[Music] UFC Vegas 91 this is the weigh-in recap show full card predictions and the betting breakdown I’m looking forward to talking about each of the matchups on this card after seeing the fighters on companion live tomorrow Saturday 400 p.m. eastern time remember earlier start for the UFC Apex card I’ll be live for the entire thing so make sure you guys tune into it let’s start it off with the first fight on the card we have mahash Hayer versus Gabrielle Benitez I’ve been going with Benitez throughout the week and I have had nightmares bad feelings about it I really think that it’s bad hunch on my front and I said all week to myself wait till Friday wait till weigh-ins and see how you feel because you guys if you’ve been watching the shows all week you know the other day I almost flipped towards the side of mahate the things I liked about benitz I feel like I might be pulling at straws a little bit looking at some offense that he has but maybe underestimating mate’s potential too at just 24 but also just his striking game that he’s already got developed let’s look at them on the scale and let’s see how everything is feeling here okay let’s check them out I’m going to shrink myself down and we got blond haired mahash who looks like he’s going Super Saiyan and I honestly think he might be in the best shape I’ve ever seen from him on the other side we got Mowgli Benitez in good shape but has like that permanent slight bottom fat dadbod because I think he’s towards the teetering end of his athletic career and he’s taken a lot of damage in the past few fights and even though I believe a primed Benitez on the feet could really touch mahash and maybe even knock him out I got to be realistic and talk about The Who and now I see the cuppings all over his back the Benitez is trying to stay youthful in the game but I don’t think that he’s there anymore and I think that if I pick Benitez it’s a disservice so I am going to pick flip towards mahat with a knockout win in the second or third round could it be in the first absolutely but I believe the first round mahate and benitz both have moments I think Benitez still is going to have some Sting to him early if I end up pick flipping towards mahate and Benitez wins then I think it will be absolutely confirmed that my postway and pick flips are forever cursed in the game seriously I’m not even joking around because right now when I’ve been pick flipping after weigh-ins the last time I won one granted I don’t do it as often as I used to was Bruno Silva I pick flipped from Brad to tarz to him and he knocked him out but outside of it the pick flips have been horrible for me so I’m going to do it I’m going to go to mahash so if you got mahash as a main stay in your parlay or a lock I think right now if you’re a consistent Watcher of the show you might be [ __ ] your pants but I promise you I’m not jinxed I’m not cursed I just been a little unlucky with some delusional pick flips this seems like a sensible pick flip to me because I’m going off an underdog that I had early but now going towards my to get it done I think so blonde Maat I can’t pick against I’m going with Super Saiyan masat for the win looking at the odds for this fight bonitz is plus 205 as a dog mahate minus 240 the love for mahash shate as a favorite has grown all week for it seems like most people that are betting it and for me also who was on the other side teetering but I got to go mahash I think he’s going to win by knockout I think he’s taking bonitz mahash by KO is only plus 105 masat by second round knockout is plus 575 with third round at plus 1200 interesting for sure uh but not like he couldn’t put out Benitez in the first round we’ve seen bitez get knocked out in the first round I’m flipping masat for the win I think a lot of you that were watching me yesterday on The Late Night Live thought I was going to do it well here it is masat pick flip to start the night off let’s keep running up the card next fight on the card ladies going after it we have Ivana Petrovic versus nalong pretty clear pick to me Ivana Petrovic will win if she doesn’t win that would be a horrible bust and I think that she would turn out to be uh yeah one of those like awfully signed prospects this would be terrible it’s not going to happen though like nalong super limited three losses in a row 0 and3 in the UFC seems like she’s only got takedowns and like pressure attacks but isn’t really that technically great Ian Petrovic should be better in the standup I think better in the grappling maybe early nalong has a slight wrestling Edge but it’s only going to last a couple of minutes I’m going Petrovic for the win here and another thing about nalong that I want to say is even though she is you know only 27 she’s 19 and seven as a pro and we’re seeing a flawed skill set in somebody with over 25 MMA fights I recognize she’s still 27 but that’s a ton of experience so like if she was going to put it all together I just feel like personally it might have already been