Rusty all right I’m good all right guys
10 under par 62 today just talk to me
about what went what went well out
there um yeah we started good Luke Eagle
two and then I made a really long part
on four Luke made a great part on five
he just got in a really good Rhythm
early I felt like we’re both hitting
Fairways not necessarily hitting it
really close but we it felt like early
we had two chances on every hole I think
that’s key to get in a good rhythm in
this format because your partner’s in a
bush or something it’s almost harder
than playing your own
ball and Luke give me a recap on those
two Eagles you guys had out there today
yeah I mean uh Henrik was in good shape
on two as well with a great great birdie
so kind of freed me up and I had a good
read there um poured it in and then you
know Henrik you know like I said the
swing of the day was on nine that kept
our momentum going to make par there on
a tough hole and then he made a great
Birdie on 10 and that fed into 11 and I
you know fortunately we had a good look
which probably freed him up a little bit
too there and that’s the key is the
ability to like put yourself in a
position where your partner can be freed
up and um I think we did did a really
good job of that today and with the wind
conditions today did you guys strategize
it all any
differently I don’t know it’s to me it’s
when it’s windy like this I’m almost a
little freaked out on the Range it feels
like the range is always the windiest
spot on the golf course and like I said
I think we got in a good Rhythm the wind
didn’t really bother me today at all
like I mean I mean it’s been so
consistent all week it’s been the same
direction so you sort of know when you
need to aim a little bit more right a
little bit more left but yeah we were
playing well so it’s uh yeah didn’t
bother me yeah and going back into four
sus tomorrow one back what’s a strategy
have fun yeah and uh yeah I have fun and
just try to play solid golf it’s cliche
but like it’s such a tough format it’s
not easy to get in Rhythm and this is
really important important to is to have
fun in that format I think and you guys
played together here last year so talk
to me about how this team came about
yeah we live in Augusta together and not
together but live in Augusta both of us
and the uh we play a lot of golf at home
and yeah we had a blast blast last year
playing with um for our first time and
that was easy to continue that again
this year and like I said earlier it’s
just fun to play an event where it’s not
normal and we get to play a little bit
of for ball and forom and um it’s just a
fun city too we got some friends here
from Augusta so
like I said we enjoy each other’s
company on the golf course and off so
it’s just been easy to um enjoy our time
out there and being in New Orleans is
there anything you guys have been
getting up to here lots of eating for me
for me too I like to eat so yeah lot of
good food look how’s it make you feel
that your partner is freaking out on the
Range With the Wind I didn’t tell him
that no I mean I’m just saying like
that’s to me it’s like the range over
the wind the range is always like feel
like the windiest part and it’s just
yeah it’s it’s unsettling warming up in
the you know 20 20 mph wind and the
range in off the left and um but he he’s
he’s a good ball Striker and I expect to
continue that tomorrow and we’ll we’ll
we’ll take whatever wi comes comes at us
