so I’ve gone and had myself a blue teas
Day meaning I took three parts of their
Tech out onto the golf course to see
what they’re like now for those of you
who haven’t heard of blue te’s they’re a
relatively new company their mission
statement states that they want to take
they want to revolutionize Golf Tech
they’re kind of they want to make it
cool they want to make it accessible and
they’re going to provide the best
quality they can and when you look at
the quality of these products and the
price compared to maybe
equivalent they are pushing
hard so I took out onto the course the
series 3 Max Rangefinder the ringer GPS
handheld device and the player plus
speaker and GPS now this is the speaker
we don’t really list I don’t know of any
course in the UK that anyone listens to
music but I know in America you do this
speaker has other ideas as well cuz it’s
GPS so it’s a fun one but for my UK
audience you might we do find it a
little bizarre that you listen to music
but for the people who like to listen to
music maybe in the comments do you
listen to music or not down below are

so let’s talk about the
unboxing appearance and process of these
three products in the Box the touch of
the Box how it’s all packaged and what
you get like it does feel like appes you
know that high quality really well
condensed boxing I know this doesn’t
affect the performance but you do feel
as soon as you get your hands on the box
you open it you start taking the
wrappers off you get the products out in
ly in your hands you can feel that kind
of apple esque quality each product as
it came out of the box as well it did it
kind of it’s quite it’s it’s well for
the price you’re like thinking wow that
feels really good like what is it going
to be lacking because it feels to touch
super heavy light in the places it needs
to be light like the speaker heavy and
substantial and it just like The
Branding is good on all of it the blue
teas brand is fun it just the unboxing
experience was a
pleasure so first off maybe the one I
would use the most the series 3 max
range finder again feels the quality of
the materials are as good as the top
quality brands that you’ll you’ll spend
a lot more on like it felt really good
in hand the ergonomics of the device is
where the thumb slot was free button
system on the top the quality of the
viewfinder the quality of the so you’ve
got an exposed charging point so there’s
one thing that is maybe a slight
downside is that the battery is in the
device you can’t replace that battery
but it’s a waterproof charging port
there’s no cover over it it is just made
high quality it’s waterproof it’s USBC
charging which I like the device felt
solid like I could move I mean I’m a bit
lazy with my range finders I will just
slightly Chuck them down to the ground
once I’ve buzzed and chucked them down
and this was water resistant which it
felt and I had no problem putting it on
The Dewy grass and it just felt solid
like it there’s no real moving Parts in
there it felt like I could be as lazy as
I do get with these devices so what
features do you get bearing in mind the
price when we get to it you’re going to
see is crazy so you get active slope
switch you can switch the slope on and
off and it’s got a clear marker when
it’s on and off for your competition
modes obviously with it on you’re
getting that slope reading so you can
really start to learn how much downhill
and Uphill your coures are maybe take
notes for when you’re playing in
competitions me personally range finder
without slope just seem pointless you
should always be just trying to learn to
get better at reading slopes knowing
that you’re going to have to turn it off
in competition play so having slope on
this is great it’s got Auto ambient
display so the display will change
subject to how severe the light is if
you’re shooting into dark like you know
into trees or if you’re shooting into
the sun it moves it changes the
viewfinder to make the viewing
experience Crystal Clear like it’s clear
of any range surer I’ve used it’s got
Advanced flag lock it locks on and then
it gives a pulse vibration as well so
you know when you’ve got that flag
locked and you’re not getting those
trees behind you again making it super
super easy I I like to do the one-handed
test with rangefinders like can I do it
with one hand and you absolutely can
it’s very very stable so the stability
of looking through that through finder
and looking at 200 and 20050 yards or
180 yards or whatever you’re measuring I
absolutely could zap Flags trees bunkers
using one hand which shows again the
quality and the stability through the
lens it shoots up to 900 yards so you’re
never going to be able you know it’s
going to measure every yardage you’re
ever going to want and it also has the
magnetic strip so it strips it will just
clip to the buggy if you’re someone who
wants to clip it onto the buggy which I
do when I go on my golf trips the whole
device felt as good as the top end
devices that I’ve tried it had loads of
great features um and again I’m going to
show you the price you’re going to be
shocked the ringer it’s a GPS handheld
