The PGA TOUR heads to the Dominican Republic for the Corales Puntacana Championship in a dual-event week for the TOUR. Nicolai Højgaard will be in the field after his T16 finish in his Masters debut. He’s claimed three top-20s and a runner-up finish so far this season. The Dane will look to go one better than the second place finish he claimed last year, ending up one shot behind winner Matt Wallace. Joel Dahmen will also be at the Corales Golf Club this week. He’s struggled to find form this season, having been cut from half the tournaments he’s competed in. However, T11 at THE PLAYERS Championship and a victory here in 2021 will give him the confidence he needs heading into this week. K.H Lee will also be teeing it up in the Dominican Republic. He’s found good form in the last month with a T4 at the Cognizant Classic and a T9 at the Valspar Championship. Others to look out for in Puntacana this week are Billy Horschel, Victor Perez and Carl Yuan.

some of the early final round highlights
we pick it up with Billy hallw yeah this
part four playing straight back into the
wind Pinn way in the back left so tough
to judge a distance
properly that as they say would lead to
this por four buries in a row was
leading by one at the time at 18 under
par heating up the putter on the sixth
yeah the six a short little par for this
kind of was a sneaky pin With A Little
Fall Off short of the green so he missed
that to the right side able to pour that
in Hoffman in the mix at 16 under par
Brian to 18 under a co-leader Kevin TW
same hole for Eagle trying to get to 18
yeah easiest hole in the golf course
nice to make a big putt for Eagle that’s
a little bit of a bonus a birdie look on
the sixth and these pass pal greens have
been running so nicely all week a little
bit slow by PJ tour stands at only a 10
but really nice Mak speed that one down
Billy horal on the eighth for birdie
great little Par Four here by the ocean
good wet shot in there from Billy able
to capitalize
porch’s putting has been phenomenal this
season Charlie Hoffman trying to keep
the birdie barrage going yeah this pin
on 10 tucked on the left side everything
falls off there so most guys hitting it
to right here and as you see these guys
just filling it up just trying to keep
Pace with everybody feeding off each
other making birdies everywhere and
Billy horel to get to 20 yeah from the
same spot obviously a great iron shot in
there it’s exactly where he was
aiming just a moment ago Charlie Hoffman
on the 12th for birdie and a
share gu’s making everything yeah not
hole looks big today for a couple of
these guys we’ve got some great scoring
out for Birdie on the 10th to see if we
can have four tied at 20 under yeah we
talked yesterday at the close of our
show that Wesley Bryan knows that he’s
going to have to go out today and
continue to make birdies because
everyone else is going to be pushing
behind them
so 238 front edge that’s about what he’s
looking
for yeah on a really good line here
Graham just left of the flag
yeah well done there from 250 to hit
exactly pin High there’s a little bit of
a back stop you see that ball coming
back that’s a b nice look for
birdie about 24 ft should break to his
left it is
slow oh this looks good horel cans it
now out in front by
two in the middle of those two is where
we find Charlie
Hoffman Fairway at the park four 13th
yeah tricky little pin here there’s only
about eight
Paces about four short and about two
behind that’s nicely done right below
the hole to the 12th been a tough day
for Taylor pendrith he’s a couple over
this is fourth shot to the par
five oh and that helps that thing was
moving too that’s a bonus maybe that can
write the ship a little bit gets a
little high five from his cadd Mitch
final hole for Jorge
CIO see if you can finish it out
style gets one last birdie to curl in
yeah you can see he projected 144 so
that’ll move him up a little bit 133
wind actually more left to right and
plays slightly uphill can’t go
left quite a difficult one to get close
to Oh all over it
magnificent up on the 14th PGA Tour
rookie Parker
Cy here’s a perfect Apple 123 projected
every birdie he makes the rest of the
day coming in once you get inside that
top 125 you can breathe a little bit
it’s just so tough as a rookie to feel
comfortable out here and keep your card
your first
year yeah can I reiterate four birdies
today no Bogies and he’d made eight
Bogies through 54 holes impressive stuff
for
Wesley orell can’t take his foot off the
gas on the 2023 Puerto Rico open
oh CS that one hit Chia Sunday 71 13
under for the
week we look at the par 4
18th first time we’re catching up with
Trace
Crow this is his first year on the PGA
tour nice one whole High 27y old played
his college golf at Auburn
ah this is really nice right here
beautiful little fade fading right to
the
center H’s been so good off the te this
on 12 and 14 Justin low at the
15th got
it trying to flight something to this
left hand hole location
sounds
[Applause]
good he’s posing on it it hit really
solid nice play right
[Applause]
there horal for birie walks it in and
he’s nine under on the
round that thing didn’t look like it had
a chance to miss the entire way perfect
speed about halfway there you knew it
was dead
center what round of golf there’s 23 so
I think barring a mistake by Billy
horel this might be his to win
now and you know he was out here on
Wednesday working really hard on his
putting and it’s paid off this week
[Music]
horer cozies it up
[Applause]
there a final round 63 for
Hall ties the course record at the
corales pakana championship and a new
tournament scoring record at 23 under
par birdie putt for Bryan on the 18th
this would give him that solo second
why not throw one more in
there that’s a great final round in the
final group hasn’t been here in a long
long time nothing to hang your head
about there not a win but I think you
take a lot away from
it get up and down for
TW a sign for 69 solo
third that final leaderboard horel
two shot win over Wesley Bryan Kevin TW
is third a lot of different story lines
what jumps out to you on this first page
yeah Charlie Hoffman played really well
today obviously a couple late bogeys but
um I think more than anything Wesley
Bryant and Kevin th they played great
rounds of golf um being under that
pressure for the first time in a final
group looking at the second page here
Shan O’Hare Stuck in Neutral on Sunday
even par 72 but a top 20 finish he was
1200 for the the week Adrien Dante
chasar who is the standout at Illinois
in his rookie year on the PGA tour t23
this week some of the other names we saw
a lot of Mark hubard first couple days
of our coverage of the carelles pakana
championship Chan Kim the PGA Tour Rook
really good round on Sunday with a
65 thanks for watching the PJ Tour on
YouTube watch another video right

  1. HUGE win for the BRYAN BROS. Love how Wesley is the topic in the comments haha. Congrats to Billy. Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

  2. Wow ! Wedgely Bryan held it together through 18 on the last day and that last putt on 18th was simply magnificent ! What a win even though Horschel pulled out a fantastic 63 to just get ahead of you. Doesn't matter – for all your fans you did the job, Wedgely fought off his demons and held his own and proved he can beat the pack ! I saw somebody write how proud they were of you. That sentiment is shared by so many of the Bryan Bros followers 👍👍👍🥂‼

  3. Billy and Wes left it all out there congrats to both on a stellar performance, with hopefully many more like those to come.

  4. Considering Wes had 1 bogey in the final round, had that been a birdie, 2 shots better, a playoff would have been good too.
Nice payday, either way Wes. Congratulations. Keep playing these events, striking it great.

  5. PGA please analyse the data and give Wesley an exemption to every single comp this year… viewership must be high on this event that literaly nobody would have watched if Bryan was not in.

  6. Poor Wesley, 99 times out of 100 he wins this event with that performance! Damn you Billy!
