this is boxing tickets and I we are here for part two of Holy Trinity GL be join once again with the Apache and cachu we’re we’re two weeks out now from your rescheduled uh obviously fight with Jer in for ABF and IBO titles y guess obviously last time we spoke was your your birthday your 35th birthday in February a couple hours later the the fight was the car was postponed probably May Fair say probably the worst birthday present you got uh it doesn’t it give me more time to prepare and and to get back into the gym and and plug away so not really it was just just the way things happen in this game and I’m kind of used to it at the minute so not going to complain I’m just happy it’s rescheduled and and we’re getting the fight again it’s I guess you know when it sort of I guess it couldn’t have came out worst time we done an interview and then I was sort of going I don’t want to text you obviously it’s your birthday even though it was fight news everything else was like don’t want to Mage you in any way and go and do your fights off and like I guess obviously when you look at the grand scheme of your career you probably until you steps that in the ring you probably don’t expect these things are going to happen that’s the way it is I mean there’s been plenty of times I a story I was in Philadelphia train away for a fight and uh made it to the venue the opponent made it to the venue you uh fight didn’t go ahead because the opponent got up in the middle of the night and and went home because his room was too cold so unless you’re in the ring there’s nothing there’s nothing certain like what I you know I guess two weeks exactly out now from obviously the fight um like what what a what a card you’re on like a historic card obviously the first first ever four belt here obviously Tyson Fury and Alexander like I guess you probably don’t think too much of that F because you have everything else to deal with but in a way for you is it good that your fight with Joker say isn’t the main event everybody else focuses on the main event so sort of what’s the under card you can sort of go f sort of noral routin without too much F yeah well I mean I haven’t even you know I don’t care about any fight that’s on the card really and that’s not mean in disrespectful L but I mean I’ve got my job to do and and Joe to concentrate on so I mean it’s great to be part of this big card and and these big nights so but at the end of the day I have to concentrate on what I have to do so 12 years obviously a proo we touched on it the last time when when you you know i’ probably say one of your biggest characteristics over the last couple years is sort of this bulletproof mentality you sort of have I guess you’ve been through so much heartache in the sport that it probably is right in the story even better you know that everything you’ve come through you know in years to come people’s going to have videos and stuff of Kachi theand that sort of so much heartbreak in the sport and then obviously gets the promised land of here and new like you know what say a roller coaster you’ve had over these last 12 years yeah yeah I mean 12 years of pro is like much longer um you have your ups and downs but for me it’s about getting over them and and I and I have get over them and and when the opportunities arose as then the British title I always had to get in the position so I’ve taken them all you know what I mean I beat s bour undefeated you know the me am time beat um magnesi there the last one last or not the last one the one before that my last performance wasn’t a great performance there was issues there but I’ve always overcome and for this I’m just grateful to have this opportunity I know I know there’s not many people that give me a shot going over here even even even at home here you know but I couldn’t give a [ __ ] to be honest you know what I mean because I’ve been in these I’ve been in these situations before and I’ve pulled it off so I should say I might not pull it off again I’ve TR my Poli off for so but but obviously you look at you know your last fight was obviously May May of last year obviously in Belfast year ago was it so so in some ways it’s probably the fight being delayed probably maybe worked into your hands in a way because you’ve been used to an activity sort of whereas for Joe cardina I know he’s boxed since in Monaco but in some ways sort of fall into your favor the fact that you’ve been used to sort of having s lined obviously out of the ring so it’s actually working to your favor I don’t know I don’t know I mean it just is what it is kind of hang I don’t think it worked to anyone’s favor it would have been nice to get it done then but you know again I just touch on the extra time it’s just for me happened that we but them extra I’ve been in C 9 10 weeks do you know what I mean n and a half weeks and it’s it’s been a long one but um it depends on what way you look at it I’m just happy again just happy that it’s happening grateful thank God that you know Fury cut that time the whole car could have been rearranged or Joe could have wanted to move on and got a better offer elsewhere and and you know he stck his guns and he’s and he’s and he’s F me again and he and he he sat it out and waited so for days the saies probably are the ones to think the most you know probably you know we we’ve known for years that obviously you’re an aoid man that people won’t fight you joer had sort of said in the past that they want the unifications you want the big fights the Saudis have came along and they’ve offered bundles of money to people so in some ways you probably the Saudis to think for you always to get this opportunity absolutely I mean they’re obviously offering je Jo probably getting the best pay he ever got probably double or travel I’m not sure but I would say so do you know what I mean so yeah I’ve got turkey El to the to than he’s um picking up the money and he’s and he’s um he’s bringing these big NS and he’s bringing these big names you know you see the way the football’s going the Snickers going it’s all going to Saudi Arabia and I’m just buzzing to bring all my team over like you know what I mean there everyone I know that’s going over they’re all buzzing my brother he’s coming over I mean it’s just so exciting so exciting the buzz is going to be unreal again like I Underdog mentality I do feel like an underdog um I’m going to over a lot this up I’m going to really enjoy it and um there’s no pressure on me not one single bit of pressure on me again everyone thinks I’m going to get beat anyway but let’s see let’s see obviously watch you training here this morning obviously you seem as obviously you know I’ve seen you obviously train and everything else quite some time you look very sharp very on it is it you using that Underdog mentality that’s bringing the best of you probably the right time maybe maybe or else I I’m just driven I mean I I say underdo and all that but I I still a winner I’m still a winner I still want to win there’s never there’s not one bit and save me that would not going in here and die TR you know what I mean like I’m not going over here to to make up the numbers like I’m going over here to fight like [ __ ] go over here and try and cause Joe problems know we all know what Joe’s what Joe’s about Joe Julie is a SLI