it can clip to the buggy it’s got a
magnetic strip or you could just put it
in your pocket so I would use a
combination of both certainly if I was
walking around this thing in your pocket
it’s super Sleek design it’s very smooth
rounded edges tactile in your hand nice
ergonomics kind shaping sits in your
hand really just comfortable like you’re
not going to notice it in your pocket
it’s not big and cl pumpy the screen
locks as well so when it goes in your
pocket you’re not activating and
changing hole which I thought was super
clever this is a touchscreen basically
GPS and shot tracking device so you can
track your shots on this so tell it what
club you’re hitting tell it if you hit
the green miss the green front miss the
Fairway hit the Fairway miss the Fairway
left miss the Fairway right like you can
tell it information about your game and
it’ll start to learn telling you how far
you hit in each Club kind of you’re
giving you on course driving distances
so it’s it’s really working with you as
well as offering those GPS Basics front
middle and back it also has a hazard
detect so it knows where the hazards are
and you can basically Mark out not on a
map of the course cuz remember this is a
more basic option but it’ll tell you how
far the bunker is and how far the water
is it’s got Dynamic green view so you
can again go up and see what’s going on
around the green and get more precise
yardages to like if you can cover
bunkers those kind of ideas which I
thought was really clever Auto course
recognition which is the same with the
speaker as well so you just basically
turn it on when you get the course it
knows where you are and you select the
course if there’s two courses there
it’ll give you two options and you
select the one you’re going to play it
also works as a music controller for the
speaker so if you’re looking at the
player plus speaker it works as a music
controller for that as well so it’s an
ecosystem of devices these devices all
three of these they’re kind of built to
work almost all together if you wanted
all three like they’re they’re clever
what they’re building in blue teas
they’re not only giving you quality
great price but they’re trying to build
a kind of ecosystem of products and with
a 10hour battery life the outdoor day
screen which you can just see like the
screen is just clear as anything in
bright daylight this is a great little
buddy for someone who just wants that
more simplistic GPS front middle and
back but if you want to go deeper down
the onion if you like through the layers
it does offer a lot more as well

the player plus speaker which is a GPS
system as well there so this one is a
curve ball for me cuz like I said we
don’t use speakers but I have speakers
at home I’ll give you an audio test it
is hard to do an audio test because
obviously you’re getting the audio via
my microphone plus the preamp on the
camera so there’s so many ways it’s
coming through to get to your ears
subject to even how you’re watching this
video but I do have a what I call one of
the best speakers I think you can get at
the moment in my kitchen so I’ll I’ll
give you a compare to that as we go on
so it’s a touchscreen display you get
this big touchscreen display on this
speaker the speaker features what they
call radical bass so the sound is of a
good quality got premium Dynamic audio
they’re saying and on a golf course like
I didn’t turn it up too loud cuz the UK
is a little stiff when it comes to music
on the golf course but I got out there
early enough and there was a green
keeper who comes and chats to me asked
me what I was reviewing I showed him
this and he couldn’t believe the quality
of the sound and how it filled up the
space so the t Grand we were in now you
pair a speaker to your phone and this
was super clever because now the
functionality just like a you’re playing
the music through the phone to the
speaker so you’re controlling it through
your library on the phone you also can
see a map like a computer graphic of the
hole you’re playing where you can do a
fly over you can look at the green you
can touch the screen to see how far you
want to hit it and what it would leave
in and if you want it to the front of
the green you can just touch the green
like that was super super clever as long
as you’re happy to use your phone with
the device obviously if you’re playing
music through your phone which is the
only way these speakers are going to
work you’re already using your phone so
the actual app was clever on the app you
could keep score there were basic stats
like hit Fairway left Fairway right
Fairway hit green short left right and
front it was also allowing you to track
your Club so you could put what club
you’re H in track hit your shot and then
put it in again so you’ve got these kind
of basic track features as well if you
want to really kind of watch your game
which I thought was super clever the
display gives you front middle and back
it also then displays hazards as well
pointing out like most GPS system on the
big brightness gray that you can see
Outdoors no problem so you get that
visual distance but also it can do
