hey guys welcome back to Modern golf I
hope you’re having a great day and even
better week today we’re talking about
one of the I would say the fastest
risers in the golf bag industry and
that’s Sunday golf we’re talking about
the new Rider
S-Class so if you’re unfamiliar with
Sunday golf they’ve really been known in
the last several years as the the Sunday
bag guys right the lightweight LMA is
probably their most famous super
lightweight super easy to carry handle
you’ve seen the bag replicated by a
number of companies right this is a
little different for them this is the
rider which they’ve had for a while uh
we’ll go over the specs this is the new
S-Class this is the vinyl they call it
vegan leather like water super water
resistant super easy to clean golf bag
what do we think about it what do we
like what would we like to change all
that good stuff
so toes to no is about 35 in long has a
five way top that yes for those people
who are asking does have a four
fulllength dividers in it and I’ll show
you guys here now so you can see that
I’ve used this for a couple weeks now um
what I like what I don’t like this is
cramped uh for my style right like I
like a big 14-way top I know there’s a
lot of guys that I love to argue with on
social media who want a minimal esque
golf bag listen more power to you I’m
you’re not wrong just personal
preference I go driver 3 with putter um
hybrid usually 5 6 7 8 uh n pitching Gap
sand Lop so microfiber esque kind of top
I would call like an engineered mesh um
I like it it’s fine the handle is good
has a little grooves that makes it feel
nicer in the hand certainly easier to
get up when you’re hot and sweaty um
walking on a golf course so I like this
bag a lot the weight is going to be a
little bit of a contention because they
don’t put the weight on their site I
scaled it right around five 5 and 1/4
PBS um it feels about that um but I
don’t have an exact I got it between 5.2
and
5.6 so somewhere IID say in that range
so let’s go over the features um and
then again we’ll wrap up of what I think
who should be getting this bag uh this
little section over here is for your
umbrella uh there’s a thing here and a
thing here to kind of connect it I don’t
use an umbrella very often um but I do
like having this I’m a big fan of the
sleeves that kind of hide in the bags
but I digress um rest of the bag as we
talked about is that vegan uh leather
like material I I really really like
this I think for a $269 price point
they’re coming in really really good um
no one’s a dummy when how they’re price
pointing this stuff um I think it’s a
very very sharp price point for where
this bag’s coming has a fabric loop I
know some of you guys are going to say
oh that’s nonsense they should be for
higher end bag it should be a different
material I’m fine with this I actually
hook my glove onto this um so I’m okay
with this this Prada esque triangle is
for your glove um I would say it’s
probably safe all the time um but I like
again I like to hook mine through there
so this bag they claim they have seven
Pockets I’m going to tell you I think it
has more but I don’t know really where
they’re coming from but I a lot of
pockets good amount of storage and some
odd Pockets first so let’s get into the
odd Pockets
first this one here right so the slant
pocket that goes down is really good for
I would say during your round um maybe
you’re a rangefinder maybe your glove
um whatever you know I would I put my
keys in a wallet in that pocket I
wouldn’t but um I’d just be afraid it
could pop out the other pocket is
similar next to it again almost like a
same kind of little different cut almost
more like a vertical cut but also goes
down this is great for golf balls te’s
gloves what have you um so I like these
two pockets I love The Branding on here
it’s very subtle very cool if you
haven’t tried out a Sunday bag they do
something I don’t know where they’re
getting this velvet from this is the
softest velvet on Earth this red um it
is literally the softest valuables
pocket I’ve ever seen uh I also had the
LMA coming out at some point um this
year that also have the same Pockets I
think they all do very nice they have
neat garages here for some of these
zippers I should say um and then some of
the zippers not all are Aqua guard I
don’t that’s a weird thing to me um but
again I don’t care so much maybe they’re
considering your Val your valubles
should have it and the other stuff it’s
not as important I don’t know have um
the garages some of them have the aqua
guard some don’t I I’m assuming because
maybe they feel like they want to
protect your um Swatch watch in here
so the other thing I would say which I
like which is a little
bizarre um this full pocket
here it it start the zipper starts here
but the the pocket goes up to here so it
it’s kind of a weird you almost like
loading it backwards so you kind of kind
of push the stuff up forward um and then
kind of load it that way it’s okay the
one thing I really think is cool has a
cart trrap here which you don’t see very
often certainly in this price point um
and this material with that I think it’s
very cool nicely done uh Sunday golf so
like this again no problems with
everything here this is where I I don’t
love and you guys know I don’t love a um
fabric handle I I won’t kill it because
it’s black and so it’s easy it’s like a
seat Bel polyester kind of blend
material so it’s fine I love the Sunday
logoing here it’s subtle it’s black and
a kind of a dull medium to dark gray it
looks very cool very Sleek looking bag
what I will say I don’t love this this
feels um not the most secure but again
if if you know anything about Sunday
golf lifetime warranty on their golf
bags I I they must be the only ones on
Earth that have a lifetime warranty that
I know of I know one year two year
lifetime warranty and its manufacturers
defects you you talk about pushing your
chips in the
middle that’s that’s
that’s something for them so I I guess
my my point is moot because if you
are worried about these breaking um and
they break you get a new one or they fix
it so the strap system is great I
actually really like them I want I don’t
want to call it the equilibrium cuz I
think somebody else owns that name but
it’s worked very well the straps are
very soft U Mine were bent um extremely
when I got them I tried to bend them
back but they still the padding is very
good again subtle branding I think
Sunday’s done a really really nice job
