Hatton followed John Ram to the Saudi
Breakaway League before the start of the
season in what was a significant double
blow to the PGA Tour they are now on the
same team Legion 13 the Brit teed up at
the Masters this week and it was the
first time he was reunited with his
former rivals on the PGA tour many of
whom he competed alongside at Marco
Simone in Rome for the rer cup after
carding a final round of 69 to finish
the Master’s level par hadn’t opened up
on being reunited with his team Europe
colleagues and he confessed to feeling
anxious over telling them the news of
his multi-million move when asked if he
enjoyed competing again with his friends
Hatton replied absolutely I have friends
on the PGA tour and it was so nice to
see them it’s only been a couple of
months but it’s great I get on well with
quite a few of the guys it was a warm
reception coming back in in some ways
you’re always a bit nervous coming back
but yeah I when I messaged the group
chat to the rder cup chat to tell the
lads that I was going I was nervous
sending the message obviously I was
nervous joining Liv as well but the
messages that I got back was like really
positive and made me feel at ease as I
said it’s been great to see those guys
this week I’m looking forward to seeing
them again next month at the spga
