and this is just an iconic Place Brad
and Jordan I’ll say that you know your
2015 Masters wi you know you get to host
the 2016 Master’s dinner and I asked you
a question the other night just about
Arnold Palmer how many times you’ve had
opportuni to spend time around him and
you told me a great story about that
Champion Center
2016 yes it was Arnold’s last dinner um
and I think at the time you know I think
a lot of people in that room that were
close to him were pretty aware that it
was likely going to be his last dinner
and so a lot of my dinner ended up being
um Arnold stories and it was a really
special night um because of that I mean
I it was that and then Hideki getting up
and giving a a speech in English after
he won are probably the two coolest
moments that I’ve I’ve had at that
dinner and uh but yeah it was just you
know from Jack telling stories to Gary
Player just going back you know 40 50
years of competing with him and then the
impact he’s had and tiger telling
stories it’s just a very unique room and
then you know you had kind of the last
leg of one of the one of the legends of
our game and somebody who transformed
you know golf um and really was was
bigger than golf himself so it was um it
was a fun night it was it was a sad
night tears were I mean happy tears were
Shed off of great memories and um
something I’ll never forget for sure and
we are on land and I’ve had my eyes
peeled cuz we are close to some water
Jordan I tell you I did not see that
alligator have you said hello to my
friend at the six this week I have not
seen
him I’m not sure you I’m not sure you
still seem like your heart beaten from
that one that’s uh that was I mean what
happens if you don’t look up for another
few steps I am stepping on the tail of
an alligator and you’re going to see how
fast I can run a 40 yard dash in the NFL
combine well and then there’s the Cody
Gribble one where he just goes and slaps
it on the tail that didn’t really make
you look very good did yeah we should be
getting paid some type of you I’ve seen
this video so so many times we need some
royalties on this video do do we ever
mention what you scored by the way in
that hole Smiley say that again Mike do
we ever mention what you scored on that
hole I got a couple stck on balls in
that body of water on that same day
there Mike we’ll just leave it at that
it’s a nice nice plug but not really not
the right way to do it perfect Smiley
you went to LSU you lived on the volum
man you can’t be that scared of an
alligator oh gosh and Cody gble God I
mean he made me look terrible you just
got to get it out of the way he made me
look terrible
good read Jordan thank you it’s like you
know what you’re doing it helps that I
had it about two hours ago and you
mentioned Jordan the wind that’s going
to come in on the weekend and so there’s
going to be a lot of player caty
conversations and there’s no better
person to listen to than you and Michael
talking about some shots and we’re going
to go all the way back to the BMW
Championship where you hit it into a
fairway bunker and I tell you what when
you say Mikey this one’s on me we all
perk up yeah what’s wrong with hitting
right here having a wedge to 15 ft cuz I
think that if I’m prioritized getting it
up and it comes out either fat or
doesn’t quite and it kind of hits The
Grass the chances of it going up into
that water are so
slim I just feel like that’s a cool
Tuesday Wednesday shot I mean what I I
don’t I I I actually think it can do it
like and I think that the downside is
almost the same okay this one’s on me
all right okay all right I trust

almost this my favorite part right
here can you guys call rules official
for
me can you call her rules official for
me Jordan if if you weren’t playing
professional golf you know you would
have made a heck of a lawyer thank you I
I need at least six more years of
education to
qualify you can convince anybody of
anything though yeah you know he’s at
some point um that lobbying he doesn’t
really have a whole lot of a choice so
that’s why we’ve gone to the this one’s
on me and um it’s worked out a few times
I kind of wish we were going over one
that worked but occasionally it goes the
wrong direction too and and uh that was
not a smart play but I did not like
being in the lip of that bunker and
having to lay it up well I think we need
to probably put that on a t-shirt Mike
and Jordan this has been very fun I mean
we’ve we’ve called a lot of golf before
most of the time on the couch hanging
out but this has been pretty fun here at
the 6 today man SK you’re doing a great
job it’s fun to watch it’s fun to come
join you ‘ be happy to do it again all
right all right we’ll see you on the
playground I’m sure with some kids

guys couple years ago back the 14th hole
in the third round pitching wedge 163 is
Max hom and it’s his first Ace of his
PGA Tour
career that was a pretty special one too
because on that hole and again this year
MasterCard $200,000 donation to The
Arnold and W Winnie Palmer foundation in
the name of makes a it was Max hom 2
years ago and Max is hanging with smiley
to keep happy hour going Max thanks for
joining my man sorry we don’t have any
beverages for you but what do you
remember about that hole in one I’m sure
you uh had to maybe buy some beverages
for some people after that one yeah

and you know despite my efforts in the
match a couple weeks ago I do in fact

just feel extra energy around this event
with the Signature Events what about you
and the guys playing in these events
with the best players on a tough course
what are you guys feeling here this week
yeah it’s great I mean this is always an
incredibly important event to all of us
uh with Mr Palmer’s name attached it’s a
it’s a staple out here I feel like he
was had the best values as to what to do
to entertain the fans and we’re just
trying to do a better job of that uh so
it’s always fitting to come here and
kind of get reminded of that and yeah I
like the small Fields kind of make it
feel a bit bigger uh because all the top
players are here um I know there’s a bit
of contention on how many but it is it
is pretty amazing to see Sam Burns and
Scotty Sheffer and Brian Harman and
Victor hin and all the guys everyone’s
here and it’s a demanding Golf Course
Championship uh course and field so I
just feel like you know a lot of guys
get up for these and it it’s been quite
exciting to play them it’s a great way
to play into the players next week which
is coming up of course and as those guys
went by they’re waving to you and saying
hello it’s pretty good it’s just Scotty
Scotty didn’t really say hello I think
he’s he’s jealous he’s growing a beard I
already had a beard he knows I’m the
veteran so I feel like he was really
staring me down and Max you know you’re
known all around the world for how good
of a golfer you are but a lot of people
know you in the social media world for
being
very good on Twitter but really for
roasting golf swings so why don’t we
roast my golf swing because I you know I
could take it just just show me just
give me a nice good Classic Roast for
maxom this a 16 it’s spy
glass whoa okay as a shot draer made out
to be that whoever did that that’s a
mean person I’ll give you this this went
50 yards right so just just let me have
it I usually have a pretty strict rule
against the slmos cuz I don’t like to
watch them at this pace uh it’s hard
enough to watch most of them that is
just stuck right going right mhm sure
was oh man uh these are so much harder
to do a person cuz I got to stare you
right in the face uh we’re going to
blame the hoodie it’s moving all over
the place uh probably really threw you
off uh not not good uh glad your name’s
Smiley I think that’s a big bonus
something to keep in your back pocket uh
cuz I don’t that’ be that’d be a tough
one to laugh off are you shocked I made
par from over there
yeah incredibly shocked well Max this