with this S-Class bag really nice job we
go down this way this is what I think is
a very cool they call it their Frosty
pocket um they have this in a lot of
their bags this thing is huge you I put
my 32 oz yeti in here it’s all cooler
lined um I think you could put put two
to three maybe four bottles of 16 or 20
oce um Mr pib or uh yooo uh or Budweiser
whatever you want or Miller I should say
say we don’t like Budweiser anymore um
Miller whatever you want so I like this
pocket a lot very cool this pocket as
well is huge um this is all the rage I
I’m Blown Away in the last two or three
years every brand every manufacturer
every bag has a zip off pocket to put
your Twitter or X handle uh or Instagram
if you’re that guy um on here very cool
The netting comes off to help you uh
keep it in place uh but if you do want
to get your Twitter handle on there um I
love modern
golf uh you can put it on here very cool
um has a handle here it’s fine it’s same
material as it’s like a seat Bel
material same as the handle I think it’s
good two things i’ like to see on here
and you guys know where I’m at with this
I love to see Sunday golf put their logo
um I just think it is what it is I think
it’s a cool look I know rarely anybody
sees it but me um but I still like it
and I think they they misstepped here
with a little bit there’s no rubber on
any of this um and I think that’s kind
of a a misstep for them so but I will
but that’s fine I mean listen it is what
it is um I will say I love the base with
this as you can see the base really does
a nice job staying in place um so
they’ve done a really good job with that
this is one of the strangest Pockets
I’ve ever seen this is called a no smell
pocket have you ever seen that in a golf
bag before no smell pocket I’m assuming
it’s for your gloves and this is what I
said I think there’s more than seven
Pockets maybe they just consider this
one but there’s a ton of place for your
gloves um or te’s or golf balls or your
phone or your keys or your wallet um or
your if not um but really like this
pocket no smell that does not mean you
leave your old banana in there at the
end of the year I don’t think it’ll stay
not smelling forever um but a neat idea
I’ve never seen that in a bag before it
say no smell and actually a place for
your gloves so pockets are good
everything is really nice with this bag
I love the subtle branding let’s turn
this bad boy around so you can see this
um we’ll go from top to bottom here I
like the hip pad a lot I think it’s one
of the coolest designs I’ve ever seen in
a golf bag the only thing I would say I
wish it was a little thicker but heat
resistance I use this twice walking um
was very good no issues with rubbing or
causing issues or what have you or
ruining my clothes um so really like it
just again wish it was a little
bigger you guys probably know I would
like a zipper in here to put the rain
Hood in but okay we’re done with all
we’ve had that conversation 100 times um
I don’t love this mesh a ton um I wish
they would have just copied the no smell
pocket on both sides maybe it’s a weight
thing maybe it’s a cost thing maybe it’s
both um I’m just afraid longterm again
these guys have a warranty but I’m just
afraid long term this rips and falls
apart and now you got a droopy looking
pocket hanging off your your bag but
again they stand by their products so
good for them um this last pocket here I
put the rain Hood in here um I would
probably when I play again I’m supposed
to play what’s today Friday so when I
play in 2 days I’ll probably leave it in
there and put a towel um in there and
then the rest of my gobbley Go stuff
goes goes in the other pocket legs are
standard metal legs nothing to write
home about they are just metal legs two
things I really like about this bag this
tough guard I think it’s a great thing I
love where it says in for the weekend
you get it for the
weekend um I think they I don’t say it’s
misstepped here I think this is
misplaced and what I mean by that is you
can see where the legs kind of end up
like almost at the end and this guard is
all the way up here I wish wish they
either made it 2 in longer or shifted it
down but again I don’t know if they’re
all made that way but I do like that
tough guard I think it’s very cool and
there is a lock down U with their little
logo on it uh at the bottom here so what
do I think about this golf bag who’s it
for all that good stuff so I do like
this bag I like it a lot um it is not a
bag where Steve if you’re watching you
can put 42 clubs in this bag like you do
your current bag this probably is only
made to hold 14 they say it can hold 14
I use 13 clubs I’m weird that way um and
my 13 fit great what I love to see a
larger 14-way top yes yes I would um I
like to see a poter pit i’ like to have
a little more room um those of us who
have larger Putters now my putter takes
up the whole top space um so that would
be one thing I definitely like to change
um the rubber feet on the bottom the
logo who cares about besides me um but
the rubber feet at the bottom I would
like that would be about it those are
the only really two things that that I
would say I would like differently uh
but I do like the S-Class I like the
vegan leather plastic for some of you um
I love how easy this is toan I’ve used
this maybe three or four times now over
about 2 or 3 weeks and it’s held up
incredibly well um it’s held up uh this
will probably my bag I use for the next
month or two um and see how it is but
they’ve done a really nice job if you
haven’t checked out Sunday golf again

very cool I think it’s a very nice bag
do not think you’ll be disappointed and
again any warranty issues they got a
lifetime warranty which is unheard of I
mean this
is I don’t know if this is going to be a
slippery slope for golf bag
manufacturers but boy you start offering
lifetime warranties boy that’s going to
start changing a lot of things prices
may go up but I don’t know how people
can stand behind a bag um for a life of
it I mean a life I mean listen some of
you people I know because I’m looking
right at you you haven’t cleaned your
shoes in 6 years let alone your clubs
let alone taking care of your bag so I
don’t know what Sunday golf is doing I
think it’s a slippery slippery slope I’m
here for it I like their bags I like
their products I like the people at
Sunday golf I like that they’re putting
all chips in the table and saying we’re
all in so anyway guys I hope you have a
