ABOUT KIRK JUNGE
———————–
Kirk Junge began playing golf at the age of 5. After a successful Junior Golf career, Kirk turned professional in 1986. He has played on the Dakotas Tour, the Teardrop Tour, the South Florida PGA and the SouthWest Ohio PGA where he captured one victory.
Kirk recently proved how amazing the Setup 4 Impact swing is by winning the Senior division of the 2023 United States Golf Teachers Cup in Las Vegas with a score of 4 under par for 36 holes in difficult conditions, over a top field of USGTF certified golf instructors. He won by six shots, after finishing second over the past two years. It was mainly due to his simplified Setup 4 Impact golf swing and simple set of drills that anybody can learn to play their best possible golf. See results under Senior at https://2023uscup.golfgenius.com/pages/9947992403082241279
In the year 1996, Kirk began to teach the golf swing of Moe Norman, and shortly thereafter taught with the Natural Golf Corporation, where he stayed until 2005. During that time he was one of the top instructors and was responsible for answering over 3000 golf technique questions on the Natural Golf forum. He was a licensed instructor with the Graves Golf Academy from 2014 to 2016. Kirk also holds several other certifications with the United States Golf Teachers Federation, the World Golf Teachers Federation, and is a former PGA of Europe member.
After leaving Natural Golf, Kirk headed to Pforzheim, Germany where he ran his own Golf Academy until 2014.
In 2005, Kirk set his sights on creating a simpler golf swing, which led to the creation of Setup 4 Impact Golf. Using his 20+ years of golf instruction experience and his knowledge of the many different golf methods. Kirk has distilled golf knowledge from some of the best golf instructors in the world to create the Setup 4 Impact golf swing. His instructors included the likes of Wild Bill Melhorn, Jimmy Ballard, Terry Crouch, Artie McNickle, Chuck Hogan and Dave Pelz, and many more.
Kirk’s main goal is to help golfers improve their game as quickly as possible.

The Setup 4 Impact golf method can be fully customized to fit your own personal needs without the need for special golf clubs.
Kirk has taught golf for 35 years now. He has taught various golf methods including for Natural Golf Corporation, Single Axis golf, and the Graves Golf Academy. The Setup4Impact golf swing very closely resembles the swing of Bryson DeChambeau who also sets up on his impact plane. Kirk’s number one goal is to help you improve at golf.
Kirk Junge currently teaches his “Setup 4 Impact” swing full-time in West Palm Beach, Florida year round, as well as Cincinnati, Ohio, Reading, PA, and Sanford, NC a couple times per year. Other locations coming soon including California. More info at https://setup4impact.com/kirk-junge/

