one of the primary things I do here at
breaking 80 is I review golf products I
get dozens of golf products a year into
review and to check out to put through
their Paces so one of the questions I
get most often is all right but what’s
the stuff you’re really wearing what’s
the stuff that you absolutely love
what’s the stuff that you would
personally go out and buy well we’re
going to start a new series I’m going to
do a quarterly series of what I’m into I
don’t know what we’re going to call it
but we’re going to do it this is the one
for spring 2024 these are the five items
that I have been in love with these are
the five things I have not taken off
they’re the five things that I’m really
excited about don’t get me wrong there’s
a lot of other stuff that I’ve reviewed
that I’m also excited about and use but
these are the things that come to mind
most when I think about what am I
wearing on a day-to-day basis what am I
putting on when I get dressed what are
the things that I’m excited about having
in my day-to-day life so if you’re

things I am most excited about so
honestly it has nothing to do with my
affiliate relationship with some of
these companies I’m just really stoked
on these products so take that for what
it’s worth just wanted to be as upfront
as possible and now let’s get to the
first thing this is the fleece hoodie
from Grayson and it’s honestly the first
piece of Grayson apparel I have ever
used it turns out I had over like 500
bucks in credit at my my club from a
tournament that I won like 5 years ago
that I completely forgot about I walked
into the pro shop I saw this and was
like you know what that looks cool I’m
going to buy it and I feel like I
haven’t taken it off since it’s
comfortable it fits great and personally
I like the Grayson logo with the Pumpkin
Ridge wit Holo logo inside that might be
a little bit of a polarizing touch let
me know if the comments if you like that
style of logo but not only is this
hoodie soft and comfortable it’s also
great to play golfin whatever your
thoughts are on playing golfin hoodies I
respect that but I’m a pretty casual
person so if they’re going to let me out
in a hoodie then I’m going to take
advantage of that especially in the cold
Springtime here in the Pacific Northwest
and this thing is great provides lots of
moveability I have no problem with my
golf swing and I’ve absolutely loved it
so even though I have no relationship
with Grayson I’ve never done anything
with him up to this point I don’t know
anyone over there I just bought this off
the rack and I’m stoked on it so there
you go moving on to number two are these
redley golf shorts these are probably
the best golf shorts I have ever owned
now hear me out this is going to sound a
little weird they’re pull on golf shorts
this button there it it’s just for looks
there’s traditional fly traditional
zipper but you just pull them on and
they are comfortable they’re great they
come in two sizes when they originally
came out with these pull-on shorts they
had a hem link that I think was 7 in was
a little bit too short for me a little
bit too short for the golf course these
have a 9-in inseam and are the perfect
length the perfect height they’re the
super soft performance material so no
matter how hot it gets these are still
comfortable and personally I’ve got
three pairs of them and I don’t just
wear them on the golf course I kind of
wear them everywhere because they’re
comfortable they look good they go with
just about anything and I love them so
if you’re looking for a new pair of golf
shorts I highly recommend checking out
the shorts from redley they’re great all
right third thing I’m excited about
right now and wearing all the time are
these These are the painter golf
training shoes so I don’t think I’ve
ever actually done a video review of
painter golf shoes I’m going have to do
that soon but I’ve done a bunch of
written reviews that I will link to
below essentially painter golf they’re
trying to make the ultimate performance
golf shoe or in this case training shoe
they’re taking all sorts of high-tech
stuff you look at the bullet points on
the sales page for their shoes and it’s
just like it’s like words you don’t
understand all sorts of high-tech
technology proprietary stuff they’re
taking all that stuff putting in their
shoes to try and create a shoe that is
actually performance oriented rather
than some of the other brands that are
leaning more towards fashion oriented
stuff these days so at this point I’ve
reviewed three different pairs of their
golf shoes they are all great whether
you’re looking for a spiked model a
spikeless model they’ve got all of that

but the thing that I’m wearing most
right now is their new training shoe so
if you’re looking for a shoe to take to
the gym to wear around town something
that looks good is comfortable this is
it for whatever reason like Nike
traditional tennis shoes like I just
haven’t liked the style of a lot of
those shoes that I’ve seen like if I’m
looking for a pair of shoes to wear with
shorts I’m looking for something that’s
not going to give off like Dad shoe
Vibes and these have kind of just hit
the mark for me I’ve been wearing them
all over the place I’ve worn them out on
runs I’ve worned them to the gym and I
love them so while this isn’t
technically a golf product it is from a
golf brand but it’s it’s what I’m
wearing in my day-to-day life the
downside to the shoe specifically in the
color way that I’ve got with this white
is that they tend to get really dirty so
especially if you’re wearing them
outside the gym and you are wearing them
out around town you probably want to get
some like Scotch Guard or sneaker
cleaner or something because they will
show some of that dirt in the way that
some of the other colors will not but
despite that I still love these and I’m
wearing them multiple times a week and
moving on to the fourth thing that I’m
currently excited about
is this sweater from G4 so this is their
Marino wool blend sweater and I
absolutely love it it’s not cheap it’s
like 300 bucks but I found it to fit
perfectly and be the perfect weight for
Springtime rounds of golf it’s not super
thick so it’s great to put on in the
morning when it’s a little bit chillier
but if you want to keep wearing it
throughout your round it’s not going to
get so hot that you’re going to be
uncomfortable I love the fact it’s got
some stretch to it it’s got a nice
little accent around the collar which
adds just enough uniqueness to make it
stand out from other brands and overall
it’s one of the best fitting highest
quality pieces of apparel I’ve gotten
over the last year I’ve worn this thing
for countless rounds of golf I’ve worn
it out to nice dinners I even wore it to
a wedding so while it’s by no means an
expensive sweater if you are looking for
a nice layering piece to add to your
collection this is definitely one I can

fifth thing that I am super excited
about that I’ve been wearing all the
time in my day-to-day life for the
spring of 2024 is this this is the
Garmin Epic F to watch if you’ve watched
some my other videos you know that I’ve
switched from wearing an Apple Watch day
today to a Garmin watch but the amount
of data this gives you about your health
and fitness is unparalleled not to
mention it is an unbelievable GPS golf
watch as well so even though the S70 is
technically garmin’s Flagship golf watch
their Phoenix models and their epics
models can do like
95% of what the S70 can and it can do a
whole lot more as well in fact it’s been
good enough to get me to ditch my Apple
watch which I absolutely love the
downside is it’s a smartwatch so it’s
not necessarily the most stylish watch
it’s not a mechanical watch you know it
it looks fine but you still kind of have
like a big black screen on your wrist at
all times but the data it’s provided me
using it on the golf course it has made
it an indispensable tool that I use day
in and day out and absolutely recommend

things that I’m wearing every single
week day in and day out that I
