Bryson DeChambeau says the LIV schedule allows him to prepare well for the majors

Bryson a lot of people ask you know now
that you’re with Liv can you talk about
the routine you just got done talking
about how much that may or may not
benefit you coming into Majors where if
you were playing on the PJ tour you’d be
playing all the time and you’d be have
to go ahead and work through whatever
issues you had yeah so you’re talking
about the schedule
essentially yeah you can look at it
multiple uh ways for me um I feel like
that sort of schedule that Liv has has
provided me good ample time to get ready
for tournaments like this and look it’d
be it’d be fine either way um I’m not
going to side one way or the other uh it
is what it is and I’ve just made good
use of the time that I’ve been allocated
on live to work on my golf swing work on
the equipment that I have and get to a
place where I’m super comfortable going
into the week we played uh Doral last
week which is a brutal test of golf and
I feel like it it was a good thing that
we played there um and got ready for
this week because this is uh obviously
one of the best tests in golf

  1. I like Bryson, and I want him to win, but he's one of the only LIV guys who's playing well. Bryson cares a lot about the game, so he puts in the work, but I feel like a lot of the other LIV players left for the money because they don't care as much. It's clear that the lack of effort and casual schedules are really affecting LIV performance in the majors. Just look at John Rahm this year vs. last.

  2. This is to me the most important difference between LIV and PGAT. On LIV you're already paid, so you can slack off, not practice, finish last and you're gonna be fine. The bonus is like Bryson says where you have plenty of opportunity to work on your game if you want to. On the PGAT you have to perform or you'll be gone in a short time and not have much money to your name.