together by this point in her MMA career this fight here going to be her 27th Pro fight I’m going with Petrovic as a prospect I just think she’s got way more upside looking at the scales between the two ladies which you know not expecting much uh there is Petrovic who looks jacked honestly ready to rock great shape she looks phenomenal there is s Yong excuse me nalong flexing out she looks you know not in great shape to be honest man I don’t know just doesn’t have it I just don’t think she has it Petrovic has a lot more muscularity to her she’s just a naturally better athlete I think nalong unfortunately is uh just not super skilled and I think Petrovic wins I think Petrovic probably finishes knockout or submission or Al so if you’re going towards inside distance looking at it Petrovic inside of the distance what do we got plus 37 no minus 225 I’m pulling as straws Patrol by decision is plus 375 – 225 inside distance for him man uhuh P trovik by sub is plus 165 KO plus 160 it could be either method I think it’s on the ground I don’t know Petrovic by sub I’m just going to call that one but I recognize that I could get myself into trouble picking Petrovic by submission CU she could definitely win with ground and pound in this fight too petrovic’s going to get it done she’s a 5 to one favorite she deserves this tag nalong is not a UFC level fighter and that’s just the facts face to facts Petrovic for the W let’s keep running next fight is James Lop versus Chris Padilla I picked James Lop to win this fight I mean he was booked to be fighting on this Vegas 91 card Chris Padilla took this this fight on very short notice which I respect I respect Padilla jumping in I think that La toop striking is going to be too much for him now there is something to note half a pound overweight was James laop which is interesting though because Padilla is the one that’s coming in on days notice and he was on point with the weight at 154 and a half the odds for this fight are ugly let’s look at the scales and then we’ll talk odds but I’ve been going lawn toop to TKO and I think that’s probably the side that I’ll stay on but Padilla’s looking in good shape I’m not giving him the Spanish twist to the name Padia I’m just calling him Padilla I think it’s Padilla I don’t know I think uh I think I might be over exaggerating the pronunciation called him Padilla when he’s an american guy looking at the other side James Lon toop he’s got a badass face tat and neck tat he’s a good Striker he’s in shape he’s got a size Edge I’ll call Lawn toop and I’m going to say that he gets it done by KO but I don’t like I don’t know I don’t like the odds I don’t like the fact that we really don’t know enough about lawn toop he’s minus 440 the favorite Padilla plus 340 lawn top by KO is minus 110 I think that there’s a finish I think it goes under two and a half at minus 170 Padilla is looking to get it to the ground long toop is looking to pressure strike and I think long toop can do damage and stop Padilla but I got to respect what I’m seeing from Chris Padilla he’s in shape James Long Toop off weight but still in very good shape we got unproven guys on both fronts at the end of the day I’ll guess what’s going to happen is laop knocks him out in the second round that’s going to be my Mystic Mac prediction in this fight here but recognize that Padilla does have some grappling skill and he’s got some takedowns in the Arsenal and laop’s only 24 bro he’s younger than me so young guy we’ll find out next fight on the card we have Katlin sza versus marck man I really think Katlin sza beats Marik man she should be able to clean sweep three rounds like if this isn’t a 3027 Clean Sweep I feel like I’m kind of shocked I really don’t feel like mckm is all that good uh she’s a girl that’s tough for sure and she’s got some wrestling she’s taking on Katlin so’s a neck tap blonde hair Savage look there’s mikm I mean listen marmahon has got heart but I just think she’s going to be outskilled she’s fighting a Brazilian and Savage come on we know the way this fight’s going like I think that Katlin sza probably rips her up on the feet even gets on top of mikm a bit she should win I just don’t think mikm is a striking at all to keep up and I feel like s is going to win now Marik manon’s toughness could definitely keep her in the fight I know she did get knocked out by Bruno Brazil so I guess that could be a little bit of concern if you throwing the over the odds here minus 355 sza marck man plus 290 probably over 2 and A2 and minus 265 I’m really not all that interested in betting this one maybe over but the thing I’ll tell you is like 355 for Kellin sza her debut she got tapped really quick against Karen Silva and I know Karen Silva is nasty and she’s on this card and we’ll talk about that fight in a bit marck man plus 290 0 and2 when they in like you know UFC matches including contenders so the try out she lost to Brun Brazil she fought uh Josephine kuten got worked for three rounds I think Katlin