the forecast at the beginning of the week we thought oh my goodness could be rain delays with May storms here in Texas but it hasn’t been the case apart from an hour delay Zack Johnson for a birdie Milestone weak for him Johnson 500 starts on the PGA tour just speaks to the remarkable consistency he’s had to not only play 500 events but whoa keep his card that long it’s not many guys on that list great start for Zach [Applause] great po great [Applause] start yeah nicely done P Champion here R it back in 2008 minu Lee for a birdie at the eighth players trying to get some momentum here make a move up the leaderboard they know they are birdies out out there ni Dunlap this from The Edge at three to get it to nine under teetering on the edge of being in real trouble over this green but now has a good look putting down the hill there it is had that great win early in the season out in the desert and now look Lee there you go on quite the Run look at this longest birdie streak of his career five in a row I think he’ll break that shortly this guy’s got a really bright future the next step for him surely is to put some winds out here in the PGA too trying to run up that slope yeah really [Applause] good oh that’ll settle him down a little bit important approach huh very important maybe making par this way maybe even better than him making a birdie on the first hole down towards the bottom of the hill we saw the hole out earlier from this exact [Applause] spot nearly another one he’s got it going today got his old caddy on the bag mark sble this a pitching wedge this looks great oh yeah could be the best of the day what a club by sble Andrew Novak here at the 17th for a birdie have not seen many birdies here today especially from here there you go all right finally this group both of them going to walk off with twos to put that in perspective about 80 ft is about a a regular amount of puts to hole in a round of gold on tour so anything over 100 is good and that was excellent big greens here though you get a lot of long putts like this this one what a putt by nap and a short one left to take a share of the lead with pendri now at the eighth and here’s Ben Kohl’s who’s only three shot back yeah whole location today just tucked over in that front right corner of the green oh right at [Applause] it and that’s what we’re going to see today battling through a big sort of injury with his left shoulder Ian nearly no it has not affected his chipping whatsoever up to nine and the par five here’s the second for kls already seen a couple of eagles here today reachable five and this one heading to the back hole location and we might see another Eagle I could it be three might see another one here doy let’s see if Kohl’s can knock this one in yes he can third eagle of the day at nine and now we have a three-way tie at the top as Ben Kohl’s goes to 16 under back at seven now the birdie chance for Troy Merritt that incredible attempt from Jake would certainly help oh it sure did Mark and they’re all starting to go [Music] in hunting [Music] Frank little spoon’s going to make it better more straight back keeps the club moving for it’s not too static when he gets over the ball which is always good takes some of the tension out and pendri right in the middle of the [Music] Fairway two top 10 this season his best was a tie for Ninth at the farmers that’s the shape you got to try there for this pen and he’s done it well oh what a great shot by pendri and a chance to extend his lead at the difficult 12th hole and and pendri a chance to get to 18 under par I’d expect this one to go straight in the middle on the hardest hole on the course Taylor pendri staying hot and now our leader at 13 John to extend that lead to three he is rolling it beautifully [Music] oh is that any good decent liar though 60 degree wedge and a lot of green to work with yeah that was lovely speed wasn’t it that long lazy Rhythm comes in so handy what an exceptional golf shot okay Matt Wallace now on the team trying to bounce back after that boog on 16 this looks like he could do just that right at it stay there fantastic shot from Matt Wallace that is one of the closest we have seen all afternoon look at that he kind of gives that finally back at 16 nap tapped in and now we go to 17 Wallace for birdie very nice two there okay all right now pendri for birdie to get to 20 under he looked early well still a big day for the big Canadian Taylor pendrith a round of 63 up ahead at 18 here’s the third from Matt [Applause] Wallace over the creek right out the ho location what a shot by Wallace and Jake’s trying to make it 2011 to get to 18 under and within one of Taylor pendrith needs it to get into that final group if they go in threes tomorrow because of weather that would be a big Advantage for him no don’t sleep on Nap Jake nap with birdie at 18 and he’s only one back
