why do people get so angry playing golf the simple reason is a concept known as superficial knowledge the frustrated player wholeheartedly believes they know and understand how the golf club works and that they’re using it correctly but the club refuses to work for them while good players make it look so easy the frustrated player believes they’re doing the same things as good players but in reality they’re not and they can’t see the difference it’s their superficial knowledge and the fact that the player is completely unaware of it that is the actual cause of the frustration and anger the frustrated player believes the use or application of the club is axiomatic when in reality it’s far from it although proper use of the club is incredibly simple improper use will only result in years of frustration when used properly the club is an almost magically efficient tool but when used improperly it almost seems the club itself is fighting against the player and it is the simple explanation is that the frustrated player is simply swinging the club in the wrong direction they believe they need to move the club head in the direction of the desired ball flight but that’s not how the golf club is designed to be used the golf club is a lever and levers not only multiply force but can also redirect it the golf club is truly a Marvel of modern engineering invisibly encased in what appears to be a stupid stick with a lump of metal at the end overhand golf.com is the only website that explains the physics of how the golf club actually works and how to use it properly so that the club does what it’s supposed to do automatically the phrase we often hear is why didn’t someone teach me this 40 years ago if you’re finding this video helpful and want to learn more about the magic hidden within the golf club and how to use it properly we invite you to join our community at overhand golf.com please hit that like button and subscribe to our Channel your support helps us create more content to improve your game making golf a less frustrating and more enjoyable sport

  1. It took me years to get over the fact that my failures at golf have nothing to do with the club, but personal failure by simply not practicing! Now unfortunately it's physical failure due to injury and age that I'm working thru but I no longer get frustrated or angry! It's just a game after all! I did have a good 20 yrs of decent golf between! Thanks for your support!

  2. I know that before I step foot on a golf course, I’m going to have some absolutely terrible shots.
So, when I make those shots, there’s no surprise. I take great pleasure in the rare great shots and erase the bad ones from my
    memory.

  3. At first you might think this video is a bunch of hooey but it actually quite profound. If you're one of those golfers that's frustrated and angry it's simply because the ball doesn't do what you want it to and it's simply because your intention with the golf club is fundamentally incorrect. It's not your fault, no one every told you what direction to swing. You, like everyone else, just assumed you swing toward the target. That's how every other sport works so why not golf? Good players have figured it out but oddly they're unaware of what they're actually doing which is why they can't teach it to you.