Souza can probably work her for three rounds and win so I’m going to go with soua to win this fight on the judges scorecards I think she’ll pull it off next fight on the card we got heavyweights Dantel Mae versus Kyo masado dant May came in all the way up at 264 he’s huge for this fight this is a large Dantel was he 264 last fight I know he’s a big dude but is he always weighing 260 I got to double check this yeah 26 62 261 what was he here against Hamdi 255 yeah I know I know I I know it Dante Ma has gotten a little fatter I’ve been picking him all week though to win as an underdog against Kyle Mado you’re running the risk with a very inconsistent heavyweight with Dante Mae but look at masado dude he’s not in great shape either he was a can crusher in Canada he fought Lee mean who was like 50 at the time twice that’s two of his W’s that he has bro dant May has gained weight he’s gotten fatter maybe a little muscle game but like I’m worried man Dante’s got a lot of muscle on him but that could definitely lead to uh the gas tank slowing down maybe in the third round put in some bad spots and in a close fight if you lose a competitive third round we’re going to be on the downside with Dante losing by decision but I will say if that big [ __ ] Dantel May frame who has definitely put on some size touches the chin of Mado he’s laying him out but look at the side by side you at home can pick masado confidently to beat dant Mae I can’t I can’t if I saw these two facing off in a parking lot I know the way this fight’s going down why am i g to act like the prediction is going to be different here I’m going with dant Mae to dust Kyle masado I think he can knock him out especially with more size now all week though I’ve been kind of saying Dantel May unfortunately doesn’t pull the trigger all the time so decision is there at over 2 and a halfus 170 minus 110 money line I’m going Dante to win I think at even money he pulls it off he’s a longtime vet maze by Kale was plus 350 listen two fights ago he slept Andre rovski who is a better boxer than Kyle Machado just like you know it’s a 40s something year old Arlovski dant Maya win the fight last time out he lost to Nasim Mento that’s really not a bad loss austo Sakai I think dant May is going to end up looking more like like a you know minus 250 favorite so I’m actually saying this even though he’s a little chunkier I think Dantel May might be a decent bet here I liked him at plus 100 I think he’s fine at minus 110 Dantel Mae Lord Kong for the W and uh seeing him a little heavier than normal I don’t know my confidence grew a bit maybe the power is going to be more devastating and he’s seeing himself also with a big advantage in the clinch he’ll bully Mado in close too so Dantel ma to win guys Dantel ma for the w man confidence Rose from that way in I won’t lie to you all right we got Austin hubard versus Mall figlock I’ve been picking Austin hubard to win throughout the week fig Lock’s in really good shape let’s look at the scales we might as well bring him right up because figlock looking looking good I’ll be honest I’m not goingon to lie to you fig Lock’s [ __ ] shredded for this fight and he looks dialed in he’s got the no joke cauliflower ear either I mean we know figlock can grapple Austin Hubbert on the other side I mean he looks pretty jacked too I give credit words D both of these guys are putting it all on the line figlock Looks intense though I’ve been picking hubard to win a decision I just don’t believe in figlock just yet seeing how faras xam handled them in wrestling sequences and in grappling that just worries me it’s not that fasam isn’t good he’s a tremendous Striker and he’s got good wrestling defense but it was the offensive wrestling that he bullied figlock with that’s worrisome and I know people say I’ll short notice you write that is the main excuse I get it I get the mentality maybe or maybe not or maybe Austin hubard is going to beat him too I’m gonna go Austin harbard to win a competitive decision in this fight sticking with my original pick there’s no flip skis on this side I’m sticking down with my own savagery I’ve already called plus 152 for Austin hubard figlock minus 177 and over 2 and a half is minus 245 and hubard to win by decision plus 2115 listen the money is beautiful fig Lock’s a decent Prospect and maybe he turns the tight and ends up being good or maybe he was never that good at all and he was just8 and0 and the hype kind of got to us but the actual reality of the skill set I don’t think it’s that great it just depends on what can Austin hubard do I’m thinking hub’s in shape ready for three hard rounds bro he’s from Denver Colorado that’s where he’s training I like that I think in a fight that’s going to get gritty because I don’t think figlock can finish him I think hubber can come out on top at the end give me Hub give me Underdog decision thud hub for the decision win next fight on the card it brings us to our featured prelim of the night we have Han Yaya versus