guys it’s a very solid round today just
give me a recap of what went
well um yeah I think we just built off
um yesterday’s solid round um we Dove
tailed well yesterday but today
obviously different format you just got
to kind of stay in the hall and uh I
think we did a great job of that I think
couple of times we were out of position
we we managed to to obviously recover
with the second shot and um maybe left a
couple out there but we’re in a good
position going into the weekend yeah I
think we got a we did a good job of not
trying to do too much sometimes in forom
you can try to make up for mistakes a
little too much and we just kind of took
our medicine knowing that he could he
could probably make up for a mistake of
mine and vice versa and we did a good
job of that today kind of staying on the
right side of the hall um didn’t give
ourselves too much work to do and like
you said different format today what was
complimentary to your
games um kind of we do a lot of the same
things well right now um so it was
almost like I was playing my own ball
sometimes like we you know Callum hits
it so well that he kind of know where
I’m going to be um and yeah I felt like
I hit it decent um we both had birdy
looks that we could have made and didn’t
and we both had a couple of parp puts
that we did really well to haul so yeah
it’s just a good complimentary
round and Flawless back nine what picked
up the momentum going into
it um I
think we we played solid all day um like
you say we both of our games are very
similar um and we’ve managed it really
well for the for the first two days but
even today it’s it’s not easy out there
forams is a is a tough game um so you
just got to you just got to stay in the
hall almost there’s a couple of times we
both had approach shots where the right
Club would have potentially brought in a
big number so hitting to the fat part of
the green and giving ourselves 30 ft
isn’t bad sometimes and I think we both
did that on numerous occasions um so
yeah just uh just manage our games
really well and would you say the
morning tea time give you a bit of an
advantage did you feel the wind coming
in this afternoon yeah we’ll see it it
doesn’t look like it picked up around
eight or nine for us and uh doesn’t
doesn’t seem like it’s whipping didn’t
quite like the forecast but you know it
could it could pick up and it’s supposed
to blow this weekend as well so I’ll
make it interesting and going back to
baseball tomorrow what’s the strategy
full
send full send just stay stay aggressive
I think in for ball um like you said
we’re hitting a great off the tea and
just got to give ourselves chances um
and for the most part we’ve done that um
but yeah just stay aggressive because
someone’s going to shoot 10 11 1200
tomorrow so we’ve got to just keep our
foot to the uh foot to the floor and
keep making birdies in in this format
how much strategy do you talk during the
course of the round we talk a lot um but
we see the same thing so it’s not like
we have to talk through it for a long
time like probably whatever I’m seeing
he’s already seen it so yeah that’s why
we meshed together fairly well we did
our right last time we were here um and
we just kind of see the same things so
like on those couple of occas
where we could have gotten more
aggressive to a back pin or could have
gotten you know closer to a front pin
we’re both kind of seeing the same thing
in this format there’s sometimes you
know not much you can do you’ve just got
to hit it to the sensible part and you
know we we we both see the same thing
and that
