean I don’t know what limit I’ve gotten in golf I don’t know where my limit is so I’m just trying my best every day accept what’s going what I get and just work harder and you mentioned the rider cup was it did that fulfill a lifetime goal essentially of being a ryer cup member and especially on a Victorious team exactly getting in the team was part of it but winning it was the main thing and that was my job was to go there and win the Raider cup and thankfully I had guys on my side that were were wanting to do the same and we done it I mean that’s just a I think it’s everyone that a EUR every European that plays professional golf that’s a dream and I got to live out a dream and that’s as simple as that I’m just wondering how does a fellow from o Scotland get to mcne State and how does it match up here’s a guy with a Scottish accent talking cinjun there’s got to be some fun and games in that no it was different it was different um I remember my first ever class was uh public speaking class and they didn’t understand one word when I was doing presentations so it was a bit different down there but we play a European Team Championship which is the main kind of Junior event in Europe where likes a Victor um would have played a lot of the European guys ludvig would have played it and that’s where all the college coaches come that’s where the main hub for picking out the European guys to go to a college out here so the coach of mcnees um seen me there and then offered me a great deal and I thought well I I wasn’t one to go and my mom was like you’ll regret it growing up You’ look later back in your life and you go you never made it in professional golf and you didn’t give that a shot and um so we gave it a go and we lasted a year and a half but it was a great learning curve being from the west coast of Scotland what’s your familiarity with royal trun and I’m sure you have thought about the Open Championship later this year and how far is Oban from Glasgow for example yeah I mean because of the way Scotland is I’m I’m three-hour drive to trun I’m further north um and I’ve never played Royal TR in my life which amazes a lot of people but I’m sure in the in the time off that I’ve got coming up or I’ve pled that I’ve got coming up um I was planning on going down there and playing a couple of rounds I’ve got a couple of friends that are there and um whatnot and so um I’m looking forward to to getting back on links golf thank you thank you final one yesterday mentioned it was nice to play with Ryan Fox and the fairing just right now you guys exchange numbers how does that kind of play into having two nice rounds some you’re friendly with no it’s brilliant um look it’s difficult for all the European guys all the guys played in Europe um coming out here this year obviously Foxy’s got his family out with him it’s it’s a completely different lifestyle in the US and good or bad I mean some people love it some people hate it and it it’s just a different culture different style of life and it’s good to have people on the same boat as you you’re I’ve struggled out here with a lifestyle um I think the majority of the European guys have struggled since coming out here it’s been it’s been so different but it’s good to have guys like playing with foxy there that really couldn’t care less about the golf when we were going around there we were just having fun chatting and out here I feel like there’s less it’s work look we don’t need to chat no one needs to chat you but out there with foxy at F you’re just playing golf with me and um Nikki’s caddy was there as well who we know well and Scotty my caddy we just yeah when we’re over the shots at serious and when we’re getting ready to hit the shot of serious but once that ball’s in the sky who cares let’s just go have a laugh and it worked well the last two days for both of us
