two weeks ago a 57 the lowest round ever
in a PGA Tour sanctioned event for
chrisal Bal Del solar today a 65 in the
first round of the Mexico open how much
was today’s round just a continuation of
the great play you’ve had of late well
it’s hard to beat a 57 but uh no it was
great um you know played really
consistent today um just strike the ball
well stick with my plan and I mean I’m
very happy obviously I um you know
played great and hopefully we can
continue throughout the week how has
your life changed since you shot that
57 um well yeah I mean a lot more
recognition so that’s that’s definitely
you know definitely happy about it
um and uh yeah I mean a lot more people
have reached out uh media as well so um
trying to take advantage of it and uh
you know see where it gets me has it
changed your expectations at all in
terms of what’s possible for you in your
career as you try to be a regular on the
PGA tour
um I mean I wouldn’t say expectations uh
I mean obviously we all um I mean I
guess I know where I want to get to and
I I hope I get there in my career uh but
uh yeah it’s definitely a confidence
booster um you know shooting a number
like that obviously not many people has
done it before so you know it kind of
you know make you think it’s like you
know I I can do it I hopefully I can do
it more often so uh yeah hopefully
hopefully I I get the things done that I
want to accomplish you know at the end
of my career what do you have to do over
the next three rounds to make this a
special week uh well just continue doing
what I’ve been doing you know just stick
with my plan doing my you know weekly
you know routines and uh you know
hopefully it gets me where I want to I
want to get
to
