Welcome Beginning Girl Golfers!

I’m excited to share a beginner’s journey golf specifically tailored for women. Whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby, enjoy time outdoors or meet new friends, I hope to help you get started.

This video is a simple introduction to me. My first video – just to say hello!

This channel will be dedicated to helping the beginning girl golfer navigate the first steps of their journey. I will cover things you typically won’t learn in a proper golf lesson (be sure you take proper lessons). There are always challenges to learning something new. Golf is certainly no different. I hope by sharing missteps and mistakes that I have made, I can help you avoid them and make your process as smooth as possible.

Our videos are designed to empower you with insider information to start your golf journey with confidence. As you are just getting started, my tips will give you the foundation you need. And, maybe we can have a little fun too 😊

If you find this video helpful, be sure to give it a thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, and turn on notifications so you never miss out on new golf content.

Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or topics you’d like me to cover in future videos or you can visit us at www.estherdoesit.com

Let’s do this!

[Music] Tia [Music] he fire [Music] come on hey girls officially welcome to the kickoff party you see what I did there party it’s funny so my sole Mission here is to get as many women into golf as possible and the last time I checked this statistic 70% of golfers are men we can do way better than that disclaimer I am not a golf instructor I am not here to teach you swing or aim or alignment there are many amazing resources around to do that so we will let them I think most people that are interested in trying golf for the first time are hesitant because they think you have to be good to start playing and that is simply not the case that said there are some things you need to know Behavior etiquette but being good isn’t a prerequisite to trying frankly some of you just have some head trash and I’m going to weed through those misperceptions and I’m going to try to give you the Insider information that you would only otherwise be able to find out by playing on the course yourself I’m pulling back the curtain if you will with the goal of saving you time and why I’m uniquely positioned to be giving you this information is because I’ve been in your shoes your shoes are gorgeous by the way I’m gonna do anything I can to help you because I want to shorten your learning curve as much as possible I don’t know about you but I have a really hard time taking golf advice from a guy that’s been golfing since he was 5 years old he has no idea the challenges of being an adult beginner and he’s certainly has no idea the challenges of being a girl adult beginner as Ed melette says you are uniquely qualified to help the person you used to be and in my opinion when you take advice from someone who’s been in exactly the same situation that you’re in right now that exchange of information is so much more powerful I’m going to give you the tips and the tricks that I learned from my extensive fumbling in bumbling and I’m going to share my mistakes as embarrassing as they may be in the hopes of helping you avoid the same I’m okay going first I’m okay taking a machete and chopping the trail and as long as when I turn around I see people enjoying the cleared path I’m good so this intro will by far be my longest video ever I intentionally set up my videos to be little bite-sized pieces of very saturated information that you can quickly get through and hopefully make an impact we’re going to post a new video every week and certainly if there’s a specific topic that you want covered just leave a comment with that I want to take a pause and send a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for all the people brave enough to put their face on this thing this is scary this is like first t-shot of the day scary also I’m not going to introduce myself at the beginning of each video I’m confident you’re smart enough to be able to figure out all the things you need to do so if I could go back time there are a million things I would have told myself as a beginner and that’s the point of this to share the information with you I’d like you to keep in mind that golf is a journey it’s not a destination and sometimes during a journey you miss your flight but sometimes you get an upgrade I hope that you can learn from my mistakes to hopefully avoid as many detours as possible my first official piece of advice is just get started the best time to start something new is right now you know you’re only going to have to attempt to hit a golfball for the first time one time so you might as well do it now also I need you to stop comparing yourself to other people and their skills you are on your own unique Journey it’s a process and beautiful things take time lastly I want to call out that I’m doing this all on my own as a beginner this and filming and the editing not that you couldn’t tell but hopefully the fact that I’m doing this as a beginner might serve as inspiration for you to start doing something as a beginner if I can do it you can do it don’t forget to get your copy of your girlfriend’s guide to golf it is a very quick read and it is full of all the tips that I wish I would have known as a beginner so are we ready like I feel like we’re ready we’re ready let’s do this we’ll see you next time
