Jordan Spieth discussed reactions from PGA Tour players regarding pay outs from the equity plan

Jordan just because you were part of the process on the policy board uh what was your take on how the roll out was for the player Equity program and have you heard any reaction from players I had a couple players call me and say wow I didn’t know they were excited about you know what their grants uh I don’t know what their grants were they were excited that it was more than they thought it was um you know I had conversations all the way back to you know even maybe just into the new year with some guys who missed out on it that would have made it other years and so I’ve I’ve heard both sides um as far as the roll out uh I believe that it was made very clear to everybody that there if anyone was confused in what it meant how it was coming and um the roll out specifically they had there was me u u PGA Tour officials every week that could sit down and explain at any time anybody wanted to I thought that was a good idea cuz I think it’s very confusing it still is um for us players on you know when it’s vested what’s the best idea for um for taxes you know stuff that we don’t we have people that we all have people for that um it’s not what any of us do and it’s fairly complicated so um you know I think your question was about the rolling out um I’ve not I’ve not heard people upset with the process as much as maybe just in general the idea of it if they missed out on it or if they and there were a lot there obviously guys excited about it too so