TR oh well
played very
well play that for berie today looking
at the great swing of Bryson D Shambo
who sets up and swings on a single plane
and he’s one of the few on the tour that
actually do this and it’s something that
I’ve taught for many many years with
great success and I think it’s the
easiest way to swing a golf club not to
be confused with others who set up
similarly uh but don’t really take the
club back on a single plane Bryson as
you see here has a club in alignment up
through his right forarm so if you look
up there the club’s still in alignment
so his right forearms on the same plane
as the golf club when viewed from this
angle as I put it into motion you’ll see
how the club goes right back on that
plane so he’s set up on his impact plane
and that’s what I teach it’s called
setup for impact Golf and you’ll see
Bryson right along the plane and you see
as that left shoulder here has moved out
a little bit that’s why the club when
you get to the top is going to be
slightly above the plane he set up on
and as it rotates as that shoulder
rotates back around the spine where he
started the club’s right back on that
exact same plane so he’s actually very
very much swinging back and through on
one single plane and you’ll notice uh
also unlike others you’ll see how that
right heels coming up he’s rotating
through the shot he has his left leg
straightening um and then when he
finishes you’re going to see him again
right where that blue arrow is at the
top because this uh now the right
shoulders rotated out around the spine
and this is a very simple thing uh to
learn and I so take a look here Bryson
on the right I’m on the left you can see
how we’re set up and how the plain line
uh goes up the underside of the right
arm so you can see that there and uh as
we go back you’ll see basically due to
this setup how the club goes back very
close to on that plane and you’ll see as
we get up close to the top it goes a
little bit above the plane due to the uh
lead shoulder rotating out around the
spine and you’ll see how the club stays
pretty parallel there Bryson of course
has a little bit longer back swing uh
he’s probably about 30 years younger
than I am uh but at uh almost 60 years
old I’m playing the best golf of my life
but I’m not playing at Augusta like
Bryson was today and you’ll see if you
watch the left leg uh you’ll see how uh
that’s pulling in and straightening as
we come into impact as the hips are
turning and the club’s coming straight
down uh down into impact down the plane
line again so it’s a really moving on a
perfect single plane back down and
through and basically looking from waist
tie that it’s exactly on that setup
plane and Bryson believes as I do that
if we set up with our wrists in an
uncocked position or what you would call
allner deviation it’s a lot easier it
takes a lot of variables out of the
swing and here you’ll notice both our
heels coming up you see the left leg
straightening there uh and then you’ll
see also two perfect golf shots if you
notice the spine angle we’re both in the
same spine angle there at impact that we
set up on which makes it a lot easier on
the body as well a lot less stress there
and you’ll see the club uh finishing
again above the plane due to the
rotation of the shoulders around the
spine uh so then you see the finish and
a couple perfect golf shots so I take
you through step by step how to learn
this how to get set up and then through
some simple step-by-step drills uh how
to move and one big Point here is also
uh you’ll notice the spine angle uh that
uh setup and impact it’s virtually
exactly the same uh he doesn’t have his
head dropping down a lot like others in
the past uh I tried to copy the swing of
mon Norman uh but that had the head
dropping so much that it was very
inconsistent uh for me uh so if you want
to get started uh check out my website
setup for impact.com and you can submit
videos as part of my really inexpensive
membership and I’ll guide you along the
way to customizing this simple concept
to fit your own game so if you’re trying
to swing on a single plane this video is
for you um if you don’t know what that
is uh and you haven’t heard of it I’m
going to talk about it here and it’s
really an easier way to swing a golf
club but very quickly a couple of the
main points are simply setting up in a
position where the wrists are in an
uncocked position or what we call allner
deviation every golfer swinging whether
they’re 5 years old all the way up to
100 when you swing the club gets pulled
into this orientation with the arm so
it’s actually on the same plane as the
trailing arm so a single plane would
have the club moving back and through on
the same plane like that and then also
going through this way uh the problem
with golf is we stand here bent forward
uh so on so the plane is here and so we
need to see that we taking the club back
on that same plane a lot of people uh
who have tried swinging on a single
plane actually what they’re doing
they’re actually being taught uh to take
the club under the plane which makes
absolutely no sense at all uh because
what ends up happening for people they
go back this way and they end up coming
into the ball also on the p path which
is to the right of Target for
right-handed golfers and that
necessitates uh them having to release
early to get the ball to the target or
close the club phase so learn to get set
up here on your impact plane like this
and then all we’re going to do once
you’re set up is learn take the club
back on plane and come back down uh we
want to have the hands leading my
learning program teaches you step
by-step how to do that and that’s at
setup for impact.com I also have schools
uh if you want to speed up the process
of learning uh and that’s my goal to
offer the fastest Improvement possible
so I’ll just set up here and
then back it through the ball goes dead
straight like that and at 59 years old
I’m playing the best golf of my life uh
thanks to setting up for impact and
swinging on a single plane check out my
other videos here on my channel uh
subscribe there’s going to be a lot more
great cont content and my goal again
Simplicity I want to most easily help
you improve your game as fast as
possible whether you’re a YouTube
subscriber or you subscribe to my online
coaching which allows you to send in
videos for my review gives you full
access to my learning stepbystep
learning program which again I customize
the concept unlike other instructors uh
who use a similar concept I customize it
to fit you and the goal is for you to
improve quickly not to spin your wheels
for months and years and have you having
to buy a 100 different training AIDS uh
which aren’t going to help you improve
we’re going to learn to move properly
we’re going to set up so it fits you and
you’re going to improve quickly let me
know if you have any questions any
questions or comments put them in the
box below again thanks so much for
watching and I hope you have a great

Great looking swing Kirk!
Top notch ❤
Can't believe Bryson's in the lead right now with – 7 at Augusta. Driver is solid, approach is good, putter is hot. Let's go!
I'd love to see a comparison of Bryson's swing with Steve Stricker's swing. Thanks for the video.
You need to make a suggestion on how Bryson can speed up addressing the ball. It seems he takes way more time than necessary.
