SNELL GOLF NEW 2024 PRIME LINEUP

@snellgolf launches our new 2024 PRIME lineup with PERFORMANCE FOR ALL. Three NEW urethane golf ball models built to fit your game. PRIME 2.0 is a 2-piece urethane model for slower swing speeds (players who hit 7 iron 125 or less), PRIME 3.0 is a 3-piece urethane ball for most mid-swing speed players (players who hit 7 iron 130-165 yards), and PRIME 4.0, an 4-piece urethane ball for faster swing speed players (players who hit 7 iron 165 or more).

hi Dean Snell here from Snell golf it’s
pretty amazing the amount of new players
coming into the game our focus in R&D
over the last eight or 9 years has been
really towards the better players we we
focused on the top performance high
quality high performance golf balls at
an affordable price our goal is still to
continue to design golf balls to keep it
affordable um but we’re working pretty
hard to try to spread that out so not
just focus on a difference in feel and
spin for better players but focus on
performance for all that fits everybody
so a technology that can fit all golfers
not just the elite better players with
this bigger consumer larger market right
now of new golfers coming into the game
it’s simple for us to separate out slow
swing speed mid swing speed and high
swing speed players now each one of
those categories itself has some level
of performance that’s required slowest
swing speed players typically don’t ask
us to design golf balls based on four
irons and five irons mid swing speed
players kind of the biggest group of
golfers that are out there are looking
for improvements with the short irons
the mid irons and possibly around the
green faster swing speed players
typically have a lot of spin in their
game they look for control from T to
Green driver through wedge so every time
you can add a lay to the golf ball you
can add a level of performance but for
you the consumer we try to design that
performance into where your game is
today so our new lineup is going to
consist of three new models our first
new model we’re calling Prime 2.0 Prime
2.0 is going to be a two-piece urethane
covered golf ball typically in golf
slowest swing speed players have been
pushed towards low compression so and
covered golf balls that means low spin
throughout the club when actually
slowest swing speed players need
performance the qu so they get to the
green so we’ve used our large core to to
maintain fast speeds and a thin new
urethane cover that allows short game
spin around the green control around the
green something that you don’t have with
the c and covered golf balls so Prime
2.0 will be for golfers that average
seven irons of 125 yards or less so
we’ve taken out the confusion on swing
speed and if you hit your 7 in 125 yards
or less Prime 2.0 would be a model you’d
like to try our second model will be
called Prime 3.0 3.0 means three layers
we’ve added a layer to the golf ball so
we have our core our inner mantel layer
and our durable urethane cover this golf
ball will fit the biggest range of
golfers anybody that played MTB black or
MTB Prime over the years this would be
the model that you’d want to try the the
large core gives us Speed The Mantel lay
helps with the spin rate in the mid
irons and the mantle and urethane cover
help control the ball around the green
this fits the player that has a swing
speed of roughly 85 to 110 or hits their
seven iron between 120 to 170
yard the third model we have is called
Prime 4.0 4.0 means four layers we’ve
added another layer inside the golf ball
for the fast swing speed players players
that have 7 I in distances from 160 yard
165 yard and above this inside layer
helps control the spin of the long and
mid irons to prevent the golf ball from
ballooning or be affected more by the
wind so the soft urethane cover is on
the outside the inside mantel layer can
controls the spin rate on the short
irons the inner mantel aay controls the
spin rate on the longer irons and the
core controls the speed and compression
and Driver spin rate of the golf ball
four piece golf ball total t the green
performance so we have three new models
Prime 2.0 two-piece large core urethane
cover very good short game spinning
control Prime 3.0 threepiece mantle
urethane cover 150 yards and in Prime
4.0 four piece te the green performance
for the faster players that hit the ball
150 yards and above with a 79 all these
models will come in both white and
yellow there’s no question over the past
years the price oflf golf balls have
gone up significantly our goal since
we’ve started is to bring technology
performance at affordable price to all
golfers visit us today at snowg golf.com
we have three new products at three new
price points designed for you and thank
you for playing snow golf

  1. Hate the new logo. Bring back the old cursive Snell logo. It was nice and classy. New logo just reminds me of Top-Flight. Other than that I’m sure the new models will be great just like every Snell ball since the beginning.

  2. What are the ball flight differences? Talked a little about spin but I like a low to mid flight would that make a difference on the ball choice?

  3. I hope the MTB 3.0 is more durable than the MTB Prime. I went to the Prime X cause I liked the slightly firmer feel better and it was more durable. I don't have a fast enough swing speed for the 4.0 it seems if that's supposed to be the MTB Prime X equivalent

  4. This is some terrible marketing. No words on flight, spin rates, or feel. Literally the only things people care about when choosing a golf ball.

  5. I bought some of the Prime 3.0 balls today. I was happy to see it in yellow. I am getting older and can’t follow the ball flight as well. The yellow helps. I liked the MTB Black and the MTB Prime previously, so I am excited to try the Prime 3.0.

  6. I love the first iteration of these balls but when the logo changed the ball did as well. Is this iteration back to what it was? I know there have been manufacturing issues. Any news on this?
