you might be asking yourself why I have my FootJoy rain jacket on without my left arm in it especially in the middle of South Florida well the late great Jack Lumpkin one of my mentors taught me this one day sitting at lunch he made me go out in his car and put his rain jacket on to help me feel how to create some nice width and structure for the arms and the back swing so he asked me just to feel like the left arm was a nert just not doing anything and when I make that wind up and create that stretch through my trail arm I’m going to create this wonderful arm structure from the top of the swing and then also a really good pivot to support that so if you just let that thing hang there grab it with your right hand grip and then really make a powerful pivot with a bunch of width against that stretching arm you’re going to create some wonderful structure in the back swing to set up a wonderful downswing