audiable distance so it will speak the
distance for you if you want it just to
call it out when you get to your ball
another feature that was super clever so
I parked my buggy car whatever you call
them um about 6050 yards away from this
te and walk back to this te because you
don’t drive back to this te it’s set
back obviously you’re getting a yardage
from where that car is you wouldn’t
really bring the speaker you could if
you wanted but you wouldn’t but what’s
so clever is you just pick up your phone
and as you move the distances
dynamically move on the phone it knows
that you’re moving that phone away so
you can get that distance from the
actual T without having to BR bring that
speaker back with you which I thought
was super clever it’s going to measure
parts of your game letting you
understand how far you at each Club that
you put into the track system so it’s
going to start learning your game and
giving you some ideas we’ll be able to
look at the data and see how far you are
actually hitting clubs in the real world
it’s got a links party pairing feature
which I think you can link up many of
these devices so across carts and things
I mean I’m happy just playing golf but
if you want to party on the golf course
it’s got this as well it doubles up as a
power bank so you’ve got connections at
the bottom which you can just plug your
phone in if you want to make sure the
phone’s not getting hammered obviously
the phone is connected to it and this
has got a 10hour battery life so it’s a
you know you basically got a hefty power
bank going around with you which is
giving you distances it’s talking to you
it’s keeping your score it’s tracking
your clubs it’s powering your mobile
like it and it’s playing music like it’s
doing so many things it’s got a very
strong magnet that Clips it to the buggy
like it’s not coming off like you do get
a bit of aof as you pull it off you can
feel it’s super solid it will not move
and it’s waterproof so if the rain and
the showers come it’s going to be able
to be used outside now for me as someone
who doesn’t listen to music so much on
the golf course I just see this as
something I could use if I’m practicing
out on a and it starts raining on the
practice area where I would listen to
music often headphones if I was on my
own I in England we wouldn’t do it if
other people were there here’s a quick
audio test of it compared to my homepod
the big homepod which I would say is
probably you know a high standard of
audio

so when it comes to the cost of these
products let me know what you think here
are the of the products coming up for
you in your region I mean the G the
rangefinder is a great price for
everything you’re getting like that is a
I would call that cheap in its field for
the features you’re getting I wouldn’t
call anything cheap in golf everything
comes decent cost the speaker compared
to what I know of household speakers
again for the quality very good anual
getting the GOL
functionality and the ringer just like
they’re really afford aable for the
quality and the features you’re getting
this brand means serious business and if
you want discounts on those price make
sure you use the codes for each one of
these products as well don’t pay more
than you
should so in conclusion I had a lot of
fun on my blue te’s day for me the
rangefinder the series 3 Max that would
seamlessly fit into my gear it does
everything I need does it at really high
quality it’s reliable yeah that would
just easily fit into my gear and you
know for the price what you get in it’s
a no-brainer if you need a rangefinder
the speaker I would have the speaker
probably if I lived in the US maybe for
practicing and things like that I don’t
need speakers on a golf course
personally I don’t mind if you like them
that’s I’m not I’m not judging like I
I’m happy to see him on there I just
feel like I’d rather just concentrate on
golf I don’t need it
I definitely could double that speaker
up for my garden Sim knowing I can just
whack it outside if the rain comes I’m
not scared I would use the front middle
and back on the speaker as well if I was
just casually playing and driving around
in a buggy again it would be very u
space so I would have the speaker it
wouldn’t be my it would be a real treat
it certainly wouldn’t be my first
purchase I think the ringer is great for
anyone who wants something simple with
the idea of maybe developing into using
it in a more smart way again for the
price it’s doing what simple front
middle and back GPS do but you can do
lots more but you’re not paying loads
more and just the quality of it and how
kind of solid it feels it does feel like
it’s going to last and having a 10hour
battery on that and the speaker
certainly the ringer having a 10hour
battery I think is great I mean that’s
three or four rounds subject to how many
holes you’re playing in each round and
if you’re using it on every round how
much it’s sleeping those kind of ideas
like I thought I was impressed blue te’s
like they’re going to cause a storm they
are New Kids on the Block and yeah I was
super super impressed now if you want to
