speed was 300 through six then Bogi 78
and N will pick it up here at the 11th
hole yeah it was a pretty typical Jordan
Speed type of day there were times it
looked like he was going to shoot 75
times he was going to look like he was
going to shoot 65 shots like this were
the ones that might have gotten him to
65 he hadn’t made all those bogeys he
gets to 100 par at that stage and then
here at
14 very important approach shot
here
and you can see turns it right back
toward the hole right underneath the
hole 204 yds hits it to 7 ft he would
make that one and get the three under
par and then he gets over to the 16th
hole about 20 minutes later and watch
this
shot that is a
shrimp a big pull
hook and over the fence and out of
here but he was able to save a bogey six
I think that was important at that point
point and then this was big after the OB
at the easy par 516 come on Jordan go
ahead and do that round of 69 for
Speed I mean I think it was more solid
than maybe the scorecard dictates um I
hit a lot of Fairways today hit a lot of
greens um you know ended up leave three
putting a couple that I I left two short
on the first Putt and um that
unusual uh these greens have fooled me
since I arrived here on Monday with how
kind of they they seem glassy and fast
and they’re just not yet and I think
there’s a little protecting going on for
what normally comes on the weekend here
but um I thought it was solid uh you
know the mistakes that I made I feel
like I can clean up and there weren’t a
whole lot of them I think the up and
down on 10 was big I mean it it looked
like a basic one but it really was it
was it was a hard one to get close to
the hole and I hit a really really nice
chip there and it just got off the bogey
I mean not on bogey trains very often
and when you are it’s just a bad feeling
and I and on those bogeys they were all
done you know couple of them with some
really nice shots and just you know just
got bad speed and and hit some good
putts that missed or misre but um I
thought you know 11 was bigger than I
thought 10 11 there was a big way to
turn it around cuz then you know you
have a couple par fivs left and I think
when I was teing off on 12 I thought
three under would have been a good goal
and um uh you try and hold on on the
other holes and Birdie the par fivs but
it was nice to get a bonus on
18 we’re not far from those great roller
coaster at Universal those roller
coasters got nothing on this guy bogy
789 Out of Bounds at 16 and still shoots
69 he’s sitting in the top 10 in this
field going into round number two two
previous appearances here at Bay Hill
tied for fourth both times we’re back in
30