operator he’s very fast but can he take can he take heavy shots I’m not I’m not their average fighter I can make it ugly I can I can make this fight something he’s never been part of before so that’s the plan your fight with a joker has sort of started a new wave with obviously Queensbury and obviously matcham you know obviously two weeks later they’re doing the 5v5 in some ways probably your fight with Joo sort of started that in the way with the going of already won fight sort of I know even though your fight was announced and everything else people were still mentioning you for the 5v5 card yeah like what a dramatic time it is for for box and everywhere that two of the biggest Powerhouse promoters are coming together and obviously two weeks after your fight card they’re putting on a 535 listen it’s it’s unbelievable for for the average Jee for these these Fighters even in Britain that are getting the Box on these type of cards are getting paid well and that’s not bit around a bush I mean boxing about everyone wants PID and that’s just the way it is like I mean if they’re going over the you know these were title shots if I was getting this world title shot somewhere else you know I wouldn’t be getting half the money do you know what I mean but it’s like it’s great to have the Saudis on board because the money are and and these guys in Britain and guys in Ireland are getting these opportunities and they’re getting paid for it and and they’re bringing some decent money home to the family how do you see 5 F5 going on the first of June obviously you know we’ve seen obviously all the matchups and everything else how do you see it going I guess obviously you’re a Queensbury fighter in the day so you’re always going in their side but how do you see that sort of Fight Card going well I hope Queensbury win I hope Queensbury win I mean I didn’t know he’s on it who’s on it I think you have Z and Wilder andam Shir fighting Shir a nice right AR they was saying about that NE um listen I want Queen beer one um don’t know W Hearn don’t know anything about Mom they’ve never been really interested in me so [ __ ] them I’m not interested in them or or any other faders to be honest I’m I’m interested in Queens be frank and what’s going on here that’s for my stream don’t give a [ __ ] looks like they’re obviously going to do the second part obviously the 55 and wble obviously and obviously land the ABF title but that be on your horizons I guess revisit who who’s on on that they’re going to do again on W blade in September right three 55 so all right okay okay well I sry as long as FRS behind it that’s good you know what I mean it’s listen when L A draw that’s fight I still got it I’ve still I’ve still got plenty to do here there’s plenty of names or the can I can fight after this fight you know I fight Arie sharp on you know any of these boys when Los draw I’ve still got plant in me and I’ve still got fight the the mem yet hearing them words obvious know we spoke the last time hearing them words obviously on the new when we spoke at last time you said you going to do a lap of the whole venue well obviously we seen obviously your Victory obviously follow your knees um was obviously magy is it still obviously you’re going to do a lot of the venue obviously after you beat your din listen if I W this fade it’s just it’s history it’s history i’ be the first a super fow champ ever that’s amazing that’s that’s crazy so like listen I would that type of Joy I can’t even imagine right now I’ve got a job to do and uh I don’t even want to picture that type of stuff really do you know what I mean I just want to envisualize what’s going to help in the F what yous bringing to the table and just doing things correctly from here here to F night the first obviously major obviously of the fourball era in five years now obviously just past 5 years can you see see yourself obviously being that sort of converyor both the next next slot obviously we’ve seen car Frampton done we’ve seen ranett done you could be the guy that that wins one of these four major belts and then starts a conveyor belt go on again for everybody else can follow very quickly well listen there’s plenty of up incomers in the country I’m not going to say that because no I’m probably not to be honest because there’s plenty of talent in this country there’s Crocker there’s cave Nago there’s there’s a million of them so they they the Next Generation and they’re all building themselves up and you know most of them are bigger than me as it stands now if I win this title yeah I’m a nice headline for Belfast but the boys are the future do you know what I mean well listen my thank you very much for your time wanted to keep it short and keep it sweet sweet um obviously two weeks today obviously you take on joer um for an ibf who would have thought like who would have thought you know what I mean it’s crazy the day would been nice if it was 5 years ago you were you prediction it you weren’t going to fight and stuff again you know where you obviously you’re being the worst of a sport you now think that that perseverance has got you to this point and it’s through you more than anything obviously we know people putting the money up and everything else but it’s your perseverance and keep going and keep going absolutely absolutely list I I I’ve said that before in the past that I wasn’t going to box but and all you know this is it that’s is it this is what was more of the anger and frustration I am a feder nothing’s ever going to change I have been a fader since it was n 10 years of age even after this still going to be a fader in some way she perform don’t know how or what way or but I’m going to be part of it because that’s who I am and I don’t think I would be able to live without it and in furnace so I’ll find a way to be part of this game and and and continue to to do will you and M St in your 60 days be boxing gloves on obviously Sean’s probably one of the one of the the great guys obviously there’s a lot of great guys in the sport but Sean I guess you know has to pick pick himself up now and go again obviously great run was on and listen judges that shows you Sean mome that was late notice for sh mome as well and look what he done do you know what I mean the guy is a superstar and not up is just what he is very very good at what he does Barbosa get out clo out booxed and and smashed up at night and this is a dirty business that we’re in we all know it sometimes you need to take a baseball bat to the [ __ ] fight with you because you know the only chances of getting it and beating these Golden Boys is literally going downtown on them I mean yeah you just can’t beat them this business stinks we all know no no beting around the bush this business stinks from the core right up so we all know it and we’re all used to it but commiserations to Sean that type of performance shows exactly where he’s at and I expect them now to to get make more money and bigger fights out of that performance even though he lost very much e that fingers crossed obviously in two weeks time judges obviously aren’t the to point in your fight obviously too no you know obviously from that happening obviously hopefully they make sure the judges is going to score a fight correctly rather than than obviously what the score that your
