hello you golfing Legends I hope you are all doing well I really really do long time no see I’ve been very busy lately and it’s been Easter and I’ve had other kids and it was like you know I had no time to do this uh video in Lo anyways today right I want to talk about a video that Rick Shields released yesterday right and um just let’s make it clear it’s not going to be a rick Shields slagging video I’m going to slag him off right cuz I quite like the Gea I really really do like only a few days ago he entered the London Marathon right and I think he ran it in about two and a half hours I don’t know who would have believe someone like Rick Shields is good at running but apparently is and like I say he did it all for charity he did it for like a um a kids hospice or something like that and so can we have a round of applause there for Rick Shields he’s raised a lot of money and it’s it’s not the only time he’s done it he’s done loads of like when he’s riding up and down the country with a a golf bag on his or something like that golf bag on his back and um so we can’t slack him off I reckon he’s in the running for an obbe right it’s an award that we give out in this country if you’re from America I really do I think watch this space I reckon he will he will be the first YouTuber to to get an obbe bookmark this so anyways right I’m talking about a video that he did where he used clickbait title uh it was big news right and um I would expect this from a lowlife YouTuber like myself right not from the number one golf YouTuber in the world that I look up to he’s the Maverick like everyone looks up toi Shields and he’s resorted to these tactics who on Earth in his team has allowed him to do this to do uh the title the thumbnail title of big news when all it is is an advertisement for echo shoes right who on Earth in his team cuz as you know he’s got a team of about 25 people working through for him now who allowed him to put that video out under that thumbnail titled big news when it was just a blatant ad for echo shoes like he didn’t need to do that and it and by his standards it hasn’t got a lot of views surely surely he would have done much better and got a lot of more respect from people like myself if he did a thumbnail of himself holding up the new Rick Shields golf sh which by the way it’s a lovely looking shoe now from what I know these shoes are not cheap like the standard price for an Echo shoe I think is a couple of hundred quid well over a couple of hundred pound and um um I’m I suspect that cuz these are limited editions and I think they’re going to fly off the shelf I don’t know probably not but um so I reckon that they might go for £300 I don’t know yet right but it’s not up on the website yet but uh man of the people Rick Shields woohoo selling you 300 golf shoes right no but no all the best good luck to you mate you you’re a success I’m not slagging you off for that I’m just like come on man set an example you don’t need to resort to this and of course it’s created a backlash similar to the video that he put out a little while ago about when he did remember when he released a merch that he don’t wear himself yeah a YouTub released merch that he doesn’t and um uh the the comments that he got from that was like horrific and these ones are no better there’s some hilarious ones there go there and have a look at the the comments it’ be a r off um someone put uh imagine trying to chip whilst looking down on RS branded shoes right uh some put so the huge news is just an ad yeah absolutely the prices of these are going to be uh crazy like Rick Shield’s channel has officially jumped the shark and there someone else commented that surely it would have been much better if win a pair of Rick Shield’s new shoes you know um so yeah apparently they flew him out didn’t they from Manchester all the way to Denmark and they designed it with them and uh I mean it does look nice they look like a nice pair of shoes comment down below though would you wear a pair of Rick shoes they say that they were selling for 50 Quid I don’t know perhaps I would buy a pair I don’t know but I mean they’re going to be about 300 quid aren’t they I mean I I I’ll be interested to uh see how much they go for but the main point I say the main point of this video is that why does he have to resort to those T it’s not winning uh winning him any friends even his hardcore fans are uh slagging him off for this anyways uh that’s all I have time for tonight and uh tonight or today uh I’ll speak to you soon right laters