Victor Henry I’ve been picking Victor Henry with confidence all week but like after the weigh-in I started thinking man am I picking him with a little bit of Cockiness too because hanaya is still a decent test for a lot of people I know Montel Jackson chinedum but if you remove the loss to Montel Jackson he beat kyong hok Kong he beat Reay Rodriguez he drao with Enrique barzo who’s doing pretty good in pfl atour and then Ricky Simone he loses a decision against I know it’s some time ago five years ago was that Simone fight he’s been fight once a year at best and Victor Henry has a win over barcalo which is age really well lost to a sunsal Gravely split and then bosra no contest last time I am still picking Victor Henry I’m just trying to get you guys excited about a potential pick flip I’m going to spoil it right now no no I’m not pick flipping but I will say the Rock and roller Steven Tyler AKA Victor Henry versus the local Brazilian jiujitsu Professor Han Yaya could be closer than we think bro like Yaya looks like honestly looks like your grandfather I’m not going to lie to you he does he looks he looks grandfatherly he looks older than 39 but he’s he’s in shape he’s a badass Grandpa if Victor Henry can stay off the floor he’s going to light up Yaya on the feet it’s a big ass though Victor Henry’s got the [ __ ] tattoo of him you know out wrestling I don’t I don’t know what would be call it he’d be he’s killing him bro he’s uh Boston crabing him over there that’s his tattoo maybe he’s looking to do that to Yaya I doubt it I think striking for Henry is a big factor we’ll see what the [ __ ] happens but the odds are real wide between these two uh it’s kind of hideous actually because what minus 365 Henry plus 290 Yaya money’s come in on Yaya though is a dog a lot submission for Yaya is plus 600 people have been betting Ronnie Yaya I think Victor Henry can beat him if he can stop the takedowns he can win this fight if he gets put on his back I’d be [ __ ] myself if uh all your parlays are on Victor Henry so bet intelligently on this large favorite I do think he can win the fight though I’m going to pick Victor Henry to pull it off but yeah I don’t know worrisome with the odds like this worrisome as you get later but he really should beat a 39y old Hana let’s jump to our main card opener if you guys haven’t yet make sure you smash the likes and if you’re new subscribe we got Tim Means versus Yos medich I’m going Yos medich I think he can win I think the Striking can be on point here he’s faster than Tim Means he’s a little bit clean with the standup for sure now Tim Means is an OG he’s got a ton of UFC experience he’s really damn tough he can weather storms and he’s a good brawler too I just think Yos medich is so much cleaner in the Striking and then I take into consideration he’s significantly younger and I’m goingon to assume making some pretty decent improvements to his game I got to go with Yos medich moving up to 170 pounds I feel like Euros is going to look better than he did at 55 and I know the Toc orai fight kind of you know damaged the potential hype that was on yuros medich but MC Ori is an exceptionally good wrestler and that’s just not even close to the style you get with Tim Means the Styles make the fights here I think madich can touch means with some big shots on the feet I think we might be looking at three rounds but I do think minich’s speed Edge comes in and I feel like he could Rock him means at some point in this fight too knocking him out difficult task but possible there’s yo medich this Tim Means Tim Means looks funny in this man holy [ __ ] that badass hillbilly that’s that’s what Tim Means looks like in this then the good face off between them you see mean’s a little bit taller he’s got longer reach I still favor mich’s striking on the outside even though he’s had a disadvantage in the reach Department I’m gonna pick Yos what is he as a favorite minus 300 for yos timy is plus 250 looking at it medich to win by decision is plus 360 KO is minus 115 submission is plus 600 listen Tim Means has been guillotined a few times how many submissions we got for Yos medich man when’s the last win by sub two wins by sub okay he got a triangle choke and a triangle choke so if he can somehow develop an okay Guillotine and he rocks Tim Means there’s a vulnerability there we see means locked up in Guillotines a good amount front headlock position i”s say somewhat of a weakness for him at least guys have exploited that in the past I don’t know if Euros is going to have the slickness in the grappling to do just that but I do think in the Striking Euros is better so give me Yos Mich for the W next fight on the card we got Jonathan Pierce versus David onama listen I’ve been picking David onama as an underdog throughout the entire week what does he do today that’s going to get a lot of people worried he came in at 148 and a half he missed weight for this fight I have a different mindset than the masses when it comes to this weight