so today I’m on a field trip of my local course comparing two golf balls you might remember I recently cut open the pxg and the Kirkland golf balls they were really similar apparently made in the same Factory but how do they compare on the course for durability the ultimate test for durability on a golf ball is the bunker shot in this highly scientific test under strict controlled conditions I’m performing my usual rubbish bunker shot and we’ll see how they compare for any scuffs or scratches after they’ve each been hit five times which one do you think will be more durable let me know in comments below before I get any hate in the comments I made sure that I tied it up after myself and gave the bunker a good rake so fresh out of the bunker let’s have a look at the pxg you can see it’s pretty Sandy and has a few marks on it let’s pop it in the ball cleaner to get a better look the Kirkland straight out the sand looks like it’s had a really tough time this could be a lot of sand but I’m not feeling confident about this ball okay so we’re nice clean and the pxg actually looks much better it’s cleaned up very well and I’m genuinely impressed with the end result a closer look all over the ball and I’m struggling to find any significant impact marks but here near the alignment logo there’s a scuff but overall it’s done very well how does it compared to the Kirkland golf ball this has had a good clean but you can definitely see some impact damage to the outer layer of the ball yep straight away there’s one on the logo then there’s one two on the side and a big one on top which I’m not sure you can see so out of these two golf balls I have to say the pxg was far more durable in my very scientific test did you get this right and what’s the most durable ball you’ve played with let me know in the comments below