Miss specifically I think that David onama may have strategically missed weight did he take inspiration from Ryan Garcia against Devin Haney last Saturday I think so Jonathan Pierce is a tremendous pressure wrestler who’s strong from top position and does threaten with submissions not the most jacked guy he’s on the Slimmer side David onama on the opposite front is a Powerhouse punching power physical strength explosiveness he’s a Next Level athlete a lot better of an athlete than Jonathan Pierce not draining himself down to 146 pounds those two and a half extra pounds that he was supposed to shed I think later in the fight would end up being a bigger Factor potentially gassing against Pierce in a third round or in a a wrestling battle he’s going to be more fatigued but with that little bit of extra weight I think this is a strategic Miss he’s going to be able to fend off the takedowns a little better keep up with the pace more and land a death touch shot I’m calling onama by KO still and I’m going to say if this weight Miss was not an accident onama used to be working with James Crouch bro you know they got their own tactics they got some tricks so like I said James Crouch James Krauss there we go holy [ __ ] like I fumbled almost call him James Crotch still regardless I think David onama is winning and look at the shape he looks like a lightweight look at the face it doesn’t look sucked out trust me this was on purpose he said I’ll give you the money I’m getting a win strategic strategic weight Miss there’s Pierce and then there’s the face off I think this was on purpose guys I do I’m going to believe that this was a plan for David onama to come into this fight with more physical strength energy and power and I think the knockout for onama the possibility of it is Rose we got plus 132 for David onama he was up to the plus 150 range has come down a little bit at open was even money looking at onal win via KO currently sitting at plus 225 then what’s onama in the first round first round knockout for onama is plus 500 second round is plus a th000 this was strategic man onama is going to knock him out he’s a good Underdog I think onama chins Jonathan Pierce comes in a little heavier and it ends up being the best decision of his career and he knocks out a dangerous Grappler in Jonathan Pierce onama for the W in this fight knockout let’s jump to the next one we got Jo hanata denz versus Austin Lane I’m going with Joan denz I think he chins Austin Lane I feel like Austin Lane’s a decent athlete he’s fast he’s got you know some decent pop he can kick from the outside he’s got some long legs but Denis is going to be a lot more Polished in the standup and regardless of less MMA experience it’s just better striking and I don’t think Austin Lane is going to turn into a chain wrestler I think Denis is catching the chin in the first round and putting Austin Lane down now as far as the scales for these heavyweights let’s check them out we see here denz rocking the like two pack kind of looks like a Brazilian version of Chris Griffin I don’t know if you guys see it or just my imagination but that’s the vibe I’m getting he’s got the two pack and there’s Austin Lane coming in with the thick beard is in very good shape right at the Rock just not GNA have the skills man I’m telling you you can see it right now he’s getting knocked out Denis by KO high confidence man I think he’s going to catch Austin Lane coming in Lane’s chin comes up a bit at times and when you get a shorter guy like Denis that overhand shots already going to be a vulnerable factor I think Denis picks shots well and gets a KO late first round could be earlier though you could catch him at any point Denis is minus 320 the favorite he’s going to win looking at Denis by KO minus 235 holy [ __ ] under one and a half minus 265 probably uh Denis by KO in round number one is minus 150 for round two it’s plus 600 it’s probably first round I’d say three or four minutes in they kind of get each other’s ranges early denz starts picking shots Well Lane might touch him with a few ones and confidence will build but I’m telling you him touching than is is going to actually be his like greatest downfall because he’s going to be excited after he catches Denis with a big shot then he’s goingon to walk into a big shot Austin Lane’s going unconscious in this fight we’re going denz knockout in the first round here say it like depressingly no I’m excited for it but for Lane I do feel bad because he is going to get caught bad it’s not like you’re going to end up losing by submission against denz he’s going to knock you the [ __ ] out and you know nobody wants to get chin like that I don’t blame him next fight is our featured bout of the night we got Karin Silva versus Aran lipsky somehow now they change it though Aran D Silva is the new last name something interesting well battle the silvas I’m going with Karin Silva over Aran lipsky the Silva listen I think Karen Silva is a special talent I think Arian lipsky had a perfect performance last time against Casey O’Neal but Casey O’Neal is not that good she was an overhype Prospect that’s the honest truth and lipsky tricky veteran was able to beat her and the lines were lopsided I called lipsky then so I’m not a lipsky doubter if you don’t know I’m not a lipsky doubter it’s that Karen Silva is just better lipsky’s gotten better on the floor Karin Silva is substantially better than her it doesn’t matter she’s gotten better she’s going to on her back she’s probably going to get submitted here Karen Silva is going to get the win and we’re going to check them out on the scales though to see how everything’s looking let’s see how the ladies are looking Silva looks [ __ ] jacked she just looks like she’s got that thing look at the physique and then look lipsky come on bro come on you guys know what’s going down this is come on lipsky is a tough girl okay she can strike a bit she’s she’s experienced she’s not Elite and I think Karin Silva is one of those Brazilian girls that could potentially be a world title Challenger in the next two years maybe even the next year so I’m going with Karen Silva and I think she’s going to dominate this fight and I think this is post weighin looks like the lock holy [ __ ] minus 155 Silva she’s going to win bro the odds are too close for this one it should be minus 275 lipsky don’t got a chance man if you remove lipsky’s win over Casey O’Neal okay for a second imagine she was coming off a split decision against Melissa gate what would we Line This it’d be 4 to one you are getting a steal on Karin Silva right now I’m picking Karen Silva with confidence it is what it is BET with your own mind though you know what I’m saying I’m not telling you this blindly tail but I really believe Karen Silva is gonna whoop lip’s ass submission is pretty likely lipy by sub plus four no no no where is it plus Sila by sub plus 235 look at at [ __ ] plus 550 I’m getting blinded I don’t think lipsky is knocking her out Silva to win straight at minus 155 bro you’re getting a deal of a lifetime I think Karen Silva’s got this I think that she’s got this if she doesn’t got this [ __ ] I’d be pretty surprised man for real Karen Sila for the W special Brazilian Talent co-main event of the evening we got Ryan span versus Bogdan guskov Superman span who I called the lock of the week but I’m not going to sit here and lie to you if I was doing lock of the week Friday right now it would have been Karen Silva just so you guys know the honest truth of how I’m feeling I do still believe Ryan span’s gonna win and I would still have him as a confident call for sure I think he’s but regardless I do think Ryan span pulls this one off regardless of my feelings post weighing which is now pissing me off that’s why I seem a little flustered but it is what it is we got to jump to five rounds against Alex Perez and he’s going to be pushed to the point where he has to win a hard five rounds against a very game Alex Perez Nicola does have good counter striking good lateral movement I think he’ll avoid some big kicks and punches for Perez and even potentially time some takedowns I know Perez is a wrestler at heart but I think Maas Nicola could land some good takedowns against the cage or towards the cage I should say with them being flyweights the small cage isn’t as much of a substantial Factor there’s still a lot of room to move and Maas Nicola is absolutely a mover so expect technical striking well-timed takedowns and counter shots and I think that’s how he’s going to beat a tough dude like Alex Perez now as far as the scales between these two both men obviously on weit and ready to rock Nicola again looking like Sid from Ice Age forever to me holy [ __ ] and then on the opposite side Alex Perez looks decent I mean he’s in shape but he’s lost three in a row damn tough face off though there’s some Swagger on Alex Perez I think this is the most confident I’ve seen him look since before the Pantoja fight or before the figuro fight I should say let’s see if Maas Nicola can avoid those leg kicks they’re going to be coming at him and there’s going to be big hooks by Perez as well I do think there is a high probability of Nicola winning with a high fight IQ and more of a game plan not going out there and banging with Perez I think you can beat him minus 177 for Nicola as the favorite with Perez at plus 152 decision win for Nicola plus I don’t like submission win for Nicola plus 250 I don’t like I don’t really love the main event betting side it’s a short notice Main Event it was supposed to be Nicola and cop but I do think Maas Nicola wins this fight on the judges scorecards I think we probably go over two and a half rounds which is minus 200 so something to note is that over two and a half I’m excited to see what happens between these two flyweights because if Nicola goes out there and wins I mean he puts himself back in the mix if Perez gets it done then he just won’t die the legend won’t die Nicola to get it done in